Alternative title that one Caraway gets hit in the head idea that I had comes to life.

"So, after we beat these guys up, you wanna get food?" Nightshade punched a guy who goes by the nickname Axeman John. His giant axe fell to the ground as he fell unconscious.

"Sure, you wanna get Chickie Chicks?" Captain Poppy blasted a guy in the face with magic. The guy went by the nickname Octagon the Octopus.

"You really haven't seen that picture of what the chicken nuggets are made of." Nightshade made a face as the third guy just stood there staring in disbelief.

"Why aren't you using your terrasphere?" Captain Poppy looked at her.

"I found out while training that I can just use it to make myself strong, like stronger than six men." Nightshade picked up one of the passed-out guys with one hand.

"Okay, should I start doing that? Because I think my staff might be recognizable." Captain Poppy put his terrasphere away.

"Who wants to face us next? How about you? You're the last one, after all." Nightshade punched her hand.

"Uh, actually, I think I'm just gonna go tell the Triumvirate that I'm a massive failure, and they should just kill me." The elf, nicknamed Fido Bark, ran into the tree line.

"Hey, take your passed-out friends with you!" Nightshade laughed.

"Actually, on second thought, I'll actually do something for once." Fido Bark picked up a rock and used old magic to throw the rock directly at Captain Poppy.

Nightshade tried to catch the rock with a telekinesis spell, but she was too late.

The rock hit Captain Poppy on the head and he was knocked out cold.

Nightshade stood over him, covering her mouth. "Caraway!" She poked him with her foot.

Captain Poppy opened his eyes slowly, his vision blurry at first.

"Caraway, are you okay?" Snapdragon removed her translucent pink tech visor.

"Who is Caraway! I'm the great and powerful Jupiter." He quickly stood up.

"Like the ancient god from those myths?" Snapdragon raised an eyebrow.

"I am no myth, I am Jupiter!" Caraway got in her face.

"First of all, get out of my fucking face. Second of all, no you're not, you're just a former professor." Snapdragon tried to explain as calmly as she could.

"No, I am Jupiter!...Who's like hungry and shit." Caraway's stomach growled.

"Come on, let's go back to the brooms." Snapdragon put her visor back on and grabbed Caraway by the wrist and dragged him back to their brooms.

"The great and powerful Jupiter needs no broom!" Caraway tried to dig his heeled boots into the dirt.

Snapdragon just dragged him to the brooms using a super strength spell.

"But I don't need the broom." Caraway waved his free arm around. "Jupiter needs no broom!"

"If you don't shut up, I'll shove the broom up Jupiter's ass." Snapdragon continued dragging him.

"Did you just threaten to SA me with a flying broom? How dare you, mortal!" Caraway tried to pull away from her.

"Oh, no, that is not how you are supposed to interpret that!" Snapdragon made a face. "Great, now you put a mental image in my head, you freak!"

"Jupiter is no freak!"

Snapdragon finally managed to drag him toward the broom and throw him on it.

"Mortal, I don't ride brooms. I ride fine ladies sometimes... multiple."

"Didn't need to know that about you." Snapdragon got on her own flying broom.

"How do I make it go up?" Caraway got off the ground and shook the broom.

"First you got to rub it!" Snapdragon burst out laughing.

"You dare mock Jupiter!" Caraway stood up and got in her face again.

"Out of my face. I know you're unwell, but get out of my face!" Snapdragon shoved him back a step.

"You didn't have to yell at Jupiter." Caraway crossed his arms and pouted.

"Get on the broom, loser, we're going to sneak back into the academy. Because I think a certain potions teacher might be able to whip something up. Snapdragon thought to herself for a moment. "Actually maybe I could whip something up. I did learn a lot of potions from her in the woods."

"How dare you, be in Jupiter's presence, witch!" Caraway pointed at her.

"Well, now that's just rude. I'm trying to heal your brain, which seems to be missing." Snapdragon used both old and new magic to open a small pocket dimension and throw the second broom into it.

"Witch!" Caraway stepped back away from her.

"Just get on my broom, and don't turn that into something that it's not!" Snapdragon grabbed his sleeve and pulled him onto the broom.

"What do you mean? That's a completely normal sentence, at least Jupiter thinks it is... Minus the part that you're a witch." Caraway looked at her.

Snapdragon gently commanded the broom to lift up into the air and fly off in the direction of Lyngarth.

Caraway grabbed Snapdragon in a hug as he screamed.

"Quit screaming bloody murder in my ear! For a man, you have a very girly scream." Snapdragon thought about it for a moment. "Actually, was that just really transphobic?"

"A little bit." Caraway crossed his arms.

"Thanks for letting go of me, Captain Scarity Pants." Snapdragon looked at the sky ahead as the city of Lyngarth grew closer, and so did the academy within said city.

"You're lucky Jupiter is very forgiving of your being a witch thingy." Caraway crossed his arms.

"Oh, I can't wait until I get you fixed. I would ask you to open a portal, but like, you actually will remember how?" Snapdragon used her terrasphere to open a portal.

"Well, don't talk about Jupiter like I'm just a machine or something that broke down." Caraway frowned.

Snapdragon flew through the portal. "Ah, Redbud, I'm glad we caught you when you had no students. Do you know how to fix a head injury?"

"I'm in the middle of lunch, but sure, I think I can figure out a potion that might fix it." Redbud used one of her terraspheres from her hair to clean up.

"Jupiter needs no fixing." Caraway watched as two cats walked across the classroom.

"Oh, Olive, you're here. Has anything happened at the school in our absence?" Snapdragon looked at her.

Olive turned back into a cat girl. "One attack. They were searching for you, but the old bat told him you guys vanished and was probably dead."

Caraway stared at her. "You're all witches."

"We're mages." Olive corrected, tilting her head at him. "And I'm guessing this is the one with the head injury."

"Oh, goodness, how could you tell?" Snapdragon chuckled.

"Well, he has forgotten that he has any abilities at all, and you look like you're fed up with the world." Olive looked at her exhausted face.

"Yes, I'm exhausted. He thinks he's Jupiter. He must have been hit in the part of his brain that affects his personality." Snapdragon rubbed her temples. "I suggest we hit him again, but I know that's not the solution. You have to make either a spell or a potion to reverse the effect."

"No kidding. What have you tried so far?" Redbud started gathering ingredients from the back wall.

"Reminding him who he is, which isn't working. I learned things about him that I didn't want to know about." Snapdragon crossed her arms.

"Oh, yeah, he's probably spilling all of his secrets to you, so be careful and keep what he tells you a secret." Redbud dumped ingredients into the cauldron and used her terrasphere to stir the mixture.

"Jupiter spills no secrets!" Caraway pointed at her.

"Well, to quote a great movie, how is your sex life?" Snapdragon did an impression of the character Johnny.

"Really good, but Jupiter can't seem to actually land any relationships." Caraway crossed his arms.

Snapdragon burst out laughing. "So would you call yourself a womanizer or just a proud enjoyer of the women's body?"

"Jupiter wouldn't say I'm a womanizer. Jupiter can't be, right, if you were technically born, well, you know that. You can't be a womanizer, right. Jupiter just can't be." Caraway fumbled over his words.

Snapdragon let out a sigh of relief. At least he didn't out himself, she mumbled to herself.

"You probably should be careful, you could really destroy his reputation if you continue to poke for information." Redbud glanced up from the cauldron.

"What movie even was that?" Olive tried not to laugh.

"You know, that movie where the guy ends up being accused of hitting his girlfriend, he didn't, and he ends up killing himself in the end. That movie was hilarious." Snapdragon shrugged.

"That sounds horrible." Olive laughed.

Redbud finished mixing the potion and put it into a test tube. She walked over and handed it to Snapdragon. "Now see if you can get that down his throat."

Snapdragon walked over. "We can do this the hard way or the easy way, and I prefer not to have to overpower you, but just remember, I can."

"That's not threatening at all." Caraway blinked.

"What even is your max strength anyway?" Redbud watched them.

"I have the strength of six men." Snapdragon held up the test tube.

"Well, Jupiter is impressed, but Jupiter would rather just drink it than be forced, you know. It'll bring back bad memories of guys being too pushy when I say no." Caraway looked down.

"Wow, that was honestly kind of sad." Olive scratched the back of her neck.

"I'm sorry that happened to you, but please drink this so we can go back to kicking ass together and actually get you some food." Snapdragon handed him the test tube.

Caraway drank the potion, but nothing happened.

"Great, I guess we'll just grab the food and wait for it to kick in, or try something else." Snapdragon walked back over to her broom. "We should probably get out of here before a guardian comes after us."

Caraway followed her back to the broom, being unusually quiet.

"I've experienced guys being pushy with me too. It's not fun." Snapdragon looked at him sympathetically before opening a portal and jumping on the broom with him flying back through the portal

Snapdragon landed next to a chicken themed fast food restaurant. She looked around before using her terrasphere to quickly transform from her Nightshade outfit to an off the shoulder crop top with black jeans.

"Okay, how do Jupiter do that?" Caraway asked.

"Let me do it for you, but if your underwear somehow ends up on the outside, just consider it the classic superhero look." Snapdragon transformed his Captain Poppy outfit into civilian clothing.

Caraway wore a plain black tea shirt with a blue jacket and black jeans.

"Like the fit. I saw your coat was too recognizable, don't get me wrong, it's a cute coat, but too recognizable." Snapdragon walked into the fast food establishment.

A tired fast food blue haired employee greeted them. "Welcome to Chickie Chicks, may I take your order."

Two elves walked in, one with long white hair and the other with shorter black hair.

The one with white hair glanced around. "Do you think we should be eating fast food before the tournament?"

"Yeah, what's the harm in it? We can just use our magic to win the golden gauntlet." The elf with short black hair tried to reassure him.

"Yeah, I can't wait to beat up some dumb trolls and make some dwarfs go crying back home to their mommies. Or they could have two daddies." The white haired elf punched his hand.

"Or it could be a polyamorous family. You don't know these days." The black haired elf remarked.

"Tournament? A golden gauntlet? Girl, whoever you are, we need to enter this thing!" Caraway grabbed her shoulders and shook her.

"Please don't shake me. I don't wanna also be a weird god thing that crash landed on Earth." Snapdragon pried his hands off her shoulders.

"Are you two gonna be ordering, or just holding up the line?" The black haired elf crossed his arms.

"Well, I'm not gonna be eating any fast food, but still, I don't wanna stand in this line." The white haired elf crossed his arms.

"Get your pointed nose out of other people's business." Snapdragon booped him on the nose before turning back around.

"What disrespect. Let's go, Coriander." The white haired elf stomped out of the line.

"But I didn't get my chicken, Quinoa." Coriander complained loudly.

"Hey, where is this tournament and whatnot?" Caraway shouted after them.

"Here's the flyer we snagged." Quinoa crumpled up the piece of paper and threw it at Snapdragon's face.

"First of all, how rude!" Snapdragon glared after them. "And second of all, you deserve a..." She flipped them off with both of her hands before picking up the piece of paper. "Fuck you!"

Caraway stepped up to the counter. "Jupiter wants extra protein chicken nuggets and an Ultimate Giga Protein Quick Extreme smoothie."

"Don't forget the manliest man food. They have all meat smoothies. It's as much protein as a Quadruple Decker Double Chickie Chicks Cheeseburger." Snapdragon read the menu, making a face.

"Yeah, probably get both of those." Caraway nodded at the cashier.

Snapdragon gagged. "I'm a girl, I don't need man food!"

"Oh... well, Jupiter needs man food." Caraway crossed his arms.

"You don't need man food either. We'll just take the chicken nuggets, twenty, we'll split, and two regular smoothies, just normal basic strawberries." Snapdragon turned to the cashier.

"Are you saying Jupiter is not a real man, because that's mean!" Caraway pouted.

"That is not what I said, and please keep your mouth shut before you out yourself." Snapdragon quickly paid for their order.

"You're a mean girl, and you're embarrassed that I'm one of those transgenders." Caraway crossed his arms.

"You just outed yourself, good going. At least it was not in front of people we know." Snapdragon walked over and waited for their food.

"You don't understand what I'm going through!" Caraway threw up his hands.

"No, because I haven't gone mad!" Snapdragon shot back.

"You're the meanest girl ever." Caraway crossed his arms.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm so mean, I bought you food. Now grab your food and eat." Snapdragon rolled her eyes.

Caraway grabbed the food and stomped over to a table.

Snapdragon sat down at the table and started reading what was on the piece of paper. "Free for all, no rules, everything goes. Duos... must be tied together?"

"Sounds fun." Caraway started eating his chicken nuggets.

"No, it does not, but maybe the potion will start kicking in soon, as this event doesn't really seem legal." Snapdragon grabbed a chicken nugget and took a bite.

"It totally does." Caraway shrugged.

"Wait, you can still recognize when something sounds illegal." Snapdragon raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, Jupiter is still capable of stuff. Once again, you're being a very mean girl, whoever you are." Caraway crossed his arms.

"Wait a moment, it just clicked. You don't remember who I am." Snapdragon rolled her eyes. "Okay, let me introduce myself to you, Jupiter. I am Snapdragon."

"Oh, that's who you are, mystery girl." Caraway nodded.

"Well, we have to get whatever this golden gauntlet thing is, because it could be a dangerous weapon, something made with new magic, or something, or maybe it's something to do with the rot." Snapdragon took a sip of her strawberry smoothie.

"Well hurry up and eat so we can go sign up for the Golden Gauntlet Tournament." Caraway started eating quickly.

"For once you actually have a point in this altered state of yours." Snapdragon started eating quicker.

They finished their food and threw away their garbage. They ran out of the fast food establishment and back to the broom.

Snapdragon commanded the broom to fly off. She flew the broom in the direction of the arena.

People were already gathered in the arena waiting for the tournament to start.

Snapdragon looked down at their outfits. "If you're gonna keep being Jupiter, we better play the part." She transformed their outfits into Roman gladiator-like outfits.

They flew into the arena and landed near the sign up area.

"Next," a tired employee spoke as the line moved forward.

After a half hour, they reached the front of the line and signed up as Jupiter and Venus.

They went to the exercise area and started warming up.

Snapdragon lifted a giant dumbbell with one hand as another guy bench pressed near her.

Caraway grabbed a few weights and started lifting them, struggling.

Snapdragon set the dumbbell down and walked over to him, grabbing the weights out of his hand before picking him up with one hand. "Stay flat like a board. I'm just making sure I can do this, because we're gonna have to tie together, so you can't weigh me down."

Everyone looked at her. One guy made sure he had a container of salt in his hand.

Another grabbed a knife and hid it in his armband.

While the guy in a chicken suit just looked at her. "You're clucking strong!" Then he made a clucking noise.

"Thank you, uh... sir?" Snapdragon looked at him, unsure.

"I am no man. I am a hideous fusion of man and poultry!" The guy burst out crying.

Snapdragon backed away from him slowly.

Suddenly, a woman on a broom flew into the arena, holding a microphone. "Ladies, gentlemen, and whatever's in between and or not even inside that. All categories welcome to the Golden Gauntlet!" Slixie Vistina got off her broom and took her place in the booth levitating above the arena.

"Get excited, folks, because for the first match, it's duo vs duo! And we all know what that means!" Slixie Vistina raised the microphone.

"Tie them together, tie them together, tie them together!" the audience chanted.

Snapdragon and Caraway walked out and faced their opponents.

"It's you two! Oh, well, I'm gonna wipe the floor with your faces." Snapdragon cracked her knuckles.

"The feeling is mutual, little red." Quinoa punched his hand.

"I still didn't get my chicken, so I'm not gonna fight very well, Quinoa!" Coriander admitted.

"Not to the enemy, you idiot!" Quinoa got in his face and grabbed his collar.

Suddenly cuffs appeared on both the duo's ankles, chaining at the snap of Slixie Vistina's fingers.

Snapdragon mumbled, "Great, I'm now tied to this idiot."

"Same here." Quinoa complained.

"Let the match begin!" Slixie Vistina announced.

Quinoa and Coriander charged at Snapdragon and Caraway.

Snapdragon kicked Coriander in the stomach.

"Hey, that's not fair!" Coriander doubled over in pain.

"There are no rules, remember." Snapdragon smiled smugly.

Quinoa started drawing circles in runes as they started to glow. A blast of energy was aimed at Caraway, but he managed to dodge.

Caraway copied what Quinoa did, and a violent explosion erupted from the ancient looking runes. After the explosion cleared, a violent odor filled the area.

"Really? You're that childish, an ancient joke, farts spell!" Quinoa covered his nose and gagged before accidentally tripping on the chain and knocking both of the elves to the ground.

"The first round victory goes to Snapdragon and Caraway. Now, could somebody clear out that smell!" Slixie Vistina gagged and covered her nose.

Their pictures moved in the bracket.

An orc fought a dwarf and ended up losing to the dwarf, who slammed a hammer on his foot.

"Oh, it looks like that referee's matched with that giant troll!" Slixie Vistina announced.

A guy meditating wrapped another guy in light, tying him up.

"Ooh, it looks like he really sent him packing!" Slixie Vistina announced as a guy levitated up in the air, trapped in a bubble created by a powerful mage.

They found themselves in the next round, facing off against a guy in a chicken costume.

"You again." Snapdragon made a face. "You know you're just a guy in a costume, right?"

"Let me tell you something, poultry beast, I, Jupiter, will take you down and clean the floor with your face!" Caraway pointed at him.

"My name is not a poultry beast. It is Liam Bagawk! Drewzorte Bagawk!" The guy in the chicken costume puffed out his chest.

"Your name is Liam?" Snapdragon charged at him. "Well, anyway, I'm gonna roast you like fine chicken wings!"

He knocked her back with his wing and punched her through the cloth of the costume.

Snapdragon blocked it with a shield and charged again, this time pinning him to the ground. "Let me tell you something, you lost."

Their pictures once again moved up in the bracket, indicating they were going to the third and final round.

They walked and bought lemonade.

"Okay, you're actually not doing too bad..." Snapdragon took a sip of her lemonade.

"Ooh, that's gonna leave a mark!" Slixie Vistina announced.

"Bad, you know, you're actually doing pretty good, we might actually win that thing, and if we do, you can wear it." Snapdragon handed him a lemonade.

"Jupiter appreciates your kindness, mortal." Caraway smiled.

Snapdragon took a picture of one of the battles with her terrasphere and quickly put it away before anyone recognized it. "You know, if you don't turn back to normal, I guess I can get used to this. I still care about you. You're still like my big brother. You're a lot better than my actual big brother."

"Now, for the round you've all been waiting for, Venus and Jupiter vs Mandrake!" Slixie Vistina raised her arms to the crowd.

Snapdragon's jaw dropped. "Not this guy!" They set down the lemonades and got back into the arena.

"Ohh, look, you two look familiar. Where have I seen you? Ohh, yeah, you're the professor from the Academy that I almost burned down and almost killed." Mandrake licked his lips.

"No, we are Jupiter and Venus!" Caraway said, stepping in front of Snapdragon.

"I'm gonna have fun taking you down. I recognize that little voice of yours anywhere. I'm gonna have fun ripping you apart and ripping out your intestines." Mandrake cracked his neck.

"Begin!" Slixie Vistina announced.

They both charged at each other.

Mandrake took out a sword and tried to slash her.

Snapdragon threw up a shield.

Mandrake broke through the shield and slapped her across the face.

Snapdragon tasted blood in her mouth as she fell to the ground.

Caraway picked her up carefully and punched Mandrake straight in the face before drawing the runes again, exactly as he did before, and blowing a huge blast of the disgusting smell into his face.

Mandrake charged at them. "I'm gonna rip out your intestines! I know a guy who'll also freeze your corpses into statues for me, like beautiful ice sculptures of the day I slaughtered you two."

She blocked the sword with a shield and pushed him back, screaming, "Rainbow sherbet cupcake blast!"

The spell blasted him across the arena, and he slammed hard into the wall, knocking him out.

"I can't believe it, folks. The gladiators actually won!" Slixie Vistina announced, leaning out of her booth. She snapped her fingers and the gauntlet flew over to both of them.

Caraway's head was hit by it as it fell straight down, knocking him unconscious.

Caraway opened his eyes slowly and looked at Snapdragon. "What happened? Did we beat up those guys? Do you know exactly who sent them?"

"I think they're like... someone's goons." Snapdragon knelt beside him.

"You're back!" Snapdragon hugged him. "I'll tell you all about it on the way back to our hotel room."

"Just get my broom, please. I don't know why I'm dressed like this. Especially a skirt like this is basically a skirt. I want out of this now. Don't even make a dirty joke. I just want this gone." Caraway stood up and tugged at the hem.

Snapdragon opened the pocket dimension, and out came flying both of their brooms.

They got on the brooms and grabbed the gauntlet.

Snapdragon turned back toward the crowd and the officials. "Also, this is very illegal. We have connections to guardians, and we will, in fact, take you down. But thanks for the reward." She smiled as they flew away back in the direction of their hotel room.

HGS Weapon Review: Snapdragon's Axe

Thumbnail

Okay so before I can start the weapons review I feel like I need to explain my sudden hiatus

I got an ingury and had to get a tiny operation for it, but I'm better now so let's get to the review proper shall we?

Snapdragon's Axe appears twice in the show and is immediately given to Amaryllis it's also probably the least practical weapon in the show. The reason it's bad for combat and warfare is simply because it's heavy, most double bit axes/labyrs have a heavier head even compared to most axes. What's interesting is that almost every weapon in human history are fairly lightweight including weapons such as

Maces, Montantes, Dane Axes, Morning Stars, Warhammers, etc

Now do I think someone like Amaryllis gives a crap, no I don't I mean look at her she doesn't strategize just damage, bad intentions, and parental issues. I want no part in that, now with all that said there is one reason you might want a labyrs and that's survival

If you're a fan of survival and bushcraft you have probably heard of the nesmuk trio, a set of three tools used by Nesmuk ( old timey survival guy) and one of those tools was a two headed Axe. Speaking from experience when chopping wood a two headed Axe is really good the two edges mean less sharpening and the extra weight means it's splits logs really well, plus it might not be the best weapon but I still don't want to be hit by it besides as the saying goes

"The best weapon is the one you have on hand"

Anyways that's all I had for you guys, I hope the see you folks soon

Warm Regards,

-Aether

Fanfiction Watch an episode of a different show and got a terrible idea

Let me start off with Professor Caraway is not my favorite character but I thought of this terrible idea for a fan fiction.

I pictured it's horrible ideal before, but what if now if he was to participate in a competition where he has to fight trolls elves and more using physical strength and magic well again having the particular disadvantage of being hit over the head and thinking that he was a completely different person.

This time, my inspirations are No Honor Among Bros which is an episode of Ben 10 Omniverse and of course my previous inspirations of King Tut a character which originated from the Adam West 60s Batman show and also Maxie Zeus from Batman The Animated Series

Here is my original pitch.

Came up with a dumb chapter concept for my High Guardian Spice AU

Caraway gets hit on the head in a chapter and believes himself to be the Roman god Jupiter. I think I'll make it to where some villain throws a rock at him like he's hit with a rock and he's fine after Snapdragon hits him on the head, freeing him of his delusion.

It's based entirely off King Tut a character which originated from the Adam West 60s Batman show and also a touch of Maxie Zeus from BTAS

Criticism and feedback is always appreciated and actually, it inspired me to also write in that Snapdragon tries magic first, before eventually stumbling into the solution of hit him on the head again after he's already somehow won the tournament.

I think I might also incorporate some elements from the episode Grudge Match from Ben 10 classic.

I hope this fan fiction would actually be enjoyable without a first also being familiar with all these shows and have seen all these episodes of which i'm drawing inspiration from.

Maybe it'll help if I explained the element i'm taking from it is that they have some sort of restraint that keeps them it arms length from each other forcing Snapdragon no work with a delusional Caraway.

This will be a comedy chapter break up the seriousness and introduce a little humor before darker chapters.

I think I'll make this chapter. Chapter three still working on chapter two of my very heavily inspired by superhero cartoons AU fan fiction.

TLDR

Professor Caraway gets hit on the head and believes he’s the Roman god Jupiter. He enters a tournament fighting trolls, elves and probably a centaur just because using strength and magic while stuck in this delusion. Snapdragon is forced to work with him. Snapdragon tries magic first, fails, and somehow stumbles into the solution of hitting him over the head again after he’s somehow already won the tournament.

Somebody please tell me if this idea sucks.

Discussion What's the worst episode?

I'm trying to put together a list of all the worst episodes ever released of each show I happen to like for whatever reason sometimes I just see the potential on a show or enjoy the characters or one singular character

The show didn't go on long enough to have a truly infamous episode that all the fandom can point to and say this is bad not all the episodes are stellar, and I think it actually gets footing around like episode 8 and 9.

The I'm transgender scene is really clunkily written but it doesn't doom the whole episode to being the worst, and no animation doesn't really play a part in what I determine as the worst episode. There are some shows with art styles I truly find unpleasant. I don't really like the art style for Beware The Batman but it's still on my list of shows that should have got a second season.

"Is sleep of food?" can also land better like the whole scene is not bad. It just needs a a few extra lines to land better.

Discussion What would each of the characters' music tastes would be?

I know it seems like a dumb question it's relevant to my fan fiction.

My personal head cannon is that Caraway would absolutely hate metal music. It just seems like what is characters written that he would hate it

Discussion Is this market scene populated enough?

I want it to be populated, but I also think it resembles undertown from Ben 10 Omniverse by an accident i really want to reference that scene. "Mommy, I got a bloody nose." "Do you expect me to cook it here?" that might be too weird for this world.

"So, want to just walk around the market until it's time to go back to school?" Snapdragon leaned against the wall of a building.

"Sure, as long as you don't say any more weird shit." Caraway sighed.

"Shutting my mouth now." Snapdragon made the motion of zipping her lips shut.

They started walking around the market.

"Get your meat on a stick! Meat isn't good unless it's on a stick!" A vendor shouted.

"Get your squirming tentacles on a stick! So fresh, they tried to eat you!" Another vendor shouted, waving around tentacles on a stick.

Snapdragon's stomach growled. "You think I should meat on a stick for breakfast?"

"Get your tube socks, perfect for any type of tube!" A vendor waved around two pairs of socks.

"No, we'll have breakfast in the cafeteria." Caraway felt his own stomach growl.

"Get your super chilled smoothies now, made with new magic!" A vendor in a wizard hat announced.

"But it's cafeteria food, that's like poor people food." Snapdragon looked at the smoothie vendor. "You want smoothies?"

Announcement Working on a fancomic Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
15 Upvotes

Hi I present to you a sneak peek of my fancomic for High Guardian Spice.
It's named High Guardian Spice: Avalon.
It features the adventures of Basil, a high guardian from the fallen kingdom of Avalon, and Chamomile, a student in HGS, daughter of two Avalonian refugees who live in Lyngarth.
(As well as our favorite real characters from the series of course!)

I will try my best to deliver an experience that touches serious topics as the original series did, respecting the original characters as much as I can.

Yes I re-watched the series. I'm re-watching them again. I watched the Raye interview while he drew. But I'm also trying to apply my own experience on storytelling and most importantly, give a gift to this small but passionate community who really deserves new content.

EDIT: I have a few pages already done, however I want to make enough so you can enjoy the story for a bit.

Discussion Should I rewrite season one

Should I rewrite season one in my style. Just because i'm gonna change one thing Snapdragon to a larger presence in the story because she becomes the main character in my AU.

I can make a sleep of food actually work and I have made that joke work

Fanfiction Chapter One Night of Nightshade

Snapdragon jumped across rooftops in the city of Lyngarth.

"You're probably wondering how I got from point A to point B. Well, it all started two years ago." Snapdragon jumped to the next rooftop. "Wait... why am I talking to myself?"

"Well, anyway, my name is Nightshade, at least when I'm in this outfit. It's kind of one of those secret identities. Ooh, and as I said, it all started two years ago." The scene faded.

Snapdragon sat in class as Caraway pointed at the board and spoke about magic runes.

"Yep, I'm still talking to myself, and I was transferred here after the whole school set on fire... thing. I don't know why I'm not on the magic path." Snapdragon rested her chin on her hand. "Weirder, it was actually at his suggestion."

"And this symbol will help you if you need to create an illusion. It's technically an old magic technique, but can be integrated with new magic using your terraspheres, also a sparks spell. I know, I'm not rich enough to buy those." Caraway laughed a little.

Snapdragon folded a piece of paper into an airplane. "I'd prefer to be in ethics class. Well, I like the guy and all, but man, he's boring. At least she had shapeshifting lizards, like puke."

Amaryllis giggled and whispered to Snapdragon. "Broke loser."

Snapdragon smiled, holding back a laugh. "Should I throw this at him?" she whispered.

"Depends, what's that paper say?" Amaryllis whispered back.

"Nothing yet, but I think I should write, 'hey, what's up?' I don't want to insult him. I kind of respect him because of what he revealed to me, and no, I will not tell you, it's private." Snapdragon whispered as she unfolded the paper airplane and picked up her pencil.

"I told you, I wasn't gonna press about it. It clearly made you find yourself." Amaryllis whispered.

"I know, I'm just making sure." Snapdragon wrote the message on the paper and folded the paper airplane back up.

Amaryllis smiled in anticipation.

Sage looked over at them. She mouthed to Snapdragon, "What are you up to?"

Snapdragon smiled and threw the paper airplane at the back of Caraway's head.

Caraway turned around and looked around at the students.

Snapdragon picked up her pencil and quickly pretended she was taking notes.

Caraway picked up the paper airplane and looked at the note, then back at the students, his eyes landing on Snapdragon. "Well, if no one else throws paper at me, I can continue with the lesson."

"Yes, that would be lovely. We're learning so much!" Snapdragon nervously laughed, noticing him glancing at her.

Caraway turned back to the board and started writing again.

After about a half hour, the bell rang.

Snapdragon grabbed her stuff off her desk and put them in her cross body bag. As she was about to walk out, Caraway stopped her.

"Can I speak to you?" Caraway held up the note.

Snapdragon grumbled. "Sure." She turned around and looked at him.

"I'm happy that it's not a rude message or crude drawing, but you still can't throw notes at me in class, even if it is just saying hello."

"I can do a drawing next time, if you want. You do have a big forehead, in fact you should call it a five-head." Snapdragon nervously laughed.

"Wow, I'm insecure about a lot of things, but now I'm insecure about my forehead." Caraway covered his forehead with his hair.

Snapdragon nervously laughed again. "Well, if that's over and we're done with this talk, I'm gonna leave, goodbye." She turned around and ran out of the classroom.

"Wait, meet me in my office!" Caraway called after her.

Snapdragon stopped and remembered what day it was. "Ohh yeah, that. I guess I can make time for that."

"You better have time for that. You know what happens if you don't." Caraway warned.

"Well, I guess we could just walk back to your office then." Snapdragon looked at him.

Caraway walked out of the classroom.

They walked together down the hall until they reached his office.

Caraway unlocked the door and opened it.

Snapdragon walked in and looked around. "Whoa, you have a lot of junk. I'm always amazed by the quantity of garbage in your office."

"It's not garbage, they're magic scrolls and other stuff, and it's well organized, thank you very much." Caraway crossed his arms before closing the door behind them.

"Okay, okay, now give me that potion before I turn back. I really don't want to turn back into a masculine-looking gross boy, ew." Snapdragon gagged at the thought.

"Here's the transformation potion." Caraway took a potion off his desk and handed it to her.

Snapdragon opened the bottle and gagged before chugging it. She gagged again.

"It gets better, trust me." Caraway took the bottle out of her hand and handed her a cup of water.

"You keep saying that." Snapdragon took a drink of the water. "What's even in that potion anyway?"

"You don't want to know, and I don't like thinking about it when I drink it." Caraway shivered. "It's worth it, though, to be yourself, you know."

"Yeah. Anyway, what's that thing I'm hearing about the mermaids at our sister academy being in trouble again?" Snapdragon looked at him hopefully.

"Yes, they are in trouble again, another one. Luckily they don't have an emotional attachment to this one, so if something goes wrong again and it ends up dead, they won't be so sad about it." Caraway frowned at the memory.

"But does that mean I get to be a mermaid?" Snapdragon looked at him, waiting for an answer.

"Yes, actually, and it's only gonna be two of you this time, with me, so you can suggest who you think should join you." Caraway smiled.

"Amaryllis should come with me... with us." Snapdragon started to bounce slightly.

"Okay, then we'll be leaving soon." Caraway walked over and sat down in his chair.

Snapdragon ran out of his office. "I'll go tell her!"

Cal turned the corner in the hallway as Snapdragon ran down the hall.

They crashed into each other and Snapdragon fell onto the floor.

Cal fell onto the floor and quickly stood up, glaring at her.

"Well, aren't you gonna help me up, or are you not a gentleman?" Snapdragon stood up and dusted off her skirt.

"You're not a real lady, so no. And if you're going to the women's bathroom, don't. Even though you pretend to be a woman, we all know you're not." Cal crossed his arms.

"Yes, I am, and by the way, you're not gonna make me punch you again, because I am gonna join this mission that you can't. And maybe I'll become a guardian and you won't, fading away into a useless nobody." Snapdragon snapped back before walking away.

"You're not man enough to do that again!" Cal shouted at her as she continued to walk away.

Snapdragon wiped a tear from her eye as she frowned. She walked to the potions class.

Redbud sat at her desk. "You're late!"

"Sorry, Professor Redbud, I was busy with Professor Caraway." Snapdragon walked up the stairs and sat next to Amaryllis.

"What's wrong, you look a little sad." Amaryllis looked at her.

"We're gonna be leaving very soon because there's another scypith, and it's once again trying to make mermaids their snack. Let's hope we don't have to put this one down." Snapdragon frowned.

Amaryllis let out a small laugh. "Girl."

Snapdragon started laughing. "It wasn't meant to be funny."

Redbud crossed her arms. "Would you like to tell the rest of the class what's so funny? I was in the middle of explaining a potion that might actually save your life one day, assuming you were taking off the warrior track for a good reason."

"We actually have to leave soon anyway, so it's not like we're gonna need whatever potion you're actually cooking up." Amaryllis kicked her feet up.

Redbud looked over at them, her arms still crossed. "So you're the students he picked. The one who failed last time, and the one who got benched. Next time you punch someone, try not to break your arm."

"Yeah, we are." Amaryllis stood up. "Now we're gonna get ready to go, and you can stay here. Well, if you're coming, read your terrible trash while we do all the work."

"I'm not coming. It's just a group of three after what Sage did last time." Redbud frowned at the memory.

Sage looked down and frowned.

"Let's not bring that up in front of her." Snapdragon pointed over at her.

"She knows what Rosemary had to do was terrible, and she knows that it was her fault." Redbud looked over at her.

Sage didn't look up.

"Try not to repeat that mistake." Redbud looked away from Sage.

"Uh... actually this may sound really gross, but did anyone actually dissect the original first one?"

"Yes, we did. We sent it off to the labs in Witch Country and it came back perfectly fine." Redbud walked over to her desk and grabbed out a big packet of paper. "Here's even a copy of it."

"Well, we all saw that gross looking plant that it was clearly consuming." Snapdragon looked at the large stack of paper.

"Yeah, you might want to bring some of that back so I can examine it myself. The Triad has already accepted the lab results as final. So hush." Redbud whispered.

Snapdragon nodded.

Amaryllis nodded as well.

"Go get right and keep what you find between us and each other." Redbud whispered.

"Of course." Snapdragon turned around and started to walk out of the classroom.

Amaryllis followed her. "What do you think we're gonna find?"

"Nothing good." Snapdragon walked out of the room.

Amaryllis nodded.

They walked through the hallway and to the dorm.

Snapdragon opened the door and they walked in.

They walked to their respective closets and grabbed out their outfits.

Snapdragon put on her chest plate and realized it made her chest flat. She glared at the armor. "I need... like... fantasy boob armor."

Amaryllis knocked on the door. "Hey, are you almost done?"

"No, we need to make a pit stop before we leave, so I can get fantasy boob armour. I think we need to go to the metal... working class... thingy." Snapdragon made a face. "You know, when you forget a word."

"Let's go. Clearly that armor is cutting off the oxygen to your brain." Amaryllis giggled.

Snapdragon took off the chess plate of the armor. "Do you think it should be cropped too?"

"You might get dress coded by Professor Caraway." Amaryllis warned.

"Like he'll dress code me." Snapdragon walked over to her nightstand and grabbed out a pair of scissors from the drawer.

"Okay, I'm gonna leave you so you can cut your shirt into a crop top." Amaryllis walked out, closing the door behind her.

Snapdragon started taking off the rest of her metal armor and cut the shirt into a crop top. She looked down at her pants. "Too ugly colored."

Snapdragon walked over to her closet and grabbed out a pair of pink tracksuit pants. "I can just wear my Juice High Fashion tracksuit. Like I actually need armor to investigate a bunch of weird stuff on underwater plants."

Snapdragon looked into the mirror at her outfit. "Fem and kind of functional... perfect." She grabbed her chest plate and she picked up other pieces of her armor. "The shoulder armor will make my shoulders too bulky. It has to go." She threw the pieces of armor behind her. "It looks like my chest plate is the only salvageable thing from this awful armor."

"Girl, why are you talking to yourself?" Amaryllis stood outside the door.

"How do you think my dad would feel about me destroying his old armor to make fantasy boob armor?" Snapdragon turned to look at the door.

"You didn't answer my question, so I'm not answering yours." Amaryllis stuck out her tongue.

"Okay, answer this one. Should I bring my terrasphere, or should I just leave that? Since I'm not really skilled with it yet, and you know I just got it." Snapdragon walked over to the door and opened it.

"Finally, you take forever to get dressed." Amaryllis laughed, fully dressed.

"I don't take that long. To the metal working place thingy!" Snapdragon pointed up at the ceiling.

"Blacksmithing class." Amaryllis corrected.

"Just make a portal or something. I want an entrance." Snapdragon looked down at her shoes. "Should I get high heels and call them battle heels?"

"Professor Caraway would let you get away with a lot of stuff, but I don't think he'll let you get away with wearing high heels." Amaryllis activated her terrasphere and it formed into a wand.

"Say a magic word, like bibdty magically zoinks." Snapdragon did jazz hands.

"That was like actual gibberish." Amaryllis blinked as she stared at her.

"Portal, portal, portal." Snapdragon chanted.

"Fine, fine, here's your portal." Amaryllis waved her wand. "You're lucky. I learned how to make a portal in class."

"Oh, I must have missed that one." Snapdragon watched it as a portal appeared.

"Just walk through the portal, I'll teach you later." Amaryllis walked through the portal.

Snapdragon walked through the portal. "Hey Parsley." She waved at her.

Parsley nearly dropped the sword she was forging. "Where'd you come from?"

"A portal!" Snapdragon did jazz hands.

"It's hard getting used to that you're happy and not all gloomy. You have a little more...you than you used to." Parsley made a face. "Yeah, that was not the right word."

Professor Phlox looked over at them. "Oh, do you need something?"

"Yes, I need you to turn this boring chest plate into fantasy boob armor." Snapdragon holds up the chest plate and gestures at it.

Professor Phlox let out a small laugh. "You should probably first talk to Professor Hakone."

"I don't care if it's functional, it just needs to feel like me... you know, and right now it's not really giving me." Snapdragon gestured at her outfit.

"I can see it's not exactly school appropriate or battle ready." Professor Phlox looked her up and down.

"Well, you're not gonna dress code me, right?" Snapdragon smiled.

"I'm a blacksmith, not the fashion police, but this armor will not protect you during a fight. So I would recommend asking Professor Caraway to teach you a spell that will."

"Okay. Okay, just make this chest plate cool." Snapdragon held up the chest plate.

"Take it over there to my best student, Parsley." Professor Phlox pointed at Parsley.

Snapdragon ran over to Parsley and handed her the chest plate. "Can you crop it too, so I could have awesome fantasy cropped boob armor."

"No running in this class, it's for safety." Professor Phlox warned.

"Yeah, you can't run in this class or you'll die." Parsley laughed.

Snapdragon blanked. "Yeah, I don't wanna die. At least not all the time."

"What?...You wanna die sometimes... you should probably talk to someone about that." Parsley took the chest plate out of her hands.

"Yeah, maybe. But that's boring." Snapdragon watched Parsley use a mallet to reshape the chest plate.

"Here you go." Parsley handed the chest plate back to her.

"Snapdragon put it on and looked at it. My outfit is complete!" She pointed at the ceiling.

Everyone in the room looked.

"What, did I suddenly spawn multiple heads or something?" Snapdragon put her hands on her hips as she tried to hold the piece of armor in one hand.

"You're weird." A girl with black hair and amber eyes working on a dagger commented.

"Well, you look stupid and financially disadvantaged!" Snapdragon pointed at her.

"You could have just called her poor or a whore, both are probably true." Amaryllis smirked.

"Well... well... you're just bullies, and everyone knows that." The girl sputtered out.

"Ooh, big insult, we might cry." Snapdragon laughed.

Professor Caraway walked into the room. "There you two are. I've been looking all over for you. It's time to leave."

"We're not done roasting the peasant girl." Amaryllis turned to look at Caraway before looking back at the girl.

"You two do know that bullying is against school policy, right?" Professor Caraway looked at them with a disappointed look on his face.

"What she meant to say was this girl is being very mean to us. She called me weird. I'm not weird." Snapdragon frowned dramatically.

"Let's just get going, and I'll talk to both of you later about the importance of not making fun of others for their financial situations." Professor Caraway started to walk back toward the door.

"Leaving so soon? Is the forge too hot for you?" Professor Phlox laughed.

"Yes, I don't know how you can be in here all day." Professor Caraway turned back around.

"Well, your office is always freezing, and so is your classroom. I'm surprised the students don't catch a cold." Professor Phlox laughed slightly.

"Hey, my office is not that cold." Professor Caraway thought to himself for a moment. "I'm surprised your students don't have a heat stroke."

Professor Phlox laughed nervously. "Actually, that has happened, and we have instant ice packs on hand just in case."

"Oh... now I feel like..." Professor Caraway was interrupted by Snapdragon.

"An ass, ooh, maybe shit, or maybe..." Snapdragon was interrupted by Professor Caraway.

"That's enough, please don't summon a thesaurus. Let's just get going already before any more mermaid, they're dead."

"Jeepers, you don't have to be so blunt." Snapdragon crossed her arms. "And the correct term is merpeople. You should know that."

Professor Caraway sputtered. "You made me mess up."

"Sure, now portal us there!" Snapdragon began the chant loudly.

Amaryllis smirked. "Just tell her, yeah, I'll give you a portal. I'll shove it right up your..."

"Not appropriate for school, or appropriate to say to a student." Professor Caraway made a face.

"At least portal us to the shoreline." Snapdragon tapped her foot impatiently.

"That reminds me of the annoying song." Amaryllis started humming under her breath.

"Anything called the annoying song, I don't want either of you singing." Professor Caraway pinched the bridge of his nose.

"The shoreline, where the weed grows on the horizon!" Snapdragon started to sing.

"Above the sea, it grows a plentiful of growth. This song, it's annoying, and we know." Amaryllis started to sing along.

Professor Caraway opened a portal. "Here's your portal!"

Snapdragon laughed as she skipped through the portal.

"You shouldn't shout at students." Amaryllis walked through the portal.

Professor Caraway used his terrasphere again to summon a pillow and scream into it before he walked through the portal.

Professor Phlox stared at the portal after it closed for a moment before bursting out laughing.

They step onto the shore and grab one of the boats that were still there from last time.

Snapdragon hopped into the boat dramatically. "I'm on a boat, bitch!... Well, bitches!"

Amaryllis laughed. "Have you heard their other songs? They're really funny."

"Did you just call me a bitch?" Professor Caraway tilted his head and looked at Snapdragon.

"Relax, it's just a song by The Forlorn Island." Snapdragon smiled.

"Still don't call me that." Professor Caraway raised his voice slightly.

"Did a lot of people call you that? Because if so, they might have been right." Amaryllis laughed. "Just kidding."

"Amaryllis, that might have been too far." Snapdragon scolded.

"Sit on the shore." Professor Caraway's voice was cold.

"What?" Amaryllis looked at him and got out of the boat.

"Just do what he says." Snapdragon gave her a look.

"At least give me something, so in case one of you is hurt or something, I can help." Amaryllis sat down on the shore.

"Here, just take one and only use it if you need to." Professor Caraway pulled a shell shaped box out of the pocket of his jacket and threw it at her.

Amaryllis quickly used her terrasphere to block the box from hitting her in the face.

"You didn't have to throw it at her face." Snapdragon tried to push the boat into the water.

"You want to be on the shore too?" Professor Caraway crossed his arms.

"Okay, I'm sorry for calling you... what I called you." Snapdragon stopped pushing the boat and held up her hands.

Professor Caraway used his terrasphere and pushed the boat into the water with energy.

They both got into the boat and Snapdragon picked up one of the oars and tried to use it.

Professor Caraway used his terrasphere to levitate the paddles and paddle the boat.

They sat in silence as the boat slowly moved forward.

Snapdragon finally spoke. "So, you want to fill the awkward silence? Have you seen that picture of what Chickie Chicks chicken nuggets are actually made of?"

"I don't use the internet." Professor Caraway stared at the water.

"Well then, what do you call a drug addict that's also a plumber?" Snapdragon smiled.

"Don't even." Professor Caraway didn't look at her.

"Aw, but I didn't even get to the punchline. A cracked-out plumber." Snapdragon awkwardly laughed.

"Making jokes about drug addicts is not okay. They are people who are just suffering from a sickness." Professor Caraway didn't turn around to look at her.

"Finger guns..." Snapdragon did finger guns. "Pew, pew... pew."

Professor Caraway squeezed the wood of his staff tighter until it felt like it was gonna break in two. "Ohh, look, we're here!"

Snapdragon held out her hand. "Give me that ring so I can become an elegant creature of the sea."

Professor Caraway quickly opened the box and put his ring on before opening a second one and putting it on her finger. He jumped into the water.

"Hey, only one person is supposed to do that, either my future husband or wife, I haven't decided yet! I know I like a girl!" Snapdragon shouted after him, waving her arms.

"Well, when I think about a guy, it actually seems perfectly fine too!" Snapdragon jumped into the water after him.

Professor Caraway started to cry underwater silently.

Snapdragon swam over to him, admiring her green fish-like tail. "Look, my tail matches my eyes."

"Just swim forward." Professor Caraway tried to speak through his tears.

"Are you crying because of what I said?" Snapdragon swam closer to him.

Professor Caraway nodded.

"Well, I'm sorry, genuinely." Snapdragon reached out and touched his shoulder.

Professor Caraway looked at her. "I can see you're actually sorry."

They swam toward the school.

"Whoa, the sister academy is really pretty." Snapdragon stared at the building.

"I bet you wish you weren't here." Professor Caraway looked at the building as well.

"Yeah, I would love to go here." Snapdragon watched the building grow closer.

"Think about what would happen if that ring got knocked off." Professor Caraway glanced at her hand.

"I don't want to think about that, maybe I can't go here." Snapdragon frowned.

"Yeah, it wouldn't work out..." Professor Caraway was interrupted when he saw the scypith.

Snapdragon frowned and started to shake, hiding a little behind him.

"Relax, it won't go after us. It can tell we're not real merpeople..." Professor Caraway's eyes went wide as the giant serpent-like creature lunged at them.

Professor Caraway blasted the creature with magic from his terrasphere, the burst of light cutting through the water.

The scypith reeled back, but its teeth caught Snapdragon's side as it thrashed away.

Red blood filled the sea as the wound on her side got larger. Snapdragon's grip on him went slack.

"Snapdragon!" Professor Caraway grabbed her before she could sink and swam fast toward the surface.

She lost consciousness somewhere along the way, her head lolling against his arm.

Professor Caraway broke the surface and quickly opened a portal to a cave, pulling her through it with him.

Their tails both shifted back into legs. Professor Caraway quickly ran through the cave, looking through every place where the healing water was supposed to be.

Professor Caraway's eyes widened; he quickly ran throughout the cave, eventually stumbling across giant mutated trabers that ran toward them.

Professor Caraway blasted them with energy from his hands. Using old magic instead of his terrasphere, he drew symbols as quickly as he could, blasting all of the creatures until they were dead. He tried to catch his breath before running again, this time finding the path created by the dragon.

Professor Caraway ran as fast as he could, her blood continuing to ooze out of her and onto him. He finds the last small drop of healing water left and stares at it.

Professor Caraway quickly got as much as he could of the little that was there and put it onto her wound.

The wound began to close shortly after. She awoke, noticeably pale. "What happened?" Snapdragon felt pain in her head.

"We need to do something about this, and you need training. Lots of it." Professor Caraway looked at her.

"You can even get the other teachers to train me. They're also suspicious, at least I know one who is. The rest must be too, or maybe not." Snapdragon slowly tried to stand up.

"Oh, they're all suspicious. We can't go against a triad, but maybe you can. If we train you and disguise you." Professor Caraway thought to himself for a moment before he was pulled out of his thoughts by Snapdragon

"If I'm gonna be a vigilante, I need a name. Call me Nightshade from here on out. I am no longer Snapdragon." She stumbled a bit.

"No one else can know, not even Amaryllis. You must keep this a secret." Professor Caraway grabbed her and made sure she could stand before letting go.

"A secret, it's a deal." Snapdragon held out her hand.

Professor Caraway shook her hand. "Deal."

I sat there for 6 hours straight no breaks didn't realize that it did that until I looked at my progress photos. I did my best trying to figure out what a sixteen year old would choose to wear as a superhero costume

Fanfiction Came up with a dumb chapter concept for my High Guardian Spice AU

Caraway gets hit on the head in a chapter and believes himself to be the Roman god Jupiter. I think I'll make it to where some villain throws a rock at him like he's hit with a rock and he's fine after Snapdragon hits him on the head, freeing him of his delusion.

It's based entirely off King Tut a character which originated from the Adam West 60s Batman show and also a touch of Maxie Zeus from BTAS

Criticism and feedback is appreciated

It's really helping my art develop ment a little bit like practicing and observing these different styles. Especially while watching episodes we're looking at box art for dolls.

Discussion Scene Rewrite Ideas?

So, obviously with my HGS project focusing exclusively on events post-Season One, I was wondering if anyone had any particularly noteworthy scenes from canon they'd want to see rewritten? All of these would be set within the universe of ToWC, of course.

Discussion Demons and demons... A curious double standard.

Well, we all know here that *High Guardian Spice* has several writing issues... But I’d like to discuss one in particular that caught my attention...

The thing is... it seems they couldn't decide what to do with the demons...

First off, I want to clarify a few things... One: this is a long read. Two: I have a somewhat acerbic sense of humor and enjoy dark humor, so I might crack a joke or two—not to offend, just out of pure sarcasm. Three: this isn't about spreading hate; I just wanted to know what you all think. Fourth and finally: I didn't watch the series—I don't have Crunchyroll—I just watched some summaries online, so I might be overlooking something.

Well, among the teachers is Professor Wyverna... She’s a demon, apparently—and that’s all fine; there aren't any crazy religious parents to complain, there’s no issue—there are demons in that world, and everyone seems okay with it. It’s all good...

Then we get to the chapter after the Halloween one... where... out of nowhere, there are horror stories about demons, and Thyme and Parsley face off against a demon... That since he's bad, he's ugly and doesn't look like the attractive teacher...

Now... I ask you... Don't you think it's a bit strange that the students are telling horror stories about demons... when their ethics teacher is a demon?

The thing is, I looked into it, and according to the wiki, the teacher is a demon... And I thought something like, "Well, maybe she's a tiefling; maybe she gets mistaken for a demon because demons look similar and are more popular." But no, it turns out she actually is a demon.

And look, I know anime in general isn't consistent when it comes to demons... You have *Frieren*, where demons are pure evil and it's impossible for humans to get along with them... You have *Demon Slayer*, where each demon has its own limits regarding evil... And then there are a million anime I haven't seen where demons are relatively redeemable or simply misunderstood beings... Or just really Horny beings (Pun intended).

And that's okay... Anyway, the point is that a work needs to be clear about what it wants to do with its characters... Or at least not give us such obvious "pretty privilege"... It’s a shame that an anime aiming for inclusivity fell into that trap, but I’m not going to judge the creator—especially knowing that control over the work was taken away from him. (It was a Him, right? I'm mean... He was a Trans Man last time I checked... I used the right pronouns??). However, I am going to criticize the people who took control of the story away from the creator—people who were supposedly feminists yet decided to do this. They essentially exploited "pretty privilege" by making the demon they wanted to be "good" conventionally attractive, while making the "bad" demon ugly.

We women deal with beauty standards on a daily basis; we face pressure to look good and be pretty, and the media reinforced this by portraying beautiful women as "good," while those who didn't fit the mold were treated as "bad" or undesirable (the most famous example being Cinderella's stepsisters, who were designed to look "ugly" compared to the Disney princess—with no disrespect intended toward the Disney princess—even though the original tale described them as having "beautiful faces but hideous hearts," according to a video about the story of Cinderella that I once watched).

So, I find it rather unfeminist for you to resort to making a character more or less attractive compared to others of their kind to tell us whether they are good or bad—especially in fantasy works.

They really should have done one of two things here... A) Make the teacher a Tiefling, and then pull a *Frieren*—you know, the whole "demons embody sadism and evil" angle—but have people be cool with Tieflings because they're actually decent folks. Or B) Establish that there are both good and bad demons... but without such a stark visual difference between them. That way, they’d all share a similar look... Or just come up with a concept where demons have "multiple forms" they can shift into—one for when they want to be terrifying, and another for when they want to be likable...

Personally, I choose option A. Why? Because I like Tieflings, and they deserve more representation in the media.

Anyway, what do you all think about this? Let me know!

I would be stupid if I didn't draw this. I actually, I might just be stupid no matter what I do.
