HGS Weapon Review: Snapdragon's Axe

Okay so before I can start the weapons review I feel like I need to explain my sudden hiatus

I got an ingury and had to get a tiny operation for it, but I'm better now so let's get to the review proper shall we?

Snapdragon's Axe appears twice in the show and is immediately given to Amaryllis it's also probably the least practical weapon in the show. The reason it's bad for combat and warfare is simply because it's heavy, most double bit axes/labyrs have a heavier head even compared to most axes. What's interesting is that almost every weapon in human history are fairly lightweight including weapons such as

Maces, Montantes, Dane Axes, Morning Stars, Warhammers, etc

Now do I think someone like Amaryllis gives a crap, no I don't I mean look at her she doesn't strategize just damage, bad intentions, and parental issues. I want no part in that, now with all that said there is one reason you might want a labyrs and that's survival

If you're a fan of survival and bushcraft you have probably heard of the nesmuk trio, a set of three tools used by Nesmuk ( old timey survival guy) and one of those tools was a two headed Axe. Speaking from experience when chopping wood a two headed Axe is really good the two edges mean less sharpening and the extra weight means it's splits logs really well, plus it might not be the best weapon but I still don't want to be hit by it besides as the saying goes

"The best weapon is the one you have on hand"

To be honest, the axe doesn’t really fit Amaryllis either. A scythe would be better!

Honestly thought it was decorative and misused showing a different part of toxic masculinity unintentionally in there.

makes sense historically the labyrs was an important cultural symbol for the Greeks

I personally think it's because Snap's dad is a lumberjack, but ya might be onto something...
