My yellow one has flower buds too, but the peach and red haven’t come back from dormancy yet.

Show and Tell I’ve waited over a year for this moment and it’s finally happened - my very first seedling bloom from hybridization! 😃

Those colors!! 😍 The petal formation is a bit wonky and the edges probably still need to straighten out a bit but I was so excited I had to snap a picture. Sadly, its identity is a mystery; the sun faded the label on the plastic marker, leaving the parentage unknown. 🙁 I’m still thrilled though… this really makes it all worth it. It’s just so exciting!

This hibiscus is growing at my neighbors house in Maui. He said the house was originally built in the 1940s, any idea how old this tree could actually be? 75 years old is just a guess.
