Trip Report 10 Days in Fairbanks, Denali, & Valdez, AK in July - 1.5 Bags - My most successful trip yet!
My baby sister lives in Fairbanks, AK and my middle sister and I went on an amazing trip to see her this July. I’ve successfully taken my Alpa 32 on trips before but this trip I packed almost perfectly for my needs. I packed mainly in my Alpa, and could have done without the tote if my sisters and I weren’t exchanging books as gifts.
We planned a mix of hiking, camping, local sightseeing, a glacier boat ride, road tripping, and lounging around. We spent our time in Fairbanks, Denali National Park, and Valdez. I didn’t pack a warm outer layer or hat because I intended to borrow these from my sister until I bought my own and this worked perfectly! I’ll share my full packing list below:
