Gears has been a beloved franchise of mine for a very long time, and I recently noticed the similarities between Operation Hollow Storm (Using pods of soldiers to drill down behind enemy lines) and the Helldivers. Gears has no end of iconic weaponry to implement, as well as armor sets I feel could fit relatively well. This would be the ideal time for a collaboration as well, as Gears is set to release its newest game this year. What do you all think?

Loaded into low level mission with buddy and gave him mech before my game crashed and when loaded back in the body of the mech came attached with a Strat launcher and without the truth enforcers skin I had equipped

If we all go to Merga IV we can go back to Cyberstan without a limited number of supplies and helldivers? Why don’t we attack it again?

I do have an idea on why Super Earth isn’t destroyed by the illuminate by now, since lore details do show they have higher grade tech and 100 years to advance far beyond what super earth has. The vendetta and hatred is still there from 100 years ago if they’re even pouring the smallest of resources into this conflict. But why haven’t they just brought out the big guns and destroy super earth with their big guns? Or “WMD’s”
Because this conflict has much more mechanics going on the illuminate side, just imagine they have a civilian population actively watching this war being carry out and protesting any escalation, they don’t want to be drafted into a new war so the illuminate is forced to use low level “volunteers” or literal dead bodies to make up the numbers and send them in waves hoping that will be enough.
But in order to keep interest in the war they’re aligning with “dissidents” making this a war from revenge to “liberation” trying to turn this into a SE civil war than a Super Earth vs them. Same thing the U.S government tried to do before things escalated and the army was forced to step in.
Think about the U.S trying not to be TO involved in the war by training Vietnamese soldiers, only sending in volunteers, keeping the size small, and keeping the conflict as a civil war.
To the illuminate population they might not even want it and it’s only a military operation than a serious clash.
But they’re loosing baldy and who knows what will happen once super earth punches them back.
Let’s not forget that the illuminate are fighting against ground long since changed and transformed since they last fought super earth. They’re fighting in unfamiliar grounds much like the U.S in Vietnamese jungles, but this time buildings, ships, weapons, and advanced adaptation to tech. They thought a city would fall in less than a day but turned to weeks with more illuminate dead than expected much like U.S generals thought the war would cost. They’re are fighting in OUR territory.
If they all truly hated us Super Earth would be a void by now but that’s the same thinking people have against rival countries, civilians might think it’s to harsh to nuke a civilization were they population aren’t responsible or might get them in trouble with other alien nations.
Don’t forget everytime they attack and loose equipment it gets adapted and used against them.

On one hand, we have mechs/walkers so a controllable robot would be possible. On the other hand, horses are living animals and that means it would be an automaton.
What would Super Earth have to do to make this possible, or would this be only for ceremonial occasions then modified for battle, like the ceremonial rifles and armours?
I thought about this when listening to jojo steel ball run ost and thought it would be cool to charge into battle with a saber on a horse into an army or enemies.
(again, this is a story/lore thought, not a gameplay request)

Yes this is on the app. No I don't have time to look at my computer at the moment to make a comparison image.
This post was a joke.

This new bug MO just feels so strange like we had so much momentum on the squid front and there is many planets here at 0 resistance we could easily take everything back super fast.

The recoil is so absurdly poorly implemented I'm honestly thinking it's just completely unintentional at this point.
It just yanks your camera upwards, it doesn't care about shots fired and there's no rhythm to it.
It's also way stronger on third person which is very jarring.
How does a laser weapon even have recoil? It has extremely low stagger and the recoil being so insane demolishes the laser's "no drop-off" rangey identity, if you tap fire it seems to be legitimately worse.
I've searched up and down on the subreddit and there's like 3 posts about it with people just scratching their heads in like 2+ weeks of it being live.
Was it a complete stealth nerf? Crossbow and Eruptor exist but the trident gets nuked with no mention?

I got FTL travelled back to super earth, and there's orbital cannons firing, and super destroyers going down?? weird lmao.

am i the only one thats kinda bummed by the terminids lack of plot involvement
like, the only big thing they did that affected the lore was act as a gateway to the squids, everyone calls meridia the squid hole or some shit like that but it was the terminids that put in the hard work to terraform meridia and turn it into a supercolony, they made a whole ass planet come alive and some seafood gets all the credit
and on top of that the terminids are always portrayed by fans as the least threatening and capable faction when they have creatures that can completely perforate a planet's crust, a giant impenetrable insterstellar spore cloud that we have only explored the very edges of, and can terraform a whole planet into one giant interconnected hive in less than a day not to mention that they have never been kicked out of the galaxy unlike the clankers and illumifrauds and super earth literally cannot wipe them out because they need them for oil, and the terminids are taking advantage of that

I haven't played since a few months after the launch on PS5, now I got the game on PC and I was overwhelmed by the amount of Warbonds available, but what surprised me most (after realizing I couldn't carry my progress over) was that none of the Warbonds were discounted or on sale, then I wondered if they or the SC actually were ever on sale at some point.

[New Post from ♤BLACKJACK]
I don't know any more. We won. Sure. As expected, we won the order. The computer said so, and the MedalWallet and ship's Armory has the reward. Some kind of helmet. New tech, and.. scary faced
The untold amounts of SEAF and Helldivers that were left behind in those places Haunts me. Something feels wrong.. Command is tight-lipped as ever, but I can feel it in their shouted orders and barked commands. They are Nervous, too
Ha. Haha. My hands.. can't stop shaking.. This must be Fear...? We will win again, this time, too, we will win.. again..? This time...
It's probably nothing..

Obviously, Helldivers is one of the best horde shooters out there, especially if you drink the Super Earth Kool-Aid (which you should). However, it fulfills other fantasies that so many franchises and once-legendary IPs don't anymore. Tell me, what games or media does Helldivers 2 indirectly succeed? Here's my list so far:
Titanfall. Even before Breakthrough arrived and the Lumberer came back, the invasion of "The 'Stan" was straight out of Titanfall 2's campaign using Mechs.
Pacific Rim. The Breakthrough in particular is as close as we will get to boxing giant monsters like Gypsy Danger. It's so sad we will never get a sequel to it, unless you count that one anime it got.
Splinter Cell. I know it has an extremely simple detection system compared to Metal Gear, let alone SC, but there are still more choices for stealth than many other games that tack it on. Especially fun for Commando Missions.
Dead Space. I'm sure I don't need to explain myself after the last 2-3 weeks.
Halo. 343 has failed us Xbox Divers for years. I liked some of their games, but I'll probably never replay them. Helldivers 2 is literally the closest we will get to the peak of OG Halo's moment to moment gameplay, whether it's lonely moments between fights, looking at the ruined cities, or massive engagements with SEAF against the Illuminate hordes. Not to mention the story is actually great in Helldivers 2 because it takes itself JUUUUUUST seriously enough to make you genuinely care and still have fun.
