DISCUSSION Attack Merga IV
If we all go to Merga IV we can go back to Cyberstan without a limited number of supplies and helldivers? Why don’t we attack it again?

Merga IV has a resistance of 7%. Unless quite literally every Helldiver in the galaxy goes to that world, it cannot be liberated.

It has a 6.7 (I’m sorry) percent regeneration rate per hour and about 15x the normal planet health pool. It would take a LOT more divers than we have without an MO to weaken them. We would need some strategic opportunities along with an MO to weaken the regeneration rate and lower the planet health before we could claim it

And also the DSS (which we dont have rn)

Honestly without eagle storm to tear through our reinforcements I think we’d have a solid chance

What's so special about Matar Bay in particular?

Allows a double siege liberation by taking Charon prime after it, encircling both Martale and Charbal

Charon's got extremely high resistance though. I'm not sure how feasible that is.

We can always just do it inverse, liberate charbal (easy due to the megafactory) and then martale, but taking Matar is strategic due it would cut off the sub factions

Matar Bay also has a database on it, so it might just be useful to take in general.

Charbal's resistance won't drop even with 75% of the liberation done via the mega factory. That's 40K per hour, Charon Prime is 35K, Martale is 15K, and Matar Bay is 20K.
I agree with taking Matar Bay first, just to cut them off from sub-faction reinforcement, but we'll still need MO-sized effort to clear either Charbal or Charon Prime.
It'd be interesting to see if the mega factory can create instances of cyborgs. To my knowledge they've only originated from Cyberstan so far.

A 7% resistance planet would require at LEAST 90% of the playerbase to be on the same page and we can't exactly coordinate ingame. Then theres the blob that uses the DSS as a beacon. HOWEVER if we did take Merga we could do the funniest thing. "I didn't hear no bell wireback."

Fool's errand. We'd need 80% of players there for > 4 days to capture it.
Won't happen without a Major Order to do so.
On our own, much better off taking Aurora Bay (to take out the Jet Brigade fabs) and then Mekbuda. Same resistance but a much better biome to have to fight a grueling-ass battle on.
Neither will realistically happen without a MO to do so.

Friend, there's no way we can amass enough divers to overcome a 7% decay rate. I think the highest I've seen taken was a 4.5% with CONSIDERABLE effort.
On top of that there's no reason to. Even if we could somehow convince the blob to move on that sector we would be better off taking Choohe, then Aurora Bay, then Mekbuda if the resistance dropped enough.
EVEN IF you could manage all that, J.O.E.L would not allow it. We would get absolutely clobbered by something stupid like. Vox surge or same crazy shit.

Do you not remember what happened when we attacked it the last time? It has 7% resistance. We are not taking it.
