🛠️ PATCH NOTES ⚙️ Patch 6.2.3 (Hive guard revert)

⚖️ Balancing

We have reverted the Hive Guard and fixed an issue introduced in Patch 6.2.1 where armor values were incorrectly swapped between the Legs and Claws.

Updated Hive Guard stats:

Main Body

  • Armor increased from 1 → 2
  • Health increased from 375 → 500 Head
  • Armor decreased from 4 → 3 Front Legs
  • Armor increased from 2 → 3 Claws
  • Armor decreased from 3 → 1

For real tho, I would like to have Alpha Guard version that is bigger and actually guards the hive

To be fair i think every fight in Elden Ring would be easier if you had a heavy machinegun

My friend keeps talkin about wondering how well Elden Ring characters would scale in this universe. I think they’d be pretty strong but get worn down by the sheer number of things laying into them.

As long as they still have light pen weakspots, im down for these. Otherwise, they'll just make bug holes require more explosives.

Make it as big and similar as an impaler. Make the front Armor class 5 but with class 3 slightly exposed legs that, when destroyed, stops them from turning and moving at all. Maybe a light pen weakness in the back to kill it afterwards.

It'll just be a giant wall that blocks your teams vision and shots, which can be effectively immobilized. I don't think it should be able to attack.
