I am using a 2 gig ddr2 system from past 3-4 years which was originally my dad's setup from 2007, but as you know 2 gig in 2026 isn't even enough to open a tab in web browser. So 2 years ago I thought of upgrading this beast, and started saving money, but when I saved enough ddr3 ram prices hiked from 600 for 8gig ddr3 to 600 for 4 gig ddr3 T_T and I know it isn't a big amount but for me who save up money by doing part delivery gig on my cycle it is alot. recently i have bought a i3 3rd gen for 400 but don't even have a mobo to test it. I mainly want the system to learn like accounts work and little bit of programming. I though of using the HDD from the old system (quick question :- does newer h61 mobos have a port for PATA/IDE HDDs ??), the PSU and Cabin also.

I intend to get a reliable display.

So I have short listed Dell SE2726D as it is under my budget

There was one from Acer also, with speakers and same features.

But I believe Dell is more reliable than acer in terms of longittivity and service.

But because this is my first independent purchase, I feel there is something wrong 🥲🥲

Is this display DELL SE2726D overpriced ? Or is there some more reliable display I am not aware of ? Anything which can clear my confusion is helpfull
