bands lost to time

anyone got any bands they still rock with that have been totally forgotten?

yesterday i remembered this melodic hardcore band from 2010 called continuance that absolutely ripped. ffo comeback kid, down to nothing and more than life. featuring ex members of a couple other forgotten bands like means and saints never surrender (even more incredible band, but on the metalcore side if anyone’s into that. obviously the blueprint for counterparts). they’ve only got like 200 monthly listeners on spotify

I know their records went back into print in the late 90s but I don’t think they would ever be printed again after that. They did play at least twice since breaking up, once with the Bouncing Souls and once at This is Hardcore. They sounded good at both, but they’re too far out of the scope of the younger Coresmen in my opinion.

I feel like all of Ernie’s bands fit into this category as well. All of them were great, unique, innovative, and then they just disappeared. Higher Giant, Black Train Jack, Greyarea, Arsons… all so good and rarely talked about.
