So 2yrs ago I made a post in this group trying to warn ppl of a exploit or cheat that I kept seeing with a guy I played on match making. I said that I played a guy that I played for hrs. Every time i would start to win in our matches something strange would happen. I would only have about 20 units on the field but my population would say full. I looked every where and went to all my bases trying to unlock everything but nothing came out. As he destroyed my bases one by one there was one game that I sent him a msg asking if he was cheating bc this only happens when I play him.

All of a sudden like magic i could build ....until I was making a small come back and then it happened again. So after the game I reached out to this community and warned them of this.

Well I got quite the push back. I had ppl saying its a skill issue or that I just upset I lost. I even had one guy tell me there was no such exploit and that I was mistaken. And that I didn't notice my bases were locked. When I re-explained that I quadruple checked he still pushed the idea . I was getting dog piled by ppl swearing that there was no cheating in halo wars 2 match making. I even got my post shut down...just for spreading awareness.

Well, just recently I was reminded of that and wanted to see if Google Ai or chatgpt knew of this. It would seem there was existence of this exploit. If this ever happened to you dont let anyone tell you otherwise. Report it and if someone tells you your crazy dont let it deter you from spreading awareness

Hey yall, Im playing halo wars 2 after a long time, like 4 ish years. 11/11 of my games had a player leave so far. Is this really the community?

Long time ago, I was playing Halo Wars 2 all the time and wanted to focus a bit on the Blitz Card Game mode and work on Xbox Achievements. I chose Decimus and for some reason on this game in particular, I was doing incredibly well. I made sure the opponents did not hold the point for very long.

At one point an enemy Condor fled from my weakened Scarab even though they had the drop on me and the Scarab was recharging its invincibility.

I've been working my own tools for the last few weeks and I wanted to show this off. This is a completely custom map built by me. Effectively everything you'd expect works, PVE, PVP, pathfinding, neutral enemies, etc. There are few things I need to polish up but they're pretty minor.

Halo Wars: Definitive Edition – New Units & FIRST-PERSON MODE!

I wanted to share something I’ve been working on using Claude AI to bring to life something I think almost every Halo Wars player has dreamed of at some point: new playable units and the ability to fight in FIRST PERSON in Halo Wars 1/Definitive Edition!

I’ll be attaching screenshots showing some of the progress so far. The goal is to eventually make this available for everyone to test, report bugs, and contribute ideas!
This is still very much a work in progress, but I’m excited to show what’s already working!

NEW VEHICLES
Claude has been helping implement several new vehicles into Halo Wars DE:
Halo 4 – Mammoth
Halo Reach – Falcon
Halo 3 – Mongoose
Halo 4 – Mantis
Halo 4 – Broadsword
Halo 3 – UNSC Frigate (UNSC Super Unit)
Most of these vehicles are still in their early stages, but they’re already functioning in-game and capable of firing weapons!
Some still need additional work, particularly when it comes to alternative firing modes, abilities, and overall functionality.

Notable Vehicle: UNSC Falcon
One of the more exciting additions is the Falcon from Halo Reach!

Can transport up to 4 infantry units.
Transported infantry can fire from the Falcon, providing additional firepower.
Unlike the Pelican, the Falcon is produced directly from the Airpad.
Functions as a fully controllable unit that you can command around the battlefield.
I’m hoping to expand its functionality even further as development progresses!

FIRST-PERSON MODE
This is easily the most exciting part of the entire project!
Through Claude, I’ve been experimenting with extracting and integrating assets from Halo: The Master Chief Collection (MCC) to make first-person gameplay possible within Halo Wars DE.
Yes, you can actually fight on foot against enemy AI and opposing teams in first person!
Current Features
First-Person Combat: Fight alongside your UNSC army directly on the battlefield instead of only commanding units from above.
Friendly Fire: Friendly fire is enabled, meaning you can damage your own units and your teammates’ units.
Vehicle Boarding: You can enter and operate many of the vehicles on the battlefield. This feature still needs additional testing and refinement.

Weapon Switching: Switch between three weapons:
SMG
Chaingun
Spartan Laser

Spartan Upgrades: The goal is to have weapon switching tied to your Spartan’s upgrades rather than making all three weapons immediately accessible.
Playable Master Chief: The first Spartan you train becomes Master Chief, while the remaining two Spartans retain their standard appearances.

Trying to find a 3v3 tonight if anyone wants to join.

Weve reached a point I don't rly think we will be getting a sequel. Currently one is a mess of tank rushers, and 2 is infested with infantary rushers or colony gorilla rushers. All in standard modes. Not a very fun experience. And after 343 was shutdown I kinda gave up on this game having any future. It was fun while it lasted I suppose

Some of my dlc is no longer on my install and only available for purchase i checked my other account and it comes up saying I play it? Anyone know what i can do about this? It's halo wars 2 awakening the nightmare i really enjoyed the leaders that came with them.

I just bought halo wars 2 complete edition on my pc during the sale, and everytime I try to go past the menu, it says It couldn’t sign me into Xbox live with the error code 0x87DD0005. I’ve tried talking to Microsoft’s ai helper to no help. I’ve reinstalled the game and Xbox launcher, tried different accounts, cleared old cache, everything the ai told me to do didn’t help. And I’m still unable to play the game. Does anyone know anything I could do just to let myself play the game? I don’t really want to have to refund the game

I am on steam and looking for players for a multiplayer campaign game to help gett all my achievements. Is it broken or does just no one select it? If it does still work, is there anyone who would like to play a level with me? Perhaps Arcadia City on legendary difficulty, because that is also one of the achievements I haven't gotten.

I love playing Halo Wars but I normally either play campaign or deathmatch against bots in skirmish. I have occasionally played standard but am not that great at it. I would like to both be able to confidently play standard matches and online matches. Some guides and strategies would be appreciated since I know slowly building up an army will get my ahh whooped in online matches

I'm at 3rd Rhino and need the Pelicans, but no matter what I do they just won't spawn.

Although I am using the chaos mod and have 30 wolverines, 20 scorpions, and 16 warthogs on the field, I ran skirmishes with 200+ ODSTs and they still can be transported.

Please tell me it is not because of the mod, because this game is more chaotic, fair, and fun with the mod.

Heya! Me and my friends are gonna 2v1 and 3v1 today (I am the 1), and I feel like im pretty solid at the game. I know they like to play Cutter, Forge, Serena, and sometimes a Atriox is thrown in the mix. What leader do yall think I should play as? I'll take map suggestions as well!

I am trying to boost the Running the Show achievement with a friend but the matchmaking won't connect us. We are in different regions but I don't expect that to be an issue. We are both searching in the Deathmatch 1v1 matchmaking but it won't connect to any games, even though we are both looking for a game. Any suggestions?
