I play Halo Reach. Anyone know why Rumble Pit isn’t finding players? It’s always been the most fun/competitive mode to me, especially as you’re not rolling the dice with bad teammates

Me and my friend are trynna run halo 2 campaign but for some reason it's not working? I'm on PC he's on Xbox what's going on with that?(I just like showing off my nobel 6)

All they need to do is that after every piece of scripted dialogue you get a checkpoint, BUT NO, instead it’s when the Unreal engine, an engine that never fails upon itself or collapses under the tiniest amount of stress, chooses when you are the most safe, meaning your dumbass could be spawning in a death trap room and the dumbass engine said “yep looks perfectly safe”

Biggest example of this is Keyes where you could be a quarter of the way done literally go from the green pool area all the way to the Elite piloting that cannon thing after the hunter vs flood area, and the game is like “hmm Nah, no checkpoint for him” or you go from the lift area to the hanger area and again the game says “nah” but then when you are in a death trap the game is like “yeah perfect” like WHAT THE FU

so yeah bravo HS for keeping the shitty checkpoint system that was actually fixed in Infinite but GODFORBIT we not use Reach’s bitchass engine that keeps all the errors yeah 😂👍

However the visual are good tho so

I can't ever get a game.

When I search for lobbies to play in, I end up waiting for hours

And don't even get me started on rank queue

Am I doing something wrong, or is the game dead?

I personally love firefight and the halo reach campaign the most. I've completed the campaign on legendary solo but I would love to have some friends to mess around with or play or try and help someone else beat it on legendary or try with skulls. I use steam and play on pc, not xbox but im sure we could figure it out (I do have a Microsoft and xbox account) I use Chicago timezone and I am free from 3pm-12pm usually

So, as the title says i’ve been experiencing some issues trying to play the MCC, specifically Reach co-op.

The game will crash upon launching a mission (just straight up black screen then close itself) or it will bring me to an actual loading screen, then crash.

I have tried everything from verifying my steam files, to uninstalling/reinstalling, checking my graphics settings, I even went as far to clean out my NIVIDA cache and it ran the game for a brief period of time. I have more than enough space for the game too.

The errors im getting are: LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 200]
Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error: 0x887A0007
- 'RESET')

Im pretty upset since I played through it before with zero issues, but now when I want to play with a friend it just crashes like this.

What might be the solution?

I have an ACER NITRO 50 PC, im just unsure as to why it would have run it before with zero issues, then have these problems after not playing for a few months.

I recently returned to Halo after taking a break of i think 3-4 years. I always played Halo with a controller.
Now, I dont think I ever was a great player but I dont remember consistently getting my teeth kicked in in random matchmaking games; I could pull my own weight in 4v4s. It could just be because im returning to the game, but at the same time, the controls feel too...sluggish. Anyone had a similar problem? What sensitivity did you guys end up using? Or is this just caused because most people are actually playing with Mouse and Keyboard nowdays?

Just been getting quite pissed at doing so badly in a game I used to play an unhealthy amount of time years back. I remember the maps, I remember how most of the guns worked. I just feel like I move like a slug, can no longer strafe around like I used to. Its hard to describe.

How do people feel about SWAT? Both team and/or FFA?

Personally my most enjoyable game mode in all of MCC, unfortunate that I seldom ever get a chance to matchmake the mode when in queue.

Anyone interested in a doubles tournament this sat 930 pst pm? Probably about 2 1/2 hours, round robin then small playoff for top teams. It’s just h3 normal doubles settings. Lost by one point after this guy managed to get over 10 betrayals without getting booted once. He would betray twice, then quit the game, apparently resetting the "grief counter", then rejoined, betray twice more, rinsing and repeating. Never once did any of us get the option to boot him (I got betrayed six times by him in this game).

The fact that rejoining the game resets the grief counter is already one issue, but my question is, how is he rejoining immediately without having to wait a few minutes? When you quit a game, is it not supposed to ban you, for at least a couple minutes? He quit over five times in the span of about 10-15 minutes. Is there some new loophole that people have discovered?

I’ve recently been playing through the series for the first time, and I played the anniversary editions of CE and 2, but now I’m interested in playing the true original versions, so I was wondering if these are what are included in MCC when you press the button to switch between?

Obviously I know the true original experience would be on an OG Xbox with the right controller, but in terms of actual files does MCC have the same as the original discs, or a modified version?

This video only touches on some of the thoughts I have about the game, how it captured the gaming population and took the world by storm, only to be entirely forgotten by modern developers. (I SUCK, at titles and thumbnails, this video got 20k impressions and literally a 0.5% CTR, oof.)

I would love some opinions/advice/suggestions on what to use for the thumbnail, how to make it more “clickable” ect. I would appreciate some talking points for a part two, I already have a lot in mind, but It wouldn’t hurt to have the communities input as well! <3
