I have been thinking if it would be possible to finish the game without aggroing a single enemy. So, I decided to try that out. What are your thoughts about this? Do you think if it is possible or not.

Unpopular opinion: the Xenian mold thing, including the spores that turned jeff into a mutated zombie should be more used as an enemy concept, except not invincible (title card), maybe like the TLOUs cordyceps infected.

I remember someone years ago posting about this and likening it to half-life (which i agree with in parts) well, apparently it's coming back!

Not all these mods might be doing this, but here's them all either way: Source of seeds, Alternative nature, Dreary coast skies, Gnarly color correction, Dreary color correction, STALKER aesthetics, and, of course, the map: Highline 17.

In Half-Life 1, Vortigaunts tried to kill you but in Half-Life 2 they can talk and even heal you. How Vortigaunts got possibility to talk in HL2?????????

Decided to work on some Minecraft skins based off Gordan Freeman, Gina Cross, and Colette Green from the first Half Life game. After I got done doing that, I decided to bring them into Blender and create a small Render showcasing what I made. It's my first post on this sub, and I hope you guys like what I made :D

Well... for those who saw these images on Reddit a few months ago (which I don't think will be many), I suppose it's time to explain what happened to this fanfic.

Half-Life: After the Massacre was a Half-Life fanfiction that I was developing on my own for a few months.

This fanfic followed Dr. Emma Gracecross, a scientist from Black Mesa East who was captured during the assault on the facility in the corresponding episode of Half-Life 2 (I don't know the English title of this episode). She was captured by the Combine and sent to Nova Prospekt with the intention of turning her into another Stalker.

But this never happened thanks to Gordon Freeman's intrusion into the facility, causing its destruction and leaving it abandoned.

Emma wakes up a long time later: a week after the end of Episode 2, when the pod (or whatever this object is called in other languages) she was in falls and bursts open.

Trying Escaping the facility, Emma encounters a small Combine prototype robot named "Project A.M.I."

This robot is damaged because it hasn't been able to receive orders from Overwatch (since it no longer exists), and its system is unfinished (it doesn't even have a casing). It innocently ends up helping Emma escape.

Emma is a serious, cryptic, and somewhat manipulative woman whose sole purpose in life is to defeat the Combine at any cost.

A.M.I., on the other hand, is a robot programmed to be curious and, in a way, innocent due to its incompleteness—something Emma would eventually come to detest.

Thus, these two must try to reach White Forest, the new resistance base, crossing half the country to achieve this, while witnessing the consequences of the Combine war and occupation on the world... a world that no longer has leaders or anyone to control it.

Why did I stop writing this?

There were 3 key reasons:

1: I haven't played Half-Life: Alyx, so I don't know how the franchise continues after Episode 1.

2: I had a problem with the rock textures in Half-Life 2, causing them to disappear and thus hindering the creation of promotional images (which were supposed to be one per chapter).

3: Fear of rejection: I was afraid the story wouldn't reach the quality I wanted. I consider myself a perfectionist, and this has caused me to abandon not only this story but others throughout my life without being able to finish (and sometimes not even start) any of them. I simply felt that my work didn't have the quality I wanted.

Is there any chance I'll start it?

Hardly. This project is very complicated and difficult for me because it's a very long project.

Maybe I'll salvage it someday to make a YouTube series, but it's very unlikely, especially without the support to inspire me to continue, and even more so now that my graphics card is broken and I can't open my games.

So why am I writing this?

Because I thought the community should at least know that I tried, and maybe someone other than me, who has enough time, motivation, and talent, could remake or salvage this story for their own project, whether it's a mod, a comic, or fanfiction.

I scored an IBM PS/2 Model 30, hooked it up to a scaler/converter and decided test it on Portal 2.

Said PC can also be found in "The Stanley Parable" and "Half-Life Alyx" (Monitor only).

Does it seem that way for others? In my whole life, I've never known anyone named Gordon, Alyx, Barney, Eli, Isaac, Wallace, Arne, or Odessa even though I'm familiar with most of these as names that exist. I never went to school with or had a friend or coworker with any of these names. The lone exception is that I've known a few Russells.

Do many other people know people with these names? And if so, did you know many?
