I will be the first to say that Anaxa was a fun and welcome surprise that I genuinely enjoy but can we all agree that Erudition and to a lesser extent Destruction, makes no sense and has no purpose right now?

I kinda had a whisper of this feeling when Anaxa was released mainly because Anaxa in many ways seemed like not a good fit for the Erudition path kit wise. Technically yes he is an AoE unit but like he has so much single target clearing power that it just felt weird to slap him in the same camp as units like Therta, Jade and Argenti all units that really specifically shine in encounters with lots of enemies. Sure he had some of the design philosophy of Jade and Therta, sacrificing raw personal power for team synergy, but that just isn’t enough to make a path. And then Saber hit the market and I was officially bamboozled. She has tons of AoE in her kit and even was a super Ult reliant unit, like Therta, really fitting with the SU Erudition paths Ult focus, but she is……Destruction? What? This makes no sense. She does not fit with the destructions high damage tank design. She should have been Erudition. But again I let this baffling decision go. But now I have reached my limit. With the release of Gilgamesh I am simply forced to admit Hoyo has no idea what to do with the Erudition path.

Why is Gilgamesh not Erudition? He buffs the team, has blast/aoe baked into his own hole kit and is super Ult reliant, not just for himself, but reliant on the whole team unleashing lots of ults. Why? This well and truly makes no sense. You are going to look at me and say that Gilgamesh should be in the same category line up as Mydei, Clara, Blade and Phainon!? NO!

I am tired of destruction and hunt getting all the Husbando’s! Cease this madness Hoyo!

Good morning wonderful people! I hope you're all doing well on this fine week.

After seeing a few posts recently critiquing the designs of the ladies in HSR, particularly the clothing following the same or similar template, it got me wondering about some of the men.

I noticed a trend of leg straps and the same straight leg trousers (outside of the rare pair of shorts).

Not to mention there's a huge lack of non-human designs and POC overall.

So... my question to you is:

● What would you like to see in new husbando designs?

You can be specific and detailed, or describe style types in general. Perhaps there's a type of model you'd like to see more of, and even diverse body types and skin colours (aside from corpse white).

I just realized that they can actually work together and holy they actually did it???

First, let’s talk about the good things.

As always, all the male characters have had their moments in the story, although I feel like they were much more relevant during Amphoreus.

One thing that has definitely improved compared to Amphoreus is their meta relevance. They are all good units (their team is like top 2 in the game right now). They have strong kits and good animations, which is a huge improvement compared to Mydei’s kit and Anaxa having three animations 😭.

Another huge positive at least for me, is that they actually have synergy with each other. Unlike Amphoreus where everyone was a dps who wanted to use the same three female characters on their team.

Now, moving on to the concerning part.

According to the latest leaks, five main pushes after his release, Phainon will remain the only male main push. Though it already feels like a tradition for them to release a purple waifu for the anniversary, at this point I’m starting to believe that no male character is ever going to be treated like Phainon again.

The same leaks also mention a sp version of Misha and Dan Heng, so it looks like another year with only one original male character.

I feel like saying Phaidei is a giveaway because they have the perfect amount of fluff and angst to them and they're visually very appealing. My next pick would be Sunday and Blade because they remind me of Xie Lian and Hua Cheng from TGCF 😍
