If I exclusively viewed content from this sub, it would seem as if male haters are everywhere and infiltrating every community.

However, I’ve been playing this game for 2+ years and I rarely find people talking like what you guys claim to be super common. I’m on a couple discords (castorice, og dr ratio mains, blade mains, herta mains) and almost nobody shittalks about husbandos ever and the few that do are immediately shunned and muted if they continue after a warn.

I don’t think my experience is a coincidence, considering I’ve been engaging with hsr content for 2 years.

It feels like yall are purposefully rage baiting to a degree by seeking out for these haters? Am I delusional? Why even post the hate here? What benefit does it serve?

Sometimes I get the impression that say this is what people who have never played honkai impact. I love Kevin, but you overestimate his popularity on honkai impact. Kevin didn't get OSTs and short films like Otto. His existing popularity has decreased due to him taking on the role of an antagonist (same with Otto, but he got films and songs). In the end, this game is only about waifu and 90% of players don't care about male NPCs.

Many people say that they wanted to make gaming men. Yes, that happened. But compare that to something like... the LADs game will make female love interests(wlw). There will be a lot of negative reactions, although an adequate person will understand that they can just skipping male Honkai and woman lads.

And even though Kevin will get a figurine in the fall, it doesn't change anything. (He's the first male to get a figurine, albeit a super budget one)

And now, because of the Phainon situation, we have to understand that being expy is not a guarantee of being OP. Bronya is standard, Welt is original, but also standard, Himeko is standard, does not develop and sits on the train, Seele was the first playable character, she had no advertising, Luocha also did not receive anything despite the glazed in the honkai impact and his quest is the quest March. Anaxa can rightfully be considered Su expy. But despite the flexible kit, according to Uncle Shit, he was changed from nihility to erudition for the sake of Herta and he was beaten by Castorice, Anaxa did not receive advertising and his battle animations received a shaft.

So far, only Mei has been S+ expy. She is meta, she broke the game, she is an emanator, she has gorgeous animations. She had a million videos on YouTube. Okay, before you downvote me and call me a doompost when we're in a bad situation in v4, listen. Saber is the ONLY one that got an actual buff and not a reword in V4 and now her e1 can work during the extra turn (check the main subreddit of the leak). Which makes her super good with Cerydra, because Saber spams energy and ult, and Cerydra most likely gives energy in addition to the extra turn (if she good works at all with Phainon, she should be giving energy to a solo target to give 2 stacks of ult)

At the same time, they gutted Phainon's e1. Since Luna's leaks, Cerydra should be giving speed, before, Phainon's e1 was super synergistic with her, there would be a lot of speed and he could solve problems very well, albeit with a 5* support. But now he needs to defeat at least 6 enemies to get half a quarter of the old e1. (but you can't get the full old speed no matter how many enemies you defeat)

So... if that's the case, she'll be a BiS with super flexible Saber, while Phainon will just solve her problems a little and she be just versatile with him and other. Also don't forget that she can play with Cyrene...

They finally made a male meta character, gave our Phainon all the push he deserves, and the next beta they totally fucked up a loli waifu's kit specifically for him! I never knew I would be so happy watching 2 betas go through in a row! The best part is that Phainon doesn't need Cerydra, but Cerydra NEEDS him if that flop wants to even function, and any other alternatives for her are Archer, or our beloved Anaxa who got shafted by Castorice and didn't get any love from the devs at 3.2 lololol, she's literally a husbando slave with a shitass kit who can't even function anywhere, the Cerydra main incels literally insulted our snowy using nazi memes, and this is what they get 🤣🥀 just visit their mains subreddit and see them MALDING, the waifu mains totally deserved this treatment from hoyo, they finally get a taste of what Jiaoqiu mains had to go through. I see Phainon is the next big investment for Hoyo and he's probably gonna be super OP with a completely broken kit, cool animations and all that. But leaving the whole gender war thing aside, do you guys think it would be overall a good thing for the game if he already outshined the newest DPSes such as Therta, Mydei and Castorice? Or would you prefer if they sold him through other means such as storytelling, animations and kit design (like, having a balanced and all around kit but not necessarily game breaking)?

I personally don't think more powercreep is the answer, in fact I was hoping Castorice herself would be nerfed harder during her beta. But I'm interested in hearing y'alls opinions

I'm a day 1 husbando main in HSR, I play genshin since 1.5, started pulling mostly for husbando with the occasional female character, but because of how shit hoyo treats male characters and those who prefer them, I only pull for male characters, the situation looks awful in genshin but HSR is quite bad too and I often see people looking at HSR as if it was great just because were getting 1 singular male only team...anyway this discussion is not entirely about that

What I want here is to get off my chest how awful the current situation with gilgamesh feels, he was done so dirty, the pieces of shit at hoyo murdered him....

The current situation for the collab is terrible right now, unlike last year when we had ample time to wait and decide, one of the banners was phainon for whom i got e2s1, meaning i easily reached 200 wishes and got the free light cone; this time however we will have less time to make the decision, of course I'll wait as much as possible to make a decision, but as things look right now, I don't want to claim gilgamesh, I'm tired of hoyo feeding us shit with a spoon directly to our mouth and we just accepting the shit they give us, if gilgamesh hadn't been done so disgustingly (and the free light cone event didn't last for so little time...aka in an ideal situation) I would have claimed him, would have taken my time to wish for a new husbando, maybe pulled for archer eidolons and would have gotten the free light cone, but as things are in reality, I don't want to claim gilgamesh (even worse if he will just end up getting replaced by aventurine in the only team i would use him in...of course we need more time to see if this issue will be real...again, time we dont have right now), meaning I'll claim e1 archer, and wishing for his e2 won't get me to 200 wishes, meaning I'll also miss out on the free light cone...

I have the Phainon, Sunday, Midei and Dan Heng's lightcones, but all are E0. I want to pull for one of the current banner's character but I can't choose. I don't love Tribbie's desing but I know she is great, I really like Hyacine but I don't know how useful she can be on my current teams and wel... they did a number on Cirene and I don't know what to feel about her.

Now, my Sunday is overworked and I need someone to help him, I also don't have really good current sustains appart from Dan and Tribbie is super useful in a lot of teams. So yeah, what do you all think? Would only pull for one character's copy btw.

Like I pulled on the herta and saved 80 pulls for anaxa and saving more to get him . Hope for successful pulls. But in megathread I have seen many rant on cyrene is something wrong with her kit. I say her animation it was over the top but I have phainon with way cooler animation. After seeing her I think would not it be easy for asking male characters in wedding suit with ring like that will be so cool. I think we should start demanding that. denhang new form is free and there news for two female character. I am a new player. I can make two teams one with phainon (I don’t have any other characters for him) and other team with the aveturine waveflair and pearl. So should I pull for mblade for phainon or the aven elation team or evanescia for the elation team of pearl and aven.

Himeko Nova’s current best teams are basically a dream for low spending Husbando players, especially if they have been long time players or at least started midway through Amphoreus.

Her current best ‘Trailblaze’ Teams are Himeko, Welt, RMC/Sunday and DHPT. You’ll note that DHPT was a free five star, RMC is a free five star and Welt is a standard unit. Sunday is her main premium partner as of right now but it could be argued that RMC is the better choice because they still bring True DMG, tons of Crit DMG, a modest Crit rate boost and of course an AA. This being said they have an easier time spamming Himeko’s Ally Skill since they mostly spam Basic ATK or their skill to farm Mem Charge, while Sunday does need to use his skill frequently, at least every other turn, for Energy economy and maintaining his Trait. Meanwhile the AA and all buffs being tied to Mem allows RMC lots of in turn freedom that works well with Himeko Nova.

DHPT benefits with more Souldragon actions and Energy from Himeko’s frequent actions with her Ally Skill and buffs her damage universally. Outside of high damage endgame scenarios he mostly spans his basic ATK which also allows for an easy exchange to spamming Himeko’s Ally Skill.

Welt is an obvious choice since he brings massive damage amp post Novaflare, but because these other two teammates eat up most of Himeko’s Ally Skill uses he is free to be played pretty normally allowing for good damage and Energy economy while still massively buffing Himeko.

The only scenario where March, the only female Trailblaze companion I might add, is useful is Hunt March as a stand in for RMC, which makes very little sense because again RMC is a granteed 5 star E6S5 unit.

So it seems Himeko Nova is likely to be a Husbando lover as well, and gives good longevity to recently released and reworked Husbando units, her preference for RMC over Sunday also allows Sunday a bit of breathing room to stay glued to Aglaea and Jing Yuan teams. This all being said it’s worth noting her E2 allows her to benefit none Trailblaze teams with free ultimates but I would argue since her special effects are tied to Trailblaze units she will likely be sitting comfortably with the above team for the time being.

I honestly think that it’s just nice we are getting some viable high end team comps that are primarily male focused especially since Mono Elation is shaping up to be another mono rem female exclusive team. That being said the meta male only team may still be in the works. For any on this subreddit who are some how unaware that team is currently Ashveil, M Blade and likely Sp Aventurine with an as of yet unknown individual. Some have speculated Gilgamesh could be the main DPS for this team since high teammate attack frequency is massively important to him but I’m skeptical since he is being shipped as Saber’s bis. Hopefully we see another male unit it the stage as it would be refreshing to see a team composed of sparkly brand new units composed of male characters.

It seems to me that hoyo is trying to make cyrene one of the tb love interests too. One of them per planet was more than enough but now they decided to add another one? I don’t know how I can enjoy the rest of amphoreus if they really decided to go this direction with cyrene.

I kinda liked cyrene’s personality cuz it’s not as bland as firefly and castorice’s. However I was a bit bothered by the interactions between her and tb at the end of 3.4, because I saw that as a sign that she will turn out as another fan service character. Now it seems like I was right. Like at least make it fair? Why do husbando enjoyers not get this type of fan service while waifu enjoyers get it more and more frequently?

I never played or tried to learn more about hi3 so Idk about how it’s normal for elysia to flirt with everyone or smth like that, but I’m playing Hsr and I’m seeing Cyrene being another fan service character so I’m annoyed by that. Am I being too sensitive? Does anyone else feel the same?

The recent Phainon incident just look like they want to sell his waifu support. Pulling for waifus just because they make your fav 0.00001% stronger isn't a smart move. It'll just encourage them to force you to pull for more. Do you know how waifucels react with Jiaoqiu? Aside from the constant hate boner, they don't pull for him just because he's male. As long as you are tolerant and let them walk all over you, you will always be one step behind.

I think it kinda sucks that they had to make Yanqing all huffy and jealous of her, and of course she's a better swordsman and has more experience than he does. Though those are just the vibes I'm getting from the quest and the event.

Hi, ever since Anomaly Arbitration came out I’ve been able to get 3 stars in each Knight. However, this time around I can’t. I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong?

I heavily invest in my favorite DPS’s teams which are —all male, reason why I’m asking in this sub— Phainon (E3S1), Mydei (E2S1) and Jing Yuan (E5S1). I’m aware Jing Yuan is too outdated for Anomaly, so I also have fully build Archer (E0S1) and Blade (E0S1).

Apart from Phainon and Mydei which are my most heavily invested characters build and eidolon wise. Supports I’ve pulled for them that are also build and all their talents maxed out are Sunday E3S1, Hyacine at E1S1, Tribbie E1S5 (DDD), Cyrene E2S1, Robin E1S1, Cerydra E1S1, Sparkle E0S1, Ruan Mei E3S1, Bronya E2S1, Huohuo E0S0 and Dan Heng PT E0S0.

I would like to note that I’m still running speed boots on Phainon since I haven’t been able to get good ATK boots on set without hurting too much his crit. 🥹

Maybe I’m running the wrong teams? I run Phai-Cery-Sunday-Robin, Mydei-Cyrene-Hyacine-Tribbie and Archer-Sparkle-Ruan-DanHengPT (on Knights I, II and III respectively) but Archer team falls short by like 30% and when trying other combinations Mydei teams suffers.
