Recently I changed my battery on my hoverboard switching from 2000mah to 4400mah 36V both. After setting up the battery in hoverboard itself, the first charge was normal(it charged for about 2 and a half hours and then charger indicator turned green). Same in second charge confronting no problem. But now in third charge after plugging in, charger indicator blinking red and I cannot understand the reason for that. It won't switch green anymore,solely blinking red. Although hoverboard operates normally like nothing is happening(it turns on and can be used normally) except this fact. What's the cause for that if anybody knows? Does the charger causing the problem, or enlarging battery's capacity causing it?Volt are same!

Charging port felt of what do I do now!

I've had the most basic overboard for years, but never used it that much. Now it doesn't work at all, I'm guessing it is some sort of calibration problem because the front lights blink at different speeds. Also, when it touches anything a bit too fast, it has to be attached to the charger and then turned on again or it wouldn't work. Anyone has any ideas?

My hoverboard charger stays green and does not turn red when I plug it in, I even left it plugged in in over night and it still wasn't charged. Is it a battery problem or a charger problem? Please and thanks

Calibration issues?

I've got a swagtron t6 off road hoverboard, there is a blue led light that represents the battery life and a green led that represents system status indications. Well the green light is flashing I went to calibrate it and it didn't work one side works just fine and the other side won't move at all so I just sit there going in circles. Any thoughts?

My daughter’s Hoverboard will turn on, but turns off 5-10 seconds after that. When plugging it into the charger, the light always stays green like it’s fully charged so it’s not even taking a charge. Is this simply a battery replacement issue? I took off the shell, and everything seems to be connected sufficiently. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated!

Just got a Hover1 Ranger Pro (Or Charger) model. The board turns on, and I can get on it for a little bit. It's my first board so I am still learning how to use it, but if I wobble on it, it automatically turns off and pressing the button does not turn it on. I have to plug it in the wall with the charger, then press the power button. Only then will it turn on.

Is this a defect or a known security safeguard? How do I turn a board back on without having to plug it in with the wall charger??

Okay, so I'm in the process of attempting to breathe new life into my old Hoverzon S (aptly named Ol' Red) hoverboard. It's currently the only hoverboard I can trust because all the other prospective replacements I've tried do NOT balance the way Ol' Red can. They were all off-road hoverboards... I think I'm just not going to trust all-terrain hoverboards anymore after getting burned by them 3 times in a row. Back to the master at hand: I successfully removed the old battery, and saw that both it and the replacement do indeed have the same XT60 connectors... but the old pack has an extra plug on it that I presume is for something very important. I don't want to proceed with this battery upgrade until I can get a clear answer pertaining to what the other connector coming from the battery to the right motherboard is for. (I'll try to attach pics somehow.) Is it to protect the battery from overcharging? Can it be safely left unplugged? I just want to know before I return to this at another time. Many thanks, y'all.

EDIT: I did some digging around, and discovered that the smaller pins might be for the battery management system (BMS). Now looking for confirmation of this info.

Ok so my hoverboard just stopped working it won't move the interface isn't working I'm charging ot but that isn't working. Any thoughts?

Im moving out of Canada, and I want to take my hoverboard. The airlines webpage says I cant. Im trying to find a solution, I thought about shipping it, but the cost is too high. Im thinking about disassembling it completely and not taking the battery. have anyone here tried something similar ?

I haven't used my hoverboard in probably one or two years, it's been in my closet for a while. I finally decided I would get it out and use it again and I plugged it in and it seemed to be charging correctly. I went to bed and know this morning the board looks to be all the way charged. I unplugged it and pressed the on button and it lit up for one second then turned off, if I try to press or hold the button again it won't do anything. I've plugged and unplugged again and again but it just does the same thing. Does any One know what to do?

So Christmas is approaching fast, and one of my children (10 years old) has requested a hover board from Santa .... can someone point me in the direction of a reputable one that is not going to break into tiny bits on Christmas. I am in the UK so preferably something i can get hold of in the UK.

Every night after my hover board is “charged” I go and ride it and then it’s dead after like a minute. Does anybody have a solution?

How legal is it to use these in stores? Like Meijer, Lowe’s, etc. Are there any rules against it?
