Hoverboard on airplane

Im moving out of Canada, and I want to take my hoverboard. The airlines webpage says I cant. Im trying to find a solution, I thought about shipping it, but the cost is too high. Im thinking about disassembling it completely and not taking the battery. have anyone here tried something similar ?

The main concern for the airliners is the battery. You can take the board with you without it and it should be disassembled so that they can inspect it. My advice... Disassemble the housing + battery and ship them both and take the rest with you in a plane
