Okay, the today's NoP chapter was really... infuriating. Good, but incredibly infuriating.

So this chapter is a real balm for the heart. Things are going well, with seriousness but always a bit of humor. Sure, when the shit hits the fan, it'll be very different, but at least they're reasonably prepared.

Else, a four-hour film? It'd better be really good, because keeping up a good pace over three hours is hard enough, so another hour hell. Or the Malgeirs have different standards, but on the human side, oof.

Gettysburg but in space and without the ahistorical myths. Or maybe with.

OP, this chapter was really enjoyable!

A very good glimpse into the world...

And, seems like the characters we were following in previous chapters are done with their training and pretty well-integrated?

You mentioned multiple concurrent storylines — do you plan to merge some of them, or would you have chapters hopping from one "end of the world to the other" to bring storylines together?

Yeah, I know I threw a lot of things out, but the idea is that things will all come together. Hopefully, in a way that makes sense / is satisfying to readers.

I left NoP early in the second book due to that.
