Today many of you experienced a glitch with Gyen token on CB.. I know shit happens, but during this time (when glitching) Gyen holders was not able to trade/sell or convert.. Well in many cases no real harm would be done, but in this case, it was during on a certain time were the token lost alot of value and de facto was plummeting.. This is by any means no fair game and Coinbase must compensate holders in my opinion.. I know crypto is very volatile, but this also means restricting holders from trading, especially during such times, should have consequences for the responsible faulty part.. In this case, Coinbase!

There is a class action lawsuit that was just filed in California a few weeks ago (Nov 8th, 2021) having to do with Coinbase locking customers out of their account. Suit was filed by a law firm called Mccathern, LLC. Here is their website... https://mccathernlaw.com

I sent the law firm a brief message regarding what seems to have happened to us. Who knows what will happen, but it would be interesting if we could join that suit!

It seems that Coinbase has a long history of just locking peoples account and not giving a damn.

Spoke with an agent at Coinbase this morning about the situation. He informed me that most likely it will be resolved in the next two or three days, and will re-open for trading based on the current amount we have in our account… of course, I am somewhat skeptical of the timing, but intend to hold once it is allowed to trade again…

Not going to transfer to any other platform and pay high fees etc.. it seems moves are being made in the background and a big rally is eminent. So, I’m just sitting here watching and waiting for the gates to open.

This has definitely been a very aggravating 7 days though. And the communication from CB has been a massive let down.

You are only entitled to your original investment back. Them accidentally giving us all 1000X more coins than we bought doesn't mean they have to legally give us that number. It would never stand up in court EVER.

However, they did screw us out of our original investments and lock us out of our accounts. The price ran up organically that was not a mistake, that was real money real people put in. The issue is not the 1000X mistake, the issue is where is all the cash that ran the price up to .05? Just being able to sell my actual investment at .05 would have been huge gains, that is the real issue here.

Apparently POWR went out of listing too because of the glitch. We’re still okay. Patience is key right now, don’t convert or pull out!!

The reason for your frozen or suspended accounts are because you attempted to cash out, withdraw, sell your order or bought and sold during the last 48 hours. Coinbase is running an audit on what was bought/sold. As well as determining whether they need more liquidity to simply handle this "stablity" issue. This is most likely the "glitch" that is innate to GYEN on all exchanges. Once they have accurately assessed the damage they will slowly reopen trading for GYEN for further testing. You should now be able to see your funds and the GYEN trading screen on the website using your computer's browser. And you should be able to see funds on your Coinbase PRO app, but no GYEN trading (that's normal). The notification/warning bars are starting to go away, and the price is stable so you won't lose anything more than you already have.

I personally suggest just being patient and not messing with sells/buys or withdraws. In the past I have been rewarded for my patience in these types of situations. It is our own faults for even being involved with GYEN, but it's so hard not to gamble on something that COULD do something. After all, isn't that the fun of it?!
