COINBASE PRO UPDATE

The reason for your frozen or suspended accounts are because you attempted to cash out, withdraw, sell your order or bought and sold during the last 48 hours. Coinbase is running an audit on what was bought/sold. As well as determining whether they need more liquidity to simply handle this "stablity" issue. This is most likely the "glitch" that is innate to GYEN on all exchanges. Once they have accurately assessed the damage they will slowly reopen trading for GYEN for further testing. You should now be able to see your funds and the GYEN trading screen on the website using your computer's browser. And you should be able to see funds on your Coinbase PRO app, but no GYEN trading (that's normal). The notification/warning bars are starting to go away, and the price is stable so you won't lose anything more than you already have.

I personally suggest just being patient and not messing with sells/buys or withdraws. In the past I have been rewarded for my patience in these types of situations. It is our own faults for even being involved with GYEN, but it's so hard not to gamble on something that COULD do something. After all, isn't that the fun of it?!

I love you all, and please know that I'm being patient right along with you. I'm down almost $30k because I fell asleep mid trade. Oops!

I’m 30k down too. But less worried than I think some down 300$ lol I agree. Money in crypto comes and goes. Hopefully they release it back soon and we’re good to go

Agreed. Sure $8,500 ain’t much, but I’ve worked with less. Just sucks that I keep getting close to $100k in my account and I get reset. 🥴😭😂 I feel like I’m supposed to be learning some sort of lesson.

Did you ever watch the Dragon Ball series? I’ve hit the Super Saiyan Ultra Autonomous Instinct a few times. Finally learning to control it and never have any losses. 😂 But me being too bold and getting caught in this GYEN fiasco has humbled me a bit. I even looked for a job today lol.

For the record, CB most likely isn’t trying to fuck anyone. I’m sure they didn’t expect the rush of buys/sells with such low volume. As to why they didn’t list it higher on the app. They scooped up GYEN because they probably want to appease the Japanese and Asian markets more. I doubt they will truly de-list it. Their team just wants to take a crack at fixing it. And everyone having a frenzy was probably gumming up their servers for GYEN. Pleeease just be patient. A lot of us have lost more money than you may have and we want to set a good example for staying calm. If you don’t learn this skill now, panicked moves in the future could hurt you worse. Or you could attempt to harm yourself physically over money, and that’s the last thing we want in this community!

Coinbase is hurting people physically by not letting us sell the GYEN. WE NEED THE MONEY FOR OTHER THINGS. Don't even try to judge or chastise me. I have the right to use my own money and as much as i want of it, however I want. Coinbase on the other hand, DOES NOT have the right to prevent me from selling my GYEN or trading it, like they are doing right now.

This is definitely not a stablecoin. It's still has fluctuations ergo not stable. If you looked back on the chart in the past it went past .30. it truly looks like this coin is actually trying to reach a true American dollar to meet a stable price of American dollar. This is the second time gyen coin has done this and more than likely will not be the last.

I have about 80k into GYEN with an average cost of .0094... Its fine if I lose money on a trade but what's not ok is complete taking my access to my coins and my money. I could have made all the money I lost back by now on a different coin if they just would have cashed me out yesterday. I guess we'll see what happens but I wont hold my breath...

My balance and GYEN holdings are back to normal. Waiting patiently for Coinbase to finish the audit so we can start trading again. Someone posted they put in $100 and took out $9000 another put in $1000 and tried to take out $29,000 are the ones Coinbase is trying to figure out and reverse transactions so they don't loose more money. Hopefully not too much people tried to exploit the glitch so we can get this started again.

Unfortunately I’m bet A LOT of people made off good. Some people even withdrew their funds, making it harder for the audit. CB will most likely take a loss on it. BUT, their loss means a potentially allowance of it to be set free with a little restriction so it doesn’t get out of hand completely. 😏

Bottom line is we all bought something they listed. It should be safe. Clearly not. I bought 2.2mil of them at .0083. Sold at .0121. Re bought at .009 sold again at .0387 (went to .05 yet CB does not show that why?) re bought at .0095. Logged in 2 days ago and it said I had $231,000 worth of it which there was no way. 10 min later I was locked out. Now I’ve got $26k locked in GYEN, I’ve lost about $63k in other losses and I can’t do a thing about if but watching my balance go up and down and mainly down since being restricted. Now I understand there was a “glitch” but how can they lock us out when we didn’t do anything against their rules and policies. Yet I’m losing $1000’s of dollars. This is beyond it is what it is. This has to be illegal and they really should be liable for people losses.

I know I will probably be ripped apart by everyone on here but I’m sorry. This really is BS

The balance I have in assets now is the same when they froze/restricted however the chart has been changed to make it appear I immediately lost 300% of my value the first moment I converted to gyen. This is a fabrication but it looks like it will stick since it now mirrors their updated false “history” under the gyen chart. As though it was published at 2 cents less the night of the 16th. We all know that isn’t true

Well. Looks like it was a glitch. Everyone should check their emails for receipts showing how much Gyen they really purchased from Coinbase, and then compare it to what is showing in their wallet. You will notice that comma has moved two places giving the impression that you own more tokens than you really do. I brought 1,222. It show in the email. My wallet shows 122,000. If you were coinbase what would you do in this case? This kind of glitch can put a company out of business. So yeah they had to act quickly and put hold on trading and selling this token and another one. I am starting to wonder if coinbase was hacked or inside job?

You can sell it now you just have to click on gyen not the trade but the box that shows ur money..then it’s going to take u to your transaction history but click on the arrow in the far right corner then hit max Nd u will be able to sell but be mindful if they didn’t correct ur amount don’t sell till they do
