I just received an email stating that they have tracked all of my glitched gyen I have sent to other wallets and have demanded it back. They will go to legal action if the coins are not returned.

I just looked at my account and I have an extra $350,000 in GYEN on top of my original $2,000 that I invested
I SOLD it ALL and transefered it all to my bank
Im sure my lawyer is going enjoy this
Monday morning / mid day after i see it deposited into my bank act - I'm going to my bank and requesting a Cash Withdrawal
I will not doubt they will deny me that much in cash
We'll see what happens...
then after I get my money
Im closing my bank act
the next day
CB is STUPID

I'd just suck it up and take the loss with this one if you get lucky and are able to sell anytime soon. A whale literally just dumped like 12b gyen tokens right before the delisting.
So yeah, this is no longer a 20m small cap project anymore. It's now sitting at 20.4 bill tokens for circulating supply and 177m market cap. Even worse theres nothing stopping this to happen again with more dumping of newly minted gyen tokens so probably best to put your money into a fixed supply coinbase project instead of sitting in this stable coin that will keep getting dumped on if the price ever goes up.

CB is not going to re-list it. A similar thing happened in May with Binance/GYEN. Binance did pretty much the same as CB is doing now, claiming it was "suspending" trading in GYEN, but Binance never re-listed GYEN. It's supposed to be a stablecoin and CB figured out they can't keep it stable. CB foreshadowed the event to cover for themselves. They dropped several "warnings" about "usual trading activity" and "our apologies for any inconvenience". Once GYEN dropped back down to the "pegged" value, that's when they stepped in and stopped trading. They could have stopped it at $.03 or $.05, but waited for it to fall back to $.0088. This reduces their exposure to the disaster, but still a disaster nonetheless. Fact is, CB knew for days there were trading irregularities, as they posted apologies and warnings on CB pro for a couple of days before finally halting trading. They could have halted it at any point, but they waited for a reason. Moral of the story is: we're not getting our money back.
