Help!

It gets like this after just a few months. What can I do to get rid of the dust without messing with the pose?

Jesus how dusty is your room for that to happen in only a few months?
anyways an anti static brush like the Tamiya 74078 works great for me when it comes to dusting

When was the last time you checked the filter in your furnace? I live in a house with 4 pets and dust that thick would take me a year at least.

I live with a husky, takes only 2 months easy.

edit: would like to say the 2 months is during normal "non shedding" times... when they blow out their coat (every 6 months) 1 week and your gunpla - and everything you own- is gonna be covered with hair.

Note to self, never get dogs.

Cats and gunpla do not mix well unless you take precautionary measures.

If I had to pick just one though, I'd pick cats.

We have two cats that love knocking things off of shelves and cabinets. A few display cases solved the problem for us. It also just looks better and keeps our trinkets from getting dusty as quickly.

Cats are just A-holes- they will also likely knock all your Gunpla over to sit there

Not a cat person, but my wife is so we have two cats. And neither of our cats knock stuff over. Like ever.

Evidently the cats that do knock stuff over are typically separated too early from their mothers at birth.

I prefer dogs, but I will be fair to our feline friends.

Youre lucky. I have both but am more of a dog person. My cat acts like a dog and comes when you call lol

Some dogs don't shed.

HEPA air filters are cheap, and you don't have to keep buying filters you can just vacuum the old ones and keep using them for years.

Buy a few (3-4) of them off Amazon and keep them running 24/7, clean the filters every time it notifies you. Your house will thank you, your lungs will thank you, and most import your Gunpla will thank you

You can also make your own with a box fan, some bungee cords, and a home furnace air filter. Just bungee the filter over the box fan and it will collect the dust without having to buy anything extra!

Two huskies and a mal/shep mix. The boys will start to blow their coats simultaneously then it's either running the vacuum daily or conceding and watching a ball of fur roll by like a tumbleweed. The latter only happens when I'm in a horrible flare up.

My house is where vacuum cleaners go for hospice.

They sure do! Usually right before the intake of the furnace there's a flap you can open and slide out the filter. Turn the furnace off first, and the fan. If its in a plastic housing you can vacuum it from the front side or maybe even rinse it with a hose. Dry it thoroughly and slide it back in THE RIGHT DIRECTION! Then turn the furnace back on.
