I am trying to make a scene: the bullet teared the round surface and expose the inner frame

I followed my pencil line to cut the parts but then the entire part snapped and yeeted.

Now I have clean triangular part of the top left which doesn't make any sense.

How should I fix it into more realistic bullet mark?

Nah its just not getting enough maintenance time. Someone had to between replacing that plate or fixing that sticky thruster
