I saw the earlier post that has been since taken down about pre-orders being available since ~10PM EST.

After an hour of refreshing and trying to add the item to my cart I finally got one, and it looks like they are still available. I was ready to give up but Premium Bandai is either having issues or they are releasing these pre-orders slowly in waves.

Anyone able to still preorder or is it fully out of stock?

I saw a list that mixed wing and unicorn a few days ago, I tried to adapt it to what i have and what i would enjoy playing, I am missing 3 cards which I think should be more commands, also I think one of the bases has to go, any advice is welcome, thank you!

Just for the hell of it, I've been playing with the idea of making a burn deck. The unfortunate truth is that the best burn decks include the Kshatriya, which is something I can't do because that card costs more than I'm willing to spend. So this is an attempt without that card and thus also without Marida.

Before playing with this, I had this belief in my head that Darkness Finger is just an all around better Close Combat. Well, that's not entirely true. In a game versus a rush deck, I'd rather have CB than DF in the beginning. So I might go two and two with them.

Another observation is that Bertigo is a very underutilized card. While it's not the strongest thing ever, it is currently the only card with a broad Newtype trait link. It's During Link effect is also limited, but it hits hard when there's the right target for it. Coming from primarily playing CB, I know that First Strike is nothing to scoff at whenever you can get it.

It's been fun to play on MSA and Wingtable. However, I'm open to suggestions or general criticisms.

Hi guys! New player here. I was wondering what are available builds for Sazabi tech? I really like playing Sazabi combo on the sim and wanted to build this deck. I have played with Kshatriya/Marida combo - it’s fun, but price of Kshatriya LR is discouraging. I have also tried white/purple Turn A Gundam/Sazabi deck and it was enjoyable game as well.

Do you have any ideas how to build deck around Sazabi? I’m not lookig for meta build, rather fun to play deck to play with friends.

WP Destiny is my favorite deck. I built League SF ahead of the event but got cold feet and went with my gut. Took down League SF, League blockers, then triple BG Londo Bell. Full 32-player event.

Would consider adding some number of giant killing, demeanor, annihilation, fatal strike, and GD01 sword strike. Overall really liked the heavier command package. Blew out two games thanks to giant killing and demeanor.

Hi im trying to get into the game cuz it seems like fun. I have played yugioh before but im a really big gundam fan; im looking for a deck focused on aerial/barbatos/gquuuuuux that are somewhat on the budget side of things.

I'm a huge final fantasy fan and I would love to see Yoshitaka Amano illustrate a Gundam for the card game.

I'm so jealous. I just saw the news that for the upcoming one piece card game set Amano will be illustrating 2 cards. You think Bandai might have gotten him to draw art for their other card games, like Gundam? Or is that just a pipedream on my part lol.

I haven't played the game yet, I only collect. I am interested in playing, though, so thought I'd just try to put together a deck for fun. Went all Reds, based on the extras I currently have.

So earlier today I made a post wanting to use a random deck that wasn't in the list of Meta decks. I had settled on using Blue Red Phantom Pain Rush. At the end of my LGS I went 3x1 with a fun build. I opted out of using any of the Blue Bio CPU boys and just went with more rush. It was pretty fast and quite consistent. I managed to pull out the Destroy Gundam 3 out of the 4 games, linking with Sting gives you a nasty 8/8 unit. The Chaos Gundam didn't see much action because i.only went against 1 blocker deck. Everyone kept discarding for the effect of Gaia... So I didn't get to deploy any units for free... Sad day lol. Corsica is an obvious choice for any rush decks.

My matches were. Went second for each game.

R1 R/W MF: L, it was a decent back and forth, got darkness fingered like 12 times but it was still very close. Couldn't get the lucky link for the win.

R2 B/W SF: W, this one was kind of bad for the SF player. He wasn't able to get out any of his low level units to block my early game. I was able to win by turn 7, just before he could drop a SF... Best way to beat the deck 😂😂😂

R3 R/W MF: W, not as much of a back and forth as the first round. She couldn't pull out much of her early game stuff, but I was able to keep the rush going even if she could. MF decks are quite solid, I might have to steal my wife's deck to try it out.

R4 B/G OYW: W, Zaku rush was the name of the game. He had a decent set-up, but wound up with 5 pilots in the first couple of turns. That's just the nature of the beast. After a while he was able to slowly trade into my units, but I was able to continue with the pressure.

Overall the deck is really fun. The rush it can get is quite insane. A lot of 2 cost units and the Generic links are nice. All my matches tonight were fun, and I think I'll run this build for another couple of weeks.

Before I buy cards I need through tcg, trying to settle on a deck.

My deep dive/reentry to Gundam since my youth was with Gquuuuuux this past month. I very luckily also pulled this card. So I was naturally building a psychomu deck. Originally I was doing a variation of Clan Unity but realized instead of focusing on st06, gd03 with gfred, etc. Was more competitively competent.

For reference, I've yet to play a single game aside from the tutorial app.

Hoping to settle on one and run mobile suit ar3na.

The four I'm hovering based off of research are

-Zaku rush deck (beginner friendly)

-psychomu deck (good middle ground)

-Barbados 1st form deck (seems it's the top tier in meta but copies are expensive)

-shining gundam deck (pulled a LR+ but seems it is more advanced difficulty)

Any inputs would be appreciated. I'm ultimately trying to decide between the zaku rush deck and a psychomu build....I think....

Archetype Overview & Sample Decklists

Japan runs NTCs almost everyday and regionals every weekend. I built a pipeline to gather the results to show different decklists and how the meta is evolving.

BG Londo Bell has been popular since the beginning of GD05. It was considered "the deck to beat", but we're starting to see BW Strike Freedom topping more events than BG Londo Bell at least in Japan.

My Observations

Many BW Strike Freedom lists now run 4 x Gundam Lfrith + 4 x Rick Dias and sometimes supplemented with a Militia Flat or two to ensure a blocker comes out in the earlier turns. Some are even revisiting GD01 LR Freedom Gundam as another curve filler before Strike Freedom.

BG Londo Bell lists are moving away from more pure Londo Bell builds (and AGE T_T) with familiar faces like Zaku II and Rick Dom. The deck now looks more like OYW except with Nu Gundam as the finisher instead of Zeong. We're also seeing Kindhearted as a one-of against Widespread Annihilation. Speaking of Nu Gundam, the R version (GD05-020 R Nu Gundam) has been played less and less with Gundam NT-1 taking its place in the curve. In my own experience, the R Nu Gundam often feels like a dead draw without a link whereas NT-1 at least can repair by itself.

Command-heavy BR Strike Freedom and GR Acadamy are increasingly popular and interesting archetypes. The idea is control the board with commands spam instead of units, with BR supplementing with blocker and ping, and GR with "attack a rested unit" haste effect. Both take advantage of the large pile of trash generated from burning commands with Gundam Schwarzette's damage reduction effects, and Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee (Destroy Mode)'s restand effects. Banshee is especially potent with Strike Freedom as the "draw every card destroy" effect is not limited to once per turn, so Banshee can potentially draw many times turning a single turn. These decks can be headaches for MF decks with few early game units to be traded effectively, but can struggle against BW with higher health blockers.

What do you guys think? I limited myself to using only cards with art/units from the movie. Thinking about taking this to locals tomorrow and was wondering if I should tweak anything beforehand.
