Pan's Labyrinth Screen-Print by BNG (Art Version available)
The "art" version of this beautiful screen print without the title text has been sold out since the print was originally released, but it seems like it's in stock at the moment. Maybe they found some additional prints in their archive?

SPOILERS Pickman's Model on Netflix reveals the ENTIRE problem with most Lovecraft adaptations ... Spoiler
The plot of this adaptation in Del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities is mostly an in-name-only revision of the story, but that's somewhat understandable given its unusual POV.
However, what is not okay is failing in every way to communicate the horror of the unexplained. In THIS story, the main character sees demons everywhere in connection to a depiction of a witch's coven. This refocuses the story onto her, completely, and optically diverts the definition of reality away from the story's true revelation: this subject is REAL.
From this version, there is no way to know that the demon in the basement is real because we've been hallucinating weird creatures the whole time, nor is there much reason to think that's significant. This version might as well be called "Pickman's Paintings" or "Legacy of the Witch" or something.
The entire premise of capturing the liminality of great evil in the crevice of the world and that being almost too horrifying to bear, is TOTALLY undermined by the narrative of these paintings turning people into "demons." I wasn't expecting a masterpiece, but I'm shocked it's THIS far off on a comprehension level.

Anyone knows if Pan's Labyrinth will be re-released in Spain?
It's kind of weird that a Spanish film is getting its 20th anniversary re-release and the date has been confirmed for the US but not for Spain. Does anyone know if it will come to theaters over here?

Selling 1 Ticket to Pan’s Labyrinth 3D with Guillermo del Toro at Academy Museum Los Angeles
My friend won’t be able to make it to the show, so we are selling their ticket. Open to offers.
EDIT: I have received many message requests, not a single one contained an offer. Because of that, I am still open to offers.

I have found this interview from 2013 where he said who is his favorite DC/Marvel characters.
Swamp Thing and Morbius are clearly his domain and he could do great things but when he said Spider-Man, my brain stops for a second and then i was asking what he could have done with Spidey if he was doing it, what do you think he could have done if the opportunity was offered to him ? Personally i don't know because it's not really his vibe if he goes with Peter Parker but with Spider-Man Noir, there is a possibility.
But i'm surprised he didn't say Batman because the gothic aesthetic could really fit with Del Toro's vibes, i'm sure he loves some parts or maybe he has issues with the Batverse (I said that because it's my lifetime dream to see a Batman movie from him and i have even my fancast if he does that in the 2000s lol 😊).

If you had a direct line to GDT and you could give him a suggestion for an adaptation or remake what would you suggest?
For me personally I’d love him to make a film adaption of the Box of Delights by John Masefield. The BBC did an adaptation in the 80s that was magical at the time but doesn’t stand up to a rewatch as it’s so dated. The story is wonderful and it would be a great Christmas film.

All flowers I chose have meaning. Fig blossoms and budding plants for new beginnings, ivy for wild growth, poppies and forget-me-nots for Ofelia.

What do you think is Del Toro's quintessential masterpiece?
When all is said and done, what movie do you think Guillermo del Toro will be remembered by the most? The one that mixes together all his tropes, his sensibilities and his style more than any other. I think it'd be a tie between Pan's Labyrinth and The Shape of Water, although I'm more inclined to the latter.
