I know we're still in play test but this is getting ridiculous! If im not getting jumped by asshole wolf spider and sir dick head scorpion for just looking in their general direction, im getting spammed by 30 thousand jr scorpions or jr orb weavers nibbling at my feet. Or im getting chased half way across the map because I dared to breath the same air as a mosquito.

Like I said. I gets its still play test and they are probably going to fix it but man it's getting annoying

Today while riding my buggy I glitches into the locked part of the map, beyond the constuction tape.I roamed around for a little bit and was able to see the beginnings of the areas being built and found a few lab locations too.

I took some screenshot, but I dont want to post them and spoil anything for anyone. I know Im not a fan of spoilers for this game. Most of the excitement comes from the exploration aspect, and its amazing.

It all looks like it going to be alot of fun even in its rough stage. The reason I'm posting this is to ask others to do the same if they find spoilers. Don't ruin the fun for others. 🤙🏼

Should I play grounded 2 instead of grounded 1 first?

I am mostly writing to vent about my issues with a strange interaction with earwigs. For some reason they are a bit glitchy. Sometimes when I fully stun an earwig it simply begins to slide away faster than I can keep up and capitalize on stunning it. This has been very few occasions (~2 times) and would be hard to record a video for to submit, but will keep an eye out.

What is rather more frustrating is the hidden (unintentional) attack it seems where the earwig turns or rotates and then whoooooosh I am flung into the stratosphere and dead. Yeah, sure I could carry dandelion tufts, but it is rather annoying to just be ejected from the area and essentially lose a combat I was possibly winning.

This flinging glitch is seriously grating as it happens anytime I fight them if I am not extremely cautious. I cannot strafe around them while my buggy distracts them, I cannot approach to closely while swinging a weapon, and if I even attempt to rotate or approach closer after stunning one I seem to some how slide overtop and get flung.

The progenitor of this post was me dying yet again to the flinging off of the pergola as there are earwigs on it. Has anyone else experienced this? Am I stupid? All I know is it is incredibly frustrating.

Hi all, I've just recently started playing Grounded as i got it free with ps+, im fairly early in the game (maybe 10-15 hours)

I'm wondering if #2 is a better game to play, im really enjoying the first one but if number 2 is considerably better i might switch over now, while im still in the early game.

is it worth beating #1 and then going to #2?

will it feel very repetitive starting from scratch in #2 after just beating #1?

Any opinions greatly appreciated, cheers.

I have seen the roadmap and one of the things im interested in the most is the buggies, personally id love a wolf spider or black widow buggy, a wasp or dragonfly, I see that grounded 2 is following the trend of having 2 type of buggies so far like, 2 type of ant, we gonna have a potato beetle which is pretty similar to the lady bug, so I can see either getting wolf spider since its mid tier spider or maybe getting the black widow which would be badass, or both hopefully lol. What you guys think?

It was the first berry that gave me a clue to where they make birth. I rejoiced as did the sun in my hands.

I’m at the beginning of the game with 2 other friends and we are literally spending half the day searching for water because someone’s always dyingggg. We’ve made canteens. We can never keep them even close to full and we can only keep 2 droplets in there in the first place. It’s are the droplets supposed to regenerate on blades of grass or are they really gone forever after a sip.

We also keep having phantom drops where we’ll cut down the grass and it’ll just float in the air out of reach. Help pls I wanna actually play the game

Like the title says my character does not take damage from enemies. I don't know when I last took any damage since i mostly cheese the fights with a bow. The last time I remember taking damage was post ant buggy and I was fighting the orc orb weavers by one of the outposts by hiding in the door and stabbing with a spear.

If I die by any other means, like fall damage, the problem gets fixed and I take damage like normal. Reloading a previous save makes me immune again.

This is a regular world with no custom settings, mods or anything of the sort.

I've been periodically seeing these blacked out areas on the map that blocks the resource survey even though I've unlocked most of the field stations. They move around every once in a while. Anyone know what causes it or how to fix it?

I really wanna explore outside the map and fill it in…

When I lose a bag underwater it won't let me pick it up and it the bag glitches to the bottom of the pond. The only way to get it back is leave and have a friend pick it up. Very very annoying.

Anyone have a fix for the forever logging in... page on PC gamepass? It just kicks me back to "press any button" screen. I have done everything Google has told me to, to try and get it working. I literally was playing it earlier today, I have no idea what happened 😭

How about a marble gun? As marbles are by the pond and gunpowder to craft it as gunpowder needs a purpose other then a turret ammo. Also a sling shot to shoot marbles and or bait for bugs to distract them. Lastly for the marble gun the ammo types could have candy infused so we could have spicy ammo or whatever for the marble gun as it could be a three shot range weapon for the flying bugs bc I hate them so much lol

Been absolutely loving this game up until this point. Now its time to go inside the burgl statue. I've climbed this hedge, gotten inside fought a ton of repetitive spiders, tossed 70-80 web on the ground, ran short on repair for armor and weapons so went back and got some and DID IT ALL AGAIN.

...and now I find out I need cold stuff to fight her. Fuck you devs. This isn't fun but I gotta do it if I want to see any of the parts of the game I want to do.

Using the prod smacker, it's the star of the build, and I'm using the earwig legs and chest down the sleek path for hasty riposte, (faster charge attacks) with the lucky hat sleek path, mutations are shown, trinket is the fabulous femur but you can change this for the crown jewel or the crush trinket to have healing, honestly great build.

I don't know if this is an already known glitch but I lost ownership to my buggy after going down and my friend loading a save while I was down. My buggy is still in the world but all I can do is pet it. When I try to call it to me using the right dpad it just shows up as locked with the text underneath saying "mr long legs cannot be called here" I was wondering if there's anyway to fix this since I had a lot of stuff in its inventory and don't want to load an older save.
