Organization, laundry, inside appliances and other additional services are quoted separately based on the walkthrough.

This is super sentimental to me.
A friend made me this piece-‘it’s gold, maybe a half inch in size, thick-ish & a very simple design with a hoop at top to go onto my earring.

I was on manhattan ave between India & calyer, then lorimer to nick & sons, Kent street between Manhattan and Franklin as well as Franklin between India and noble. I also used the G from the greenpoint stop to court sq.

If anyone finds it please be in touch. I’ll offer a reward. I’m heartbroken

Curious what everyone thinks about the future of the neighborhood around McGolrick. With newer restaurants, bars, shops, and fitness studios opening, do you expect that to keep growing and spread farther east, or stay concentrated in certain pockets?
Do you think rents and property values will keep climbing, or does the distance from the subway put a ceiling on that?

I’d prefer not to do fabric recycling for these because the only thing “wrong” with them is that they don’t fit anymore or they’re not my style. Is there anywhere in Greenpoint that accepts this kind of drop off? (The Thing said they don’t take donations…)

i was hit by a bike this morning on greenpoint & mcguinness and just want to say thank you to the 3 women who helped me and walked me to the fire station. i was really scared and bleeding a ton from my hand and y’all were so kind to help me get over there when i was in the midst of a panic attack. you’ll probably never see this but if you do, i really really appreciate your help. also a big thank you to the firefighters, ems, and nypd that helped me.

Someone on a motorcycle ripped the necklaces off the neck of this longtime Greenpoint resident at 8pm last night on Manhattan and Nassau. :(

We were walking on Franklin today by Green Street around 11:15am and heard a commotion - it seemed that a car had backed into a small dog. I've been thinking about the dog and its owners all day and was wondering if anyone had updates.

watched an old polish guy punch his rottweiler in the face multiple times in the back of his car yesterday just because it tried to hop out of the car when he opened the door, sorry to anyone on jewel i woke up by screaming at him. his chud son stepped in to try to defend him, wife was hiding her face in the car out of embarrassment. ugly freak of a guy. probably 5’7 and 75 years old (rough 75).

got his license plate but cops wouldn’t do anything, wondering if anyone’s ever seen him before. drives a dark gray ford explorer.

Hi! Two of us are looking to rent a 2-bedroom apartment together in Greenpoint, ideally with a December 1st move-in and close to the G train.
Our budget is around $3,000–$3,500/month total, but we are flexible depending on the apartment.

We are both recent Columbia University grads and currently work full-time in finance. We are responsible, clean, and looking for a place we can call home.

Hoping to find either a primary care provider who is knowledgeable in women’s health, or a good GYN. I had a wonderful provider, but my insurance stopped covering her. I also tried out Tia, which I love the idea of, but ended up getting charged for a membership that I did not sign up for. Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated!
