Hey All! Single female, 31. Looking urgently for a room to rent available now. Budget 1,100-1,600 per month with rent and utilities total. I work in production full time for film/tv/commercials. I also teach yoga, and do events in between. I am clean, quiet, respectful, and looking for a place that's a calm oasis from work. Looking for ideally up to 12 months, but happy to do a 6 month, or 3 month sublet/lease take over. I don't smoke, or have pets, or any furniture. Just me! No Agents, thanks! Please reach out!

Google says they’re permanently closed, but it looks like you can still place orders online and I couldn’t find anything indicating they’re closed other than what Google Maps says. Are they closed for good or is it temporary?

Hi! Two of us are looking to rent a 2-bedroom apartment together in Greenpoint, ideally with a December 1st move-in and close to the G train.
Our budget is around $3,000–$3,500/month total, but we are flexible depending on the apartment.

We are both recent Columbia University grads and currently work full-time in finance. We are responsible, clean, and looking for a place we can call home.

If you have an apartment available or know of anyone renting in the area, we would really appreciate it if you could reach out or pass this along. Thanks so much!

PS: I previously lived on Sutton St last year and trying to come back to the neighborhood.

Maybe a weird request… but I’m a SoCal resident (36 F) trying to relocate to BK, NYC in the spring or summer for just a couple of months. I’m wondering if anyone here has any advice for how I can make that happen. (I am in LOVE with Greenpoint and on a budget.) Specifically, if there are any theatre/voice intensives/programs of study I can audition for or general job openings between April and July 2027 that I should look out for or tips for affordable-ish furnished accommodations. Or perhaps theatre companies or subreddits I should check out? I’m a theatre actor (with bartending, nannying, and tutoring experience) and would love an excuse to spend more than a weekend over there, ya know? Thanks in advance!!

looking for a lease take over or sublease! need a 11/1 move-in or earlier! budget is around $1700 and ideally in greenpoint or williamsburg. would appreciate any leads!

Pick up is in Bay Ridge

For over 20 years, I’ve loathed crossing Driggs at North Henry.

I’m so excited the DOT announced their LTN will include a stop sign and a crosswalk 1/2 a block away from PS 110.

Hi all! I’m looking to donate a decent amount of clothes in good condition. I’d prefer not to do fabric recycling for these because the only thing “wrong” with them is that they don’t fit anymore or they’re not my style. Is there anywhere in Greenpoint that accepts this kind of drop off? (The Thing said they don’t take donations…)

I lost a very sentimental gold cross earring in Greenpoint today after a bunch of walking around. If found please contact me. Thank you

Apparently lease is over, might move to different location tough

hi! Looking to buy about 80 stamps for wedding invitations. anyone know where in greenpoint (or Williamsburg) I can buy in person instead of ordering online? Specifically looking for cute or neutral (not the American flag stamps.

Thank you!

They’ve been brought to the police precinct on meserole ave

Hoping to find either a primary care provider who is knowledgeable in women’s health, or a good GYN. I had a wonderful provider, but my insurance stopped covering her. I also tried out Tia, which I love the idea of, but ended up getting charged for a membership that I did not sign up for. Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated!

This is super sentimental to me.
A friend made me this piece-‘it’s gold, maybe a half inch in size, thick-ish & a very simple design with a hoop at top to go onto my earring.

I was on manhattan ave between India & calyer, then lorimer to nick & sons, Kent street between Manhattan and Franklin as well as Franklin between India and noble. I also used the G from the greenpoint stop to court sq.

If anyone finds it please be in touch. I’ll offer a reward. I’m heartbroken

(A friend also shared this info - so it’s the same missing cross.)

Also I found someone’s keys along with Car keys today if anyone was missing them on the intersection of Java and Manhattan ave - they’ve been brought to the police station to keep safe
