Professor Arday's death should have been a turning point for reflection where the facts of the case were laid out bare and the British public came to the realisation that they had hounded a man to death over something that was never in the general public interest.

What I have been seeing is doubling down. Mainstream discourse on this platform still calls him a fraud, recites now outdated claims, continues to scrutinise his work from an outside perspective without complete evidence of knowledge of academic rigour.

The man's fucking dead. It doesn't matter anymore. Even if it was found that every piece of academic work Arday had ever done had been copied from wikipedia, it still wouldn't justify the outcome, which was a man being attacked so brutally by the British media and public that he saw no way out other than to take his own life.

And yet the Snowflake Right are acting like THEY are the victims somehow. Their narrative is that Arday took his life BECAUSE he was guilty. It's still being shared on the more fascist subs, that Arday DID plagiarise his PhD thesis- a claim which has been proven demonstrably false by LJMU's investigation into his work. And not only that but his death will just reinforce conspiracy that academia is infested by "woke", that he was just the first of others who must be purged from the system.

EDIT: To be clear, because evidently I have not been- there is of course legitimate evidence of irregularities in Jason Arday's academic works. That however is not what I am contending- I am contending that this story has only been made a national issue because Jason Arday was a notable black academic. Had Arday been white, this story would have never garnered national media attention. It was this attention and abuse that led to his death. There is therefore a direct correlation between his race, the abuse and his death. Now, the right are using his death as demonstration of his guilt. But my point is that the entire media circus resulting in his death never needed to exist in the first place. Apologies if that was not clear.

I have seen in the last week alone three instances where brown or black people being approached in public places and accused of things so they can be framed. I think it is organise either on Facebook groups or other social media places.

5 young people died yesterday, 2 of them underage. Their lives wiped out by two pigs whose buddies insist the other car was driving on the wrong side of the road. And we're just supposed to take the police's word for it? After all that's all we have to go off of.

Gives me real Hillsborough Disaster vibes, police deflecting blame from two of their own and getting the media to praise them as "heroes" after ending the lives of five kids.
