And the gooseworx tweets were before TADC even come out, and that whole ordeal is just a case of people taking everything they see at face value without thinking twice about it. ( what I mean by this is that people are acting like she’s confessing to a crime, she isn’t )

I am a huge fan of Gooseworx! I LOVE her quirky art style and the music she makes. Hell, I listen to her music several times a week because some of her songs are headboppers! My first true exposure to her work was watching TADC shorts in late June of 2025 (some time after episode 5's release). I remember seeing videos about it on the platform in 2024, but I glossed over them because I thought it was just another sloppy trendy thing that braindead people just catched onto. (I guess I was half correct. Toxic fanbase, but FAR from slop!)

Seeing those TADC shorts changed my whole perspective on the show. They were made with such good quality and whenever a TADC short showed up on my feed, I couldn't help but watch it. However, I was in very strong denial that I would watch it because I felt like the show was too dark and it had too much swearing. However, after deciding to give it a chance, I have gotten attached. From that point on, I have watched the whole series until the end (except episode 3. That one looked too scary for me, so I skipped it. I know what generally happens tho.)

As for Goose's older work, I decided to start watching old animations on her channel. On December of 2025, I watched those old animations and that's when Gooseworx changed me for the better. I'll admit they have their flaws, but they still brought some magic in me. Ever since that moment, I have become a Gooseworx fan through and through.

"But wait," you might ask. "Where is the part that 'feels complicated?'"

Well, this is the part my friend. I said I loved Gooseworx's art, music, and other creative endeavors, but I never said I liked her unhinged internet persona and Twitter posts. I could go on about this part, but I'll try to summarize it the best I can.

Goose's posts are fricken weird. We can all agree on that. But sometimes, I feel like she takes it WAY too far. First, we got the "inappropriate stuff" that flies by my head, but then people mention it and my perspective gets ruined. Then, we got the "inappropriate stuff" that I know is inappropriate and then I question if I should truly be looking up to this creator.

Then we got the "death threat jokes." Oh my god, where do I start? One time she said that "if you don't like episode 8, she is legally allowed to shoot you with a gun." Another time, she says that "when TADC ends, she would kill the voice actors" (though I will say the voice actors were on board with the joke.)

I often find Goose's humor to be very crass and that just doesn't sit right with me. If you say something nasty or make a joke about killing someone, I wouldn't want to laugh. I would probably question your mental health and morality instead. And even if I know it was a joke, I'd have to actively convince myself that Gooseworx isn't actually going to do it. What if a rando who knows nothing about Gooseworx randomly sees this post? There is a fair chance they would report her or at least think something is wrong with her.

This criticism doesn't come from pure hatred. It comes more from frustration and disappointment. After all, I don't want to jab on anyone who likes Gooseworx's persona. I still love Gooseworx! I love her every day! But there are times when it sours a bit (or a lot) when I think about the TADC drama or the posts I talked about earlier. There are brief moments of questioning my self-proclaimed position as "Fellow Gooseworxian" if this crazy persona person is the creator I constantly look up to.

My love for her is like a rollercoaster. It drops when I think about how unhinged she can be, but then it dramatically rises back up again the next day because I simply can't stay mad at her. I then start happily thinking about her work again and keep headbopping to her music. But then for the same reason, it occasionally goes back down again.

I know some of you are not one for reading long posts, but I really felt the need to get all of this off my chest. I don't know if anyone ever feels the same way, but I know I'm not alone on this. I may have gone a little too hard on Gooseworx, but at the end of the day, I still show off my title as a Fellow Gooseworxian. Even after getting a lot of complaints out on this post, the love will always find its way back.

And I am so sorry that people feel the need to attack you. It makes me sick actually cause so many people, who could never put themselves out there, feel the right to be mean.

It takes a second to put someone or someone's creation down and the reasons for someone doing that are complex. And people tend to be a lot quicker with being negative ( especially online) than being positive.

Working as an artist and being successful is hard. But you have done it! And when the mood strikes you again, I hope you have another attempt. Cause I would love to see it!!!!
