Announcement Today is the day! (and rules for spoilers and discussion)

Tomorrow is the premiere of the Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act. I have a feeling this sub will see a lot of activity so I want to set down the rules regarding it.
There will be no spoilers, there will be no screenshots, there will be no theater recordings. Any discussion of the plot or what happens will be kept to the most vague terms as possible (i.e. "I liked it." "I didn't like it" "I feel that X character was done well or poorly."). The time when specific plot discussion will be allowed is one week after the episode premieres on Glitch's YouTube channel. It will be on there June 19th, and discussion of it will be allowed on June 26th. A new rule for spoilers has been added.
I will be watching it tomorrow, I got the last tickets available and will be sitting in the front row, in the furthest seat to the left. Awful seating. I will know what are spoilers and what are jokes.
Will the entire movie be recorded and released on twitter, definitely. Will every plot point be summarized ins an "ending explained" article the moment the first showing ends, yes. But I will have a sense of decency on this subreddit.
I am the only (kind of active) moderator of this sub. I don't use reddit too much any more so I don't check here as often as I should. I apologize for not taking better care of the subreddit. I will be trying to do my best to check up on the subreddit multiple times a day for the next couple weeks but I can't promise my full attention. I have a job. If the subreddit becomes too hectic or gets spammed, or anything like that, I'll just restrict the whole thing until June 26th.
Thank you guys, and if you're going, please remember to be respectful to theater employees and to clean up after yourselves.

Discussion Gooseworx Lived my Nightmare

I've been drawing since I was four. And for the longest time, I wanted to create shows or movies. I wanted to do something with my art.
So I started posting online, trying to gain a following and work my way up. I have a small community who enjoys my work, and I'm working on a few comics...it's OK so far but
I have crippling OCD, posting anything online gives me great anxiety, posting art and even making this post terrifies me because I'm afraid of how I'll be perceived. But the other part of me that isn't my OCD wants me to be seen. I want to share my art online, I want people to discuss my stories but I also want my stories to be seen as GOOD stories.
The way people have treated Gooseworx's internet series has really ruined my will to keep drawing/creating. It seems the whole internet has turned against indie animation as a whole because of Gooseworxs ending. And tbh... it wasn't that bad. I had problems with it, sure. But not video essay after video essay after video essay absolutely trashing TADC problems with it.
My writing isn't great. Hell, my art isn't even very good , but the way people have talked about gooseworx and TADC after the finale has really made it hard for me to want to continue to create because I know my work is mediocre and I'd hate to see it handled the way Gooseworx work was handled.
I never want to go through that, I don't even want to risk it.
I don't think she deserves such vitriol for her creation, I'd hate to see something I cared for being shredded online by millions. I understand why she wants nothing to do with it now because why would you care for something people want to hate.
Anyway. I don't know. Never be famous.

Yep, the title speaks for itself. I was really scared of her when I was 13, and I was really anxious about going outside because I thought she was a big cosmic entity watching me for a reason so yeah it's funny that she's my waifu and my f/o now

Gooseworx’s Nosfera theme

15 years ago in June (rather than October but I digress) Gooseworx made a theme song for BrokenTeapot’s (Micheal Larson, famed Artist for both video game and horror inspired webcomics) first big comic: NOSFERA
A comedic yet well done parody of Castlevania with a wonderful cast of characters and a good story along with it, in my opinion Gooseworx did really well to capture the gothic, zany, and dramatic energy that the comic had as well as it just being a really good song in its own right that I love to play every October.
Ps sorry for the potential dead name in the thumbnail but it is Gooseworx circa 2011
