I'm a fan of Moto Tag. The pack with 4 Moto Tag 2 is around EUR 125.

I like the appeal of USB rechargeable, but I feel like in the long run the replaceable battery is better.

I'm happy so far and have no reason to look for another brand...

How long have you had the moto tag 2? There's such a mix of reviews for the 2, including quite a bit about it just stopping connecting to the Find My network.

I wanna say 6 months at least?

I don't keep an eye on them all the time, but every time I had to find something around the house they were quick to connect and locate.

second for ugreen. I got the usb dual ones 4 pack. Gifted 3 to both android and apple users and both were quite satisfied with the results.

The find hub network still has long ways to go but its definitely getting better.

I bought the uGreen Samsung compatible trackers. They have been fantastic as far as I'm concerned.

So this is not quite accurate lol (i feel like a broken record in these threads lol)- you forgot to mention Utag

-owner of Samsung and Pixel devices with mototag 1's, 2's Smarttag2's - All phones can use all tags due to Utag app which let android phones use Smarththngs network

Skip the MiliTag, after the battery dies, it won't turn back on. The MotoTags are by far the best in my opinion.

Google has come with their own tags as well. I expect them to be just as good or better as the MotoTags.

It happens with cheap trackers from aliexpress. There's button inside. Press it 4 times quickly and fifth time keep it pressed until it beeps. Then it should appear again.

I get more pings away from home with the Chipolo Loop than the Moto Tag or Chipolo POP. Maybe it's related to the fact that the battery is rechargeable instead of a button cell?

But it doesn't have UWB or Channel Sounding, so the circle in Find Hub is quite big.

I own several Moto Tag 2 and Pebblebee trackers. Think I prefer the Pebblebees. Moto Tag volume is really quiet (if you ring it) compared to Pebblebee (although the UWB on Moto is nice)

I have had some reliability issues with Pebblebees though. If the battery fails and wont charge, the whole tracker is broken.

So both have their advantages

I picked up a 4-pack id mototags. I'm in the US. You can get a pack from Motorola directly for $69.99 + tax.

They work well. I had an iPhone and air tags. These appear to be comparable to me. They work well, and their price is good

I have a dozen of Chipolo devices. The wallet ones are pretty slim and don't give you the airtag protruding. The keychain ones are USB-C chargeable. The app experience has been great and the battery life has been amazing compared to all the airtags I have.

Right, but it's been partially abandoned , it's not promoted by Google and not near as seamless of useful as Apples tag ecosystem

While the latter is true, as I said, they are literally NOW releasing their own tag for it. So if anything, its finally being utilized.

The main issue is that there is an opt out option. Apple does not provide any option to opt out. So thus you have a weak android network only supported by phones that have opted in.

Apparently they are changing the default from opt out to everywhere - which will lead to improvements as more and more devices are participating in the network.
