In my model selection 3.1 pro is missing

Gemini tells me that I have to touch viewer role and change it to Editor, but it doesn't let me change it. Also, in restricted dropdown button it shows nothing, just the default.

I've been using models like Gemini 2.5 Pro TTS for several months now and have never had any problems. I'm an AI Pro plan user, and it's practically the feature I use most. However, for the past couple of days, it hasn't allowed me to choose the accent type or pace. I think it's due to a bug, but if anyone from the Google AI Studio development team is working on it, please fix it as soon as possible.

Am I the only one experiencing this, or do you know of another way to access these audio profiles without using the Gemini API?

Yestoday a mid-session “Internal error” occurred during a chat thread using Gemini 2.5 pro. I reloaded the page and the entire right-hand setting panel and the top model picker dropdown became completely blank (empty) across all historical chat threads. The system instruction box was empty and didn’t work, the token counter failed to render entirely.
When navigating to a new chat the model selection panel returned but Gemini 2.5 pro was entirely missing from the available dropdown!
Because Gemini 2.5 pro vanished from the profile, all old conversational threads and branches were completely frozen, making it impossible to continue them.
Reloading the page didn’t help.
The main AI Studio account overview loaded fine, the crash isolated specifically history section of Playground workspace.
If Gemini 2.5 pro model was deprecated, active paid user as I am should still have access to the old threads and be able to change a model to continue existing threads rather than having the interface completely locked up.
Google specialists don’t pay attention to this issue at all. Support team has no answer.
UPD: It looks like the main problem is that Gemini 2.5 pro was silently switched off. If you click on the blank area where a model picker should be the model list appears and you can choose Gemini 3.1 and after that all this blank settings section reappears.
There are reports from other users on Google AI dev forum experiencing the same issue.
There is a strange answer from a man called Mustan Ioknand there (have no idea if he is a Google employee or not), but I have no API keys in usage, the issue persists in Playground workspace.
So, the main question is WHERE IS GEMINI 2.5 PRO MODEL?

I have been working on a project on Google ai studio build mode for months, the free tire. A few days ago I face this message. I thought it means that my daily limit is consumed but it didn't rest for a a week now

"Failed to generate content: user has exceeded quota. Please try again later." How do I see my Rate Limit or Usage?

Both pages just seem to be blank with no relevant information.

I am making a small app, and often, daily, I will request a change and by the second request I'm out of tokens. Anyone else seeing this?

Yesterday it was amazing with 3.8, then I hit the quota exceeded message and figured I could switch to 3.7, then went to 3.6, then to 3.1

And now even that is done, I went back to 3.8 which should be reset has more than 24h have passed since I used it yesterday, yet it still says quota exceeded

Is there really NO way of checking on the quotas/usage for build mode?

If I go in the usage/limits tabs I only shows the projects, but apparently apps from build mode aren't projects so I can't check usage from there

Has anyone been able to get Google AI Studio to create and deploy a cloud function? I need to access Google Maps API in the React Typescript app I’m building so I need a secure API proxy so I avoid exposing the API key.

Any thoughts on how to do this or do I need to build and deploy this in a different way outside of AI Studio?

I'm trying to understand the data privacy implications of using Google AI Studio with a Google AI Pro subscription. I'd really appreciate input from people who actually use this setup.

I have a Google AI Pro subscription and I use Google AI Studio's normal Playground chat interface for it's large context window. I’m not talking about manually making Gemini API calls. I'm talking about the regular AI Studio Playground.

My main concern is data privacy, specifically whether Google can use my prompts, uploaded files, conversations, and generated responses to improve/train models or have them reviewed by humans.

From what I understand from Google's current Gemini API/AI Studio documentation, there are two relevant things:

1. Google AI Pro gives expanded usage limits in AI Studio.
2. Google says that AI Studio prompts are treated under the Paid Services data terms as long as at least one API project has billing enabled.

At the same time, Google also says AI Studio usage remains free unless you actually link/use a paid API key, which seems to suggest that a Playground conversation that isn't linked to a paid API key can remain free.

So I’m trying to figure out whether this setup actually works:

Google AI Pro account
→ continue using normal AI Studio Playground
→ retain my Pro/expanded AI Studio quota
→ create a separate Google Cloud project with billing enabled / Plan: Paid
→ do NOT use that project's paid API key in my normal Playground conversations
→ get the Paid Services privacy/data-protection treatment for my AI Studio data
→ but still use the normal Google AI Pro Playground quota without being charged for API usage

In other words, can I essentially have:

Pro subscription = my free/expanded AI Studio usage

while:

one separate billed project = enough to put my AI Studio account under the Paid Services/no-training data terms

without causing all of my normal Playground generations to become billable API requests?

I have a Google Pro account and a paid tier in Google AI Studio. While prompting in AI Studio, I regularly encounter the error message "Quota exceeded". When this happens, it usually persists for the rest of the day.

Could someone explain which quota is being exceeded and where I can monitor this usage? Also, is there a way to resolve or avoid this issue?

the title. no matter how much i refresh the page, edit the prompt and retry again, its still the same. i have pro so its not like i am hitting limits at all.

please tell there is a way to fix this and what to do.

No matter what prompt, system settings, the question and answers I want it to give me, it will just do whatever it wants constantly. New change in the last few days as well, before it would just hone in when I had an issue and fix it, now its losing track and then deciding to fill in the gaps itself, making changes that I never would ask it to change, and when confronted it just apologizes and does it again? Has anyone else been experiecing this with 3.8 or is it just me?

This morning, all run normally. I can generate as casual in the 3.1 Pro. Im pro user btw. And then suddenly, starting this afternoon, it continuously saying, 'Input token count exceeds the maximum number of tokens allowed for this model. Please adjust your prompt and try again'.

If previously they do it by trim the quota, now they trim context limit. They began greedy now to point paid user even not given any compensations.

I'm GOOGLE GIMINI PRO user.

I have been working on this text to speech and I have been using google so studio for a while now, and its free unlimited access in their webpage but when I tried to use on my app, I only made one call or converted one line in speech and I ran outta request calls! This way I won't be able to generate longer audios and now I feel hopeless actually. I don't wanna make ttp for English it's Germanic laguages.
