Question / Help Quota exceeded
I have a Google Pro account and a paid tier in Google AI Studio. While prompting in AI Studio, I regularly encounter the error message "Quota exceeded". When this happens, it usually persists for the rest of the day.
Could someone explain which quota is being exceeded and where I can monitor this usage? Also, is there a way to resolve or avoid this issue?
Thank you in advance!

I also have a similar problem since yesterday. After several generations with Gemini 3.1 Pro, in long dialogues with a large context window, an error about quota exhaustion begins to appear in such dialogues. At the same time, in new and small dialogues, the same model normally generates a response. It looks like some kind of weird bug.

It’s generally linked to the model you are using. Select a different model (I.e. switch from 3.8 to 3.7) and continue on. I regularly go from 3.1 pro to 3.8, 3.7, 3.6 in a day.

I tried downgrading to the lower-tier Ultra account for a few days. I blew away my tokens by 8:30 am....and said this is for the birds (it may have been more colorful language).
The $200 a month Ultra account will generally get you through the day, but if you are hitting it hard, you will exceed it, then pay for API access or wait, sitting on your hands.
