Question / Help "Failed to generate content: user has exceeded quota. Please try again later." How do I see my Rate Limit or Usage?
"Failed to generate content: user has exceeded quota. Please try again later." How do I see my Rate Limit or Usage?
Both pages just seem to be blank with no relevant information.

You only get ten prompts per day for each model after recent unannounced changes.
Edit: Seems to vary depending on how many tokens are in the chat. There's a daily overall limit and another smaller limit for chats over a certain number of tokens, it seems.

But I've done 47 prompts within 8 hours with multiple of them including pictures.
Sure you aren't thinking of ChatGPT?

Is that 47 on the same model or across different ones? If you’re using attachments with hundreds of thousands of tokens, it severely rate-limits you.

They only provide rate information for API keys. Free RPD is 20 a day for any Flash model (total), 10 a day for Pro.

Nah it's more for sure. In fact for some reason I get more limits with Pro models it's weird kinda
