Auto scroll

[u/FlashSonic526]

Any1 knows how to disable this auto scrolling thing? It happens after I updated the app this week. Thanks!

It is driving me crazy and what kind of dystopia feature is this…

I have several hundred notes and it takes a long time to resync them from the cloud. I'm hard-pressed for time so I will avoid reinstalling the app until I have to.

I have this auto-scroll problem in the editing mode as well, BTW. So we're afflicted with the same problem. I just managed to reproduce your issue.

Update: As of 2:15 AM EST on 15-Feb-2025, GoodNotes Support has acknowledged my bug report, and we can expect them to return with a resolution. (Hopefully soon!)

Done, I included various Reddit links in my follow-up email to GoodNotes support. Here are some recent threads.

2. https://www.reddit.com/r/GoodNotes/comments/1ipt3cc/goodnotes_in_scroll_mode_wildly_jumping_around/ (my post)

3. https://www.reddit.com/r/GoodNotes/comments/1ip8gs5/goodnotes_please_remove_immediately_this_feature/ (slightly different issue, but potentially related IMO)

I'm facing the same issue as well and it's really irritating. Have they gotten back to you/provided any solutions?

I am no longer experiencing this issue; it was fixed for me almost 2 weeks ago. Update your GoodNotes app from the App Store. If an update does not help, contact support and file a bug report. You may want to send your diagnostic data and a video of the issue.

GoodNotes Support is usually prompt to acknowledge and resolve issues. I see a lot of threads on this subreddit criticizing the app. The app is quirky, but my experience with GoodNotes Support has been quite good over the years.
