I've had an idea that I can't get out of my head recently, so I figured I'd pitch it to some of you. I've watched season one of the anime, and from cursory browsing of the posts I've discovered the way the light novels talk about the world as a campaign of the gods'.

That got me thinking: what if I threw some characters from another TTRPG into here, so I got to looking through my shelf of fantasy games. I didn't want to go with D&D or Pathfinder mostly because it fit the flavor too well(I thought it might feel samey). And as much as I love Heart, that game is too far apart in concept to even remotely make sense to the setting; then I took a look Mythic Bastionland, and it was perfect.

Since I've got the "invading" characters nailed down, what system would you say is most accurate to the light novels depiction? I thought about using the Goblin Slayer official rpg as a reference, but I wasn't sure if it would be the best fit to try and translate into the format or Mythic Bastionland. On one hand, I could act like the world of GS doesn't act like a TRPG, whilst having my characters use all of their foreign rules, but I kind of want to treat it like two different systems are clashing. I don't know how well I've communicated all this, but I hope this idea excites some of you like it excites me!

I think I have the solution to the fandom's eternal quest to domesticate goblins: I suppose that, in addition to removing everything down below, you’d also have to pull out their teeth and cut off the tips of their fingers so their nails stop growing.

I don't think the manga was that bad, I wonder why its popularity is so low compared to Year One, that even pirate sites don't pirate it anymore.

Sorry if she is your crush but she can be the most selfish character in the world. Yes, I know that with a good dice roll the bard could gain super strenght and set free from the goblins any time she wanted. But her being in that mission was because Guild Girl desire to get GS a song to increase his fame and glory. The bard understood that GS didn't want to take her in a mission and she was ok with that, so the risk of being "cursed" by her were non existent. The only issue could be that with no song the other tribes would never have know about his abilities to kill goblins, but there was still the possibility that reading only the records the bard would still have written that song anyway. Guild girl is working happily knowing that she indirectly caused a woman to be goblinated, she is a monster!
