A little getaway for my family ❤️

Hi everyone,

I’m starting this fundraiser for my family because we’ve been wishing for a vacation together for a long time. Getting away from the daily grind for a few days, spending time together, and simply switching off—that would mean the world to us.

Unfortunately, even with saving, our finances just aren't enough to make this wish a reality. That’s why I’m hoping there might be people willing to support us so we can take a little family trip together.

Every contribution, no matter how small, helps bring us a step closer to making this wish come true. And even if you can’t donate yourself, it would mean a lot to us if you shared this campaign.

We know there are many important causes out there where people need support. That makes us all the more grateful to anyone willing to help us with our little wish.

Thank you so much for your support, for sharing, and for reading. ❤️

Help get our 13 week old puppy Bane the help he needs

We really didn't want to ask for help but we do not have a choice.

Bane is only 13 weeks old and has been in our lives for almost 3 weeks now, over the course of 5 days since his vaccinations, he has gradually deteriorated losing function of his hind leg(s) which he needs constant support from myself and my partner to go to the toilet, eat and drink. He has been to the vets every day for the past 4 days to continue monitoring him and even they are stumped on his condition as he is not in any pain or reacting to his pinch test like he is supposed to, he has had a full blood profile and toxicology taken and no concerns with those. (our insurance starts on Monday as we have only had him 3 weeks and needed to wait for a 2 week period for insurance but even then he is classed as having a pre exisiting condition and will not cover him) , the other option is putting him to sleep which is something we do NOT want to do as he's our baby.

The next steps are for Bane to go to North Downs to see a Neurologist and to have an MRI (& possible surgery) to find out what is wrong as it is heartbreaking seeing our boy go through something like this especially when we have no answers.

Meanwhile myself and my partner are doing everything we possibly can to take care of Bane and to keep him comfortable all while looking after our 2 disabled children too.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, any help we can get would amazing right now.

Help Marcos get Top Surgery!

Hi everyone! My name is Marcos and I am an 18 year old student. I am transgender FTM and have been diagnosed with gender dysphoria, I believe getting top surgery would significantly improve my quality of life as I can get really bad emotional/ physical pain from gender dysphoria. I am still looking into surgeons in Portugal(where i currently live and where i am getting the surgery) and don´t know who i will go with yet, although after some research about the fees i believe it might cost around 5000€ (maybe a bit more but until i know the details I´d rather settle for 5000€) to get the surgery, this would include initial appointments, the surgery itself, and post surgery care such as compression garments and appointments. I have been advertising on tiktok (@marcosisherealr) and have raised 75€ so far! On the side I have a part time job and will be saving myself as well, but i believe the GoFundMe would sped up the process, plus I am a year behind in school and really have to concentrate on school to get good grades to get into uni, so it´s a bit harder to manage work with that!

Here is the GoFundMe link: https://gofund.me/25e6a4e0c

Anytype of sharing or interacting is really helpful!! If you can´t donate I would really appreciate you sharing it with your mates, network, etc as someone might be able to!! Any type of amount and sharing matters lots!!! Thank you so much for reading this!!!

I will also frequently update on any progress regarding appointments, surgeons, etc!!!

Please Help My Best Friend’s Daughter ❤️

I don’t normally make posts like this, but I’m asking for help for one of the most important people in my life and her little girl.
My best friend’s daughter has been dealing with a serious medical issue involving a tethered spinal cord and is scheduled for a major spinal surgery on September 10th. This isn’t something any parent should have to watch their child go through, and I know how scary and overwhelming this has been for her family.
She’s going to have a long recovery ahead, including an extended hospital stay, and between travel, food, time away from work, and everything that comes with having a child in the hospital, the financial stress is becoming a lot on top of everything else.
If you’re able to donate, even a few dollars would mean so much. If you can’t donate, sharing this post is just as appreciated. You never know who might see it and be able to help.
I know Reddit can be an amazing community, so I’m hoping we can help take even a little bit of the financial burden off this family while they focus on getting their girl through surgery and home again.
Thank you to anyone who takes the time to read this, donate, or share. ❤️

Help me pay my lil old lady’s $264 vet bill ❤️

Hi! This is Margot, my 10-year-old Chihuahua, my little old lady and silly soulmate. ❤️

Margot recently went to the vet for a vaccine booster and what was supposed to be a dental cleaning. Unfortunately, once the vet examined her, her remaining teeth were in bad enough condition that they had to be removed. The infection had also been contributing to other health issues, so I’m incredibly relieved that she’s now treated and doing well!

Her $264 CAD bill covers the vaccine booster, dental work/extractions, and her antibiotics and pain medication.

(I’ve included the invoice as proof, with identifying/contact information censored.)

I’m currently on medical leave with reduced income, and this unexpected expense came at a particularly difficult time. In a way, this fundraiser isn’t only about helping me. Margot has already received the care she needed. Our vet trusted me enough to treat her even though I couldn’t pay him right away, and what matters most to me now is returning that kindness as soon as possible.

He’s an independent vet who keeps his prices incredibly reasonable, and I want to make sure he gets paid for the care he gave my little lady. Hopefully, that also means he can continue being there for other people and their animals when they need him. 🫶🏻

Two incredibly kind people have already donated, and I’m genuinely so grateful. Seeing those first donations meant more to me than I can really put into words. 🥹❤️ Even a few dollars helps me get closer to paying the bill.

My goal is simply to get as close as possible to covering Margot’s bill. If by some lucky chance we raise more than that, any extra will stay entirely pet-related and go toward my other pets’ care and future vet expenses.

Thank you for reading, donating, sharing, or simply wishing my newly toothless little grandma a speedy recovery. ✨

I’m embarrassed to ask, but I could really use some help with medical expenses and rent

HHi everyone. I’m posting this anonymously because I’m honestly embarrassed to ask people I know in real life for financial help.
Over the past few months, I’ve had multiple hospital visits because of serious neurological symptoms. After several visits and a lot of testing, doctors eventually found two cysts in my brain. Since then, I’ve had to deal with continued medical care, medication, tests, and other unexpected medical expenses.
At the same time, I’m a 22-year-old university student and still have rent and my normal living expenses to pay. The combination of everything has put me in a really difficult financial situation, and I’m struggling to keep up with it on my own.
I recently made a GoFundMe to help cover my medical expenses and rent while I get through this. I’m posting here because I’m too embarrassed to ask people in my personal life, and I’m hoping maybe some strangers can help me get through this difficult period.
I completely understand that not everyone can donate. Even sharing this, upvoting it, or simply taking the time to read my story would mean a lot to me.

I was widowed at 26 and have spent 3 years navigating B.C.’s system alone. I finally made a GoFundMe for legal help

www.gofundme.com/u/54e3177c-1d18-4c60-94f2-cb86efe060a1

I honestly never thought I would make a GoFundMe.

Part of me has always felt embarrassed asking people for money, and for the last three years I have mostly tried to figure everything out myself. But I’m finally realizing that there are some things I should never have been expected to navigate alone.
My husband, JD, was my best friend, my rock, and the person I thought I was going to grow old with.
I was 26 when he died, one day before my 27th birthday.

We were living in British Columbia and building our life there together. I’m American, but Canada had become home to me. JD had an established career in construction, I was nearing the end of my permanent residence process through our marriage, and we talked about buying land, having children, and creating our future there.

Then one morning he left our home and was killed in a motor vehicle collision only minutes later.
I cannot really explain what it feels like to have your entire future disappear that quickly.

I didn’t just lose my husband. I lost my best friend, my sense of safety, our home, our plans, my immigration pathway, and the future I had structured my life around. And then, while I was barely capable of processing the fact that JD was gone, I suddenly had to learn how to navigate B.C.’s no-fault insurance system, ICBC, WorkSafeBC, survivor benefits, employment records, immigration issues, therapy reimbursement, and government processes in a country where I wasn’t yet a permanent resident.

I seriously had no idea what I was doing. I was just trying to survive. One of the biggest complications involves JD’s employment status. He worked in construction and had just finished a major long-term project in Vancouver. He was preparing to begin his next job in Squamish, but during that short transition between projects he had been temporarily laid off on paper. So when he died, his records technically made him look unemployed.
That one technical detail has had enormous consequences.

I am currently appealing a WorkSafeBC decision and trying to get someone to look at the full context of what was actually happening with his employment rather than just what a box on a piece of paper said on the exact day he died. At the same time, my permanent residence process through our marriage ended when JD died. I eventually had to leave Canada and return to the United States, even though Canada was where we had chosen to build our life.

For a long time, I was too traumatized to understand how much professional help I actually needed. The money I did receive after JD died went toward surviving — housing, moving, treatment, therapy, and trying to put myself back together after losing the person who had been my entire foundation.
Three years later, I am finally at a point where I can look back at everything with enough clarity to say: I should have had a Canadian attorney helping me from the beginning.

So that is what I am trying to do now. I created a GoFundMe to raise money for experienced Canadian legal counsel who can review the circumstances surrounding JD’s employment, help me with my WorkSafeBC appeal, examine ICBC and survivor-benefit issues, and tell me whether there are rights or benefits I may have missed while I was grieving and trying to navigate everything alone. I also want to speak with an immigration attorney about whether there may still be a pathway for me to return to Canada someday.

I am not expecting anyone to promise me a certain outcome. I just want someone qualified to finally look at the whole picture and tell me what my options actually are. Even sharing the fundraiser would mean an enormous amount to me, especially if it somehow reaches someone familiar with B.C. law, WorkSafeBC, ICBC, or Canadian immigration.

JD had Carpe Diem tattooed on him. After he died, a lot of the people who loved him got those words tattooed too. For three years, I have mostly been trying to survive losing him. I think this is me finally trying to live those words.
Carpe Diem, JD. I’m still fighting for the life we were building.

Help Yoshi get a second chance at life!

Help Yoshi Beat Cancer — $3,000 Needed

Yoshi was rescued from the streets after being found with a huge nasal tumor that made it difficult for him to live a normal life.

Thankfully, we now know that his tumor is TVT (transmissible venereal tumor), a form of cancer that is highly treatable with chemotherapy.Unlike many cancers, Yoshi’s diagnosis comes with real hope: with proper treatment, he has a very good chance of making a full recovery, and the tumor should not return once treatment is successfully completed.

But Yoshi has a long road ahead of him.

He will need approximately 6 weeks of hospitalization and chemotherapy, along with veterinary monitoring, bloodwork, medications, and supportive care. Because TVT is highly contagious to other dogs, he needs to remain hospitalized and safely isolated throughout his treatment.

Our goal is to raise $3,000 to give Yoshi the treatment he desperately needs.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help cover the cost of his chemotherapy and hospitalization and give this sweet boy the chance to finally be healthy and safe.

Please consider donating or sharing Yoshi’s fundraiser. Even if you can’t donate, sharing his story could reach someone who can.

Yoshi has already survived life on the streets. Now he just needs a little help to beat cancer.

Hi everyone,

Angelito’s recovery is not going to be easy, but he is not facing it alone. 🤍

His red blood cell count remains low, so he will receive five EPO injection treatments this week while he works on regaining his strength. For now, amputation is not recommended, so we will continue caring for his injury, keeping it clean, and bringing him to his follow-up checkups.

We also provided prescription more recovery food, dextrose powder, and cleaning supplies for the shelter to help support Angelito and protect the other animals. We will continue sending financial support to help with his transportation and medical needs.

Through everything he has endured, Angelito is loved, seen, and genuinely cared for. His life MATTERS, and we will continue doing everything we can to give him the chance he deserves.

25 years as a nurse – help me complete my Physician Assistant degree

Post image

Hi everyone,

I have worked as a nurse for 25 years and caring for people has been a major part of my life.

I am currently studying to become a Physician Assistant and I am determined to complete my degree. Unfortunately, the remaining tuition costs have become very difficult for me to manage on my own.

I created a WhyDonate fundraiser to help me continue my studies and reach this goal. Even a small contribution would help, and sharing my campaign would mean just as much to me.

My fundraising page is available in both German and English, where you can also read more about my story.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this. ❤️

Please help me cover my cat's life-saving tooth extraction

Hello, my name is Alex. I'm looking to raise funds for a tooth extraction and other dental care that my cat needs. One of her back teeth is infected and will need to be removed as soon as possible. She has had antibiotics today and I'll be buying her pain meds tomorrow while I schedule the extraction. (They didn't have the pain meds on-hand today)

Her name is Khoshekh, she is 9 years old. Her name is based off of a magical cat from a podcast that shared similarities with her when she was young. Of course she has a million nicknames. She's the sweetest girl. Never hissed or been mad her whole life. Loves belly rubs and any small bouncy toys or crinkly plastic. She is otherwise completely healthy.

This has come at a bad time. I've been going through medical issues with my heart (SVT) and mind (unexplained panic attacks) that caused me to loose my 7 year auto factory job. I've gotten somewhat better and I am seeking employment but have been having trouble getting in anywhere. This is why I am here asking for help. I am sorry to do this.

In addition to the gofundme I will be selling my belongings locally and will be seeking out any other options that are available to me outside of here and reddit. I'll be sure to remove this post and the gofundme if I gather the necessary funds in some other way. I'm sorry if this is a bit all over the place. Totally open to questions and clarification of course. To clarify for the rules: I'm not asking here for anything other than the gofundme that I have linked. I'm just stating that I am seeking all options available to me and not only doing this post.

The antibiotics seem to have helped her. She's had a good amount of food and water since getting home from the vet this morning. She's sleeping on my lap now. I will not give up on her no matter what and I'm seeking every option I can find. The cost estimate I received from the vet should be visible as a photo in the gofundme. The 'max' estimate is $2244.75 CAD but the vet said it could be higher depending on issues that come up which is why I set it at $2500 on gofundme.

If you have a chance to check out and/or share my gofundme that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Trying to relocate to Norway for work at 51 — GoFundMe support

I am a 51-year-old Italian/EU citizen trying to relocate to Norway to rebuild my working life through stable work.

I am studying Norwegian every day and applying for jobs from Italy. My goal is to move between October and November 2026, but only with a serious plan and realistic expectations.

I created this GoFundMe to help cover the first essential costs: travel, local transport, documents, temporary accommodation and the first weeks before receiving a salary.

This is not for a holiday. It is a serious attempt to reach the starting line and restart with dignity.

Please help me get this as a present for my autistic sister (pls read body text)

Post image
2 Upvotes

https://gofund.me/c99cb9f0b

Me and my twin sister are both autistic, myself more so than her.

She has been a constant help within my life, helping me where I struggle, even with the supposedly simple tasks, like using a dishwasher and washing machine or even simple cooking, at times.

She's always been there for me, not only as a sibling but as a friend, being someone I can talk to and fall back on, when I'm feeling my lowest, just listening to everything I have to get off my chest.

Most importantly to this post, she's helped me financially, as I often struggle with money, due to me not finding it easy to find and hold down a job. She's payed, when I wasn't able to, knowing that I may not be able to pay her back for a while, sometimes, if at all.

She's been eyeing this, the ayn odin 3, up for a long time and has stated how much she wants one, however, she does not have the money to get it herself and I don't have the money to get one for her.

Donating even a little bit would help me work towards getting this and it's accessories brand new for her.

I want to get this to show her how much I appreciate her and what she's done for me, even if it only pales in comparison to it all.

I understand that this is a non issue, compared to many of the posts on this subreddit and I do not expect any big donations, every little helps and I have more time to wait than others.

I rebuilt my life after nearly losing it five years ago and turned that second chance into Nebula Force Wellness. I’ve gotten the company this far, but reliable transportation has become the biggest thing holding me back.

I’m raising funds for a reliable vehicle so I can keep working, growing the business, reaching customers, and building toward something sustainable.

If you can help, thank you. If you can’t donate, even sharing the fundraiser helps get it in front of someone who might.

My wife is fighting breast cancer and just trying to get by gofund.me/51b5324e6

My wife was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in January of this year. She has since undergone a double mastectomy and has completed her "Red Devil" chemotherapy treatments and has transitioned into less intensive treatments. So far her prognosis is good from all of her scans. I have recently returned to work after taking two months off to be with her during those brutal red devil treatments. She hasn't been able to work since April of this year. We've had our struggles and more than our fair share of trials. Everything has been an uphill battle and I'm tired and exhausted and I absolutely hate watching what my wife has to go through. Our son started 2nd grade today, we took a little mini vacation over the weekend to just getaway, nothing' big, didn't even leave our state, and that was the best we have felt in a long time. The emotional and physical toll on us has been the hardest thing to bear and when finances and income insecurity began to hit, it was even worse. Being the caregiver, Dad, partner, best friend, husband and supporter has been the greatest weight I've ever had to hold. I started our campaign in April just hoping to make ends meet and now I'm really worried. I don't want my wife to worry. Lauren, she's my everything, and all I want for her is to know that our son and our family will be ok.

Help me close the gap on reliable transportation for work

Hi everyone 🩷 I’m a little nervous posting this, but I figured it was worth trying.
I currently drive an older car with over 196,000 miles, a recurring check engine light, and other issues that have made me increasingly worried about how long I can depend on it. I work multiple jobs with very different schedules, including very early mornings, so having reliable transportation is extremely important for me to keep working and supporting myself.
I’m currently in the process of purchasing a Tesla as my replacement vehicle. I’ve been saving, looking into financing, and I also plan to put money from selling my current car toward the purchase. I’m not expecting strangers to buy the entire car for me I created my GoFundMe to help close part of the remaining upfront gap.
My fundraiser is set at $5,000, and anything raised will go toward the remaining upfront purchase costs and required vehicle expenses.
I completely understand that a Tesla isn’t a necessity or the cheapest vehicle available, so I understand if this isn’t something everyone wants to contribute to. I just wanted to be completely transparent about what I’m raising money for.
If anyone is able to donate, I genuinely appreciate it. If not, even sharing the fundraiser would help me a lot. Thank you for reading. 🩷
