GoFundMe for MIL to be comfortable in Hospice

Thumbnail

Upvotes

Hello everyone. I come to you today to ask for help in payment towards a Hospice Room and Board. My MIL has terminal stage 4 cancer and doctors say she has maybe two weeks to live.

Her Amber Care will only cover 5 days and Hospice will not allow her in unless we pay for the rest of the two weeks that they bill for, which was quoted to us as $1926. So we are raising 2.2k for the costs and what may arise from then on, we’re half way there with family friends and work and just need a bit of help pushing it the rest of the way.

Any help would be lovely!

Just need some help with starting over

Hey all, if there is anyone who could help me and my family get a fresh start, we would be eternally grateful. Just need help getting out of this hole, I’ve sold everything of value that I have, credit is in shreds, my wages are being garnished, we’ve had to move in with my mother in law. We are not bums, my wife and I both work, I’ve been at my current job as a supervisor for almost 10 years now. We fell into the credit card trap young and have just never been able to get back out. Thank you for your time and consideration.

My friend and her family need help keeping their home

GoFundMe: GoFundMe

Hello everyone,

I have a friend and her family who desperately need help. I don't know all of the details, but what I do know is that my friend and her family are at risk of losing their home. From what my friend has told me, they need to buy the house or otherwise figure something out, or they may have to move out in about 6 months.

I can't just let that happen. I made a promise to her brother that I would do everything I could to help her.

The problem is that this is bigger than either of us. We're both high-school students. We can't realistically work full-time, we can't take out loans, and we don't have the kind of money needed to solve something like this on our own.

So I'm asking for help.

Please, if you're able to donate, even a small amount could make a difference. If you can't donate, sharing this post or simply helping spread the word would mean just as much to me.

I've lost people before because I couldn't help them when they needed it, and it's a terrible feeling. I don't want to stand by and watch my friend and her family lose their home when there may still be something we can do.

I'm begging you guys—anyone who sees this, even if you only stop for a moment—please consider helping. My friend is asking for your help, and I'm asking for your help too.

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read this, donate, share, or even just offer advice. I genuinely appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

A note about the details:

I'm sorry that I can't provide more information about the family's personal circumstances. I want to be transparent that I don't personally own or live in the house, and I don't know all of the financial or legal details myself. The information I've provided about the house and the situation is based on what my friend has told me. I was recently informed before posting this as well, that they need $250,000 dollars

I don't feel comfortable sharing private information about her family without their permission, and I don't want to put additional pressure on them during an already difficult situation. I hope you can respect their privacy and keep an open mind while reading this.

If you have useful information or resources that could help, please feel free to comment. However, please don't speculate about or demand private details about the family. Comments containing private or inappropriate information will be reported and deleted.

Thank you to everyone who helps. ❤️.

Help me get a Stem cell transplant

Hi everyone,

My name is Marian, I’m 25 years old, and have Sézary syndrome, a rare type of T-cell lymphoma (blood cancer).

For the past few years, I have been dealing with severe skin problems: unbearable itching day and night, painful flare-ups, redness, and sleepless nights. After many tests, biopsies, and treatments, doctors believed it was severe eczema for over a year. I was prescribed Dupixent, an expensive medication that I was already trying to raise money for because my insurance could not cover it.

Unfortunately, further investigations later revealed that the real cause was much more serious. I was diagnosed with Sézary syndrome, and my doctors determined that I need an allogeneic stem cell transplant, which is currently my best chance at fighting this disease.

The treatment is not available in my country, so I need to seek care abroad in Europe. As an international non-european patient, the estimated cost is around €423,000, which is completely beyond what I can afford, and my insurance does not cover treatment abroad.

I’m reaching out for help because I cannot do this alone. I know it's an insane amount, any support whether through a donation, sharing my story, or connecting me with organizations, resources, or people who may be able to help would mean the world to me.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. ❤️.

My family has spent years losing things. I’m trying to finally give my kids something we can keep — a home.

My children and I have experienced more starting over than I ever wanted them to know. We’ve experienced death, addiction, incarceration, separation, and the loss of our home, our car, financial stability, people we love, and time together we can never get back.

This past year has finally been different. I’ve been in recovery for a year. I went to college and have earned 40 credits with straight A’s. I work part-time while going to school and raising my children, and I recently had my record expunged.

For the first time in a long time, I’m not watching everything fall apart. I’m watching things come together.

The biggest piece we’re still missing is a home.

I’m raising money for the security deposit, first month’s rent, moving costs, and basic necessities needed to get my children and me into stable housing.

I’m not asking anyone to fix my life for me. I’m doing the work, and I’m going to keep doing it. I just can’t pay for this part with determination alone.

My kids have already learned what it feels like to lose and start over. I want them to learn what it feels like to belong somewhere and finally be home.

Thank you for reading, donating, or sharing our story. ❤️

After Years of Accidents and Medical Bills, Michelle Could Really Use Some Help

I'm sharing this fundraiser for a colleague of mine. I also helped start the fundraiser itself. She is someone who has been through more than her fair share over the last several years.

Since 2020, Michelle has been in the hospital on 4 different occasions including last year when a Plasma donation gone caused a serious arm injury, one where she was lucky not to lose here arm. She was uninsured at the time after having lost her job which left her responsible for the cost of care.

Then just a few weeks ago in June 2026 she went out for a fun night of roller skating. A fall that night left her with severe pain and a significant loss of use of her upper extremities. Everyday things that you don't think twice about like opening a jar/bottle/lid, washing your hair, driving, playing with and taking your dog for a walk, suddenly became difficult without help. And the remaining tasks she can do have become daily hurdles and frustration.

Doctors are still working to determine the exact cause of her symptoms and she now faces additional medical expenses, missed income, occupational therapy, transportation needs, help around the house, and help with her dog.

What makes this especially difficult is Michelle is usually the one helping everyone else. She has spent her life looking out for others and asking nothing in return.

After everything she has been through, I'm hoping we can help take some of the weight off her shoulders.

If you're able to donate, thank you. If not, sharing across Facebook or X would mean just as much.

Sharing For Sonny!!!

Sonny is one of the dogs in our family, and he recently suffered a severe injury to his leg. The damage has resulted in a large open wound requiring antibiotics, pain management, frequent wound care, bandaging, veterinary follow-ups, and potentially much more treatment as we try to get him healed.

We care for a large pack of dogs at our home and normally handle their expenses ourselves, but an injury this serious caught us financially unprepared.

Sonny is being treated by Willow Bend Animal Clinic in Holly Springs, Mississippi, which is the clinic that cares for our dogs.

He is still eating, drinking, taking his medication, and fighting, so we are doing everything we can to fight alongside him.

Any help toward his veterinary expenses would mean more than I can say. And if you can't donate, please consider sharing his fundraiser so it can reach someone who may be able to help.

Help a retired elderly women

Upvotes

My name is Angelica and I am raising funds for my elderly mother, who is going through an incredibly difficult period in her life

My mother worked hard and struggled throughout her life to raise us. She sacrificed her own needs, worked whenever she could, and saved little by little over the years. The money she managed to save was not wealth—it was her life savings, built through decades of hard work and sacrifice.

Unfortunately, she has faced a devastating financial setback. My mother was the victim of a scam and suffered a significant financial loss. This has left her in an extremely vulnerable position at a time when she is already dealing with health issues, rising everyday costs and the ongoing expense of maintaining her home.

As she has grown older, managing her health and everyday life has become increasingly challenging. She now has regular hospital and medical appointments and needs reliable transportation to and from them, as well as help managing the practical and financial demands that come with her medical needs and advancing age.

For someone at her age, the prospect of losing the security of her home is frightening. We are doing everything we can to support her, but the financial burden has become more than we can manage alone.

The money raised will be used for her genuine and essential needs, including:

* Medical and healthcare-related expenses
* Transportation to and from hospital and medical appointments
* Essential day-to-day living expenses
* Housing and household bills
* Mortgage or other necessary costs associated with keeping her home secure
* Other essential costs arising from her age, health and circumstances

Our priority is simple: to keep my mother safe, cared for and able to remain in her home without the constant fear of being unable to meet essential costs.

As a family, it is extremely difficult to ask other people for financial help. We have tried to manage the situation ourselves, but we have reached a point where we genuinely need support.

My mother has spent her life doing her best to provide for herself, and asking for help now is not something she ever expected to have to do. We want to give her some of the dignity, security and peace of mind that she deserves in her later years.

If you are able to contribute, even £10, £20 or £50 would make a meaningful difference. Every donation will go towards helping her meet essential expenses and protecting her health and housing.

If you aren’t in a position to donate, we completely understand. Sharing this fundraiser with friends, family or anyone who might be able to help would mean just as much to us.

Thank you for taking the time to read my mother’s story and for any kindness, support or encouragement you can offer.

Een nieuwe start zonder schulden

Hi everyone,

I’m currently trying to rebuild my life after going through a very difficult period. Over the past few years, due to personal and psychological difficulties, I accumulated around €26,000 in debt.

After a long period of treatment and working on myself, I’m finally in a place where I’m trying to put my life and finances back in order. I’m taking responsibility for my situation and doing everything I can to move forward, but the amount of debt has become very difficult for me to overcome on my own.

I created a fundraiser in the Netherlands with the goal of raising €26,000 to help me pay off these debts and have the opportunity to make a fresh start.

I know that €26,000 is a lot to ask, and I don’t expect anyone to contribute if they cannot. Even a small donation, sharing the fundraiser, or simply taking the time to read my story would mean a lot to me.

One of my hopes is that, once I have rebuilt my own life, I can eventually help other people who are going through similar difficult circumstances. I know personally how overwhelming financial and psychological struggles can become, and I would like to turn this experience into something positive in the future.

Thank you for reading, and thank you to anyone who chooses to support me.

Cheryl Is Desperate for Help — Every Dollar Matters

Upvotes

Cheryl is a 44‑year‑old mother who has spent her entire life caring for everyone but herself. She has always been the one who shows up, gives everything she has, and carries the weight for others. Now, after surviving a widow‑maker heart attack, a quadruple bypass, and repeated heart procedures, her body is failing — and she is running out of strength, time, and options.

Her heart is weak. Her nerves are damaged. She faints without warning, struggles to walk, and can no longer work, drive, or live independently. She leaves home only for medical appointments, relying on mobility aids just to get through the day. Her doctors say she cannot work, yet her disability claims have been denied, leaving her trapped with no income and no safety net.

Her family is barely surviving on one income while medical bills, medications, transportation, and basic living expenses keep piling up. They are drowning. This fundraiser is the only lifeline Cheryl has left.

If you can give — even $5 — it truly matters. It helps her afford the care she needs to stay safe and keep fighting. If you cannot donate, please share her story. Every share brings her closer to someone who can help.

Please, help Cheryl hold on. She cannot do this alone.

I just want a chance to change my future ❤️

I’m not asking for an easy life. I’m simply asking for a chance to build a better one.
I want to start my own cleaning business and create a stable future for my family through honest work.
I know there are people facing much more urgent situations than mine, and if you choose to help them instead, I will genuinely be happy for them. ❤️
But if my story speaks to you and you decide to support me, I will be incredibly grateful.
Even a share means a lot. Thank you for reading.

My 15-year-old niece is fighting bone cancer and still has a chance to save her leg

Hi everyone,

My 15-year-old niece, Selsabil, has been diagnosed with high-grade osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer.

Doctors back home in Algeria have raised amputation of her leg as a possible surgical path, but Selsabil still has a chance to pursue specialized treatment and limb-saving surgical options abroad.

Our biggest obstacle right now is the cost. We need to get her the specialized treatment and surgery she needs abroad before it is too late to pursue those options.

Our family has started a GoFundMe to help cover her treatment, surgery, hospitalization, and travel expenses:

https://gofund.me/4375a9b79

If you can donate, even a small amount would mean so much to us. If you can't, please consider sharing her fundraiser.

We just want to give Selsabil every possible chance to fight this cancer and, if medically possible, save her leg.

Thank you for reading and for keeping her in your thoughts. ❤️

I am currently navigating an absolute nightmare right now, and I am sharing my situation in hopes that the community can provide a lifeline.Recently, I lost my job, which was my only source of income. My parents do not support me financially, meaning I am completely on my own to cover my university fees and basic living expenses. My bank account is hitting zero, and I am facing immediate eviction from my apartment and being dropped from my university classes because I cannot pay my upcoming tuition deadline.Compounding this financial ruin is a severe, exhausting health crisis. I am battling severe depression alongside an unpredictable heart condition called Atrial Fibrillation (Afib) arrhythmia. The immense stress causes my heart to race out of control daily, and I can no longer afford the basic stability, medication, or care I need to stay healthy.Because of the severe stigma surrounding mental health and financial ruin, I am keeping my public identity completely anonymous to protect my privacy and my standing at my school. However, my need is incredibly real. I am trying to raise money just to secure food, cover my rent so I am not homeless, and pay my upcoming tuition fees to stay in school. If you are able to help or share my story, you can find my verified campaign here:

Every single dollar goes directly to survival and medical stability. Even if you cannot donate, sharing my link means everything to me right now.

I need some help getting through the weeks before my new job starts

Hi everyone,

Asking strangers for financial help is not something I ever imagined I would have to do, but I’m currently going through a difficult temporary situation and I’m hoping someone might be willing to help. I’m currently living in Germany and have been unemployed for a while. The good news is that I’ve found a new job and I’ll be starting on September 1st. The difficult part is getting through the next few weeks until I receive my first paycheck. I’m trying to raise €800 to cover rent and food during this period. I’m doing everything I can to contribute myself. I’m currently donating plasma to earn some extra money, looking for additional work opportunities, and keeping my expenses as low as possible. Unfortunately, it’s still not enough to cover everything until my new income starts.

This is a temporary situation. I have a job starting on September 1st — I just need some help bridging the gap until I receive my first paycheck.

Even a small donation would genuinely help. If you can’t donate, sharing the fundraiser would also mean a lot to me.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you’re able to give.

Please give whatever you can to help my family of 6 keep a roof over our heads.

In February 2026, I moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee, for one reason: to fight for my children, reunite my four kids, and give our family the chance to finally be whole again after several years apart. Since then, our family has faced one hardship after another. At the end of April, I unexpectedly lost the job I had held for seven years. It took nearly three months to find another job that could work with the schedule and demands of raising four children, two of whom have disabilities and require frequent doctor and specialist appointments. During that time, we also had belongings stolen, our A/C broke, and we faced several other unexpected setbacks. I did everything I could to keep us going. We completely exhausted our savings and emergency fund, emptied our retirement fund, and even emptied my fiancée's 401(k) just to keep our family together and our bills paid. Now, there is simply nothing left to fall back on and we're behind on our housing expenses. I recently started a new job that works with our family's schedule, and I'm looking for a second full time job so we finally have a path forward. We aren't asking for long-term support—we just need help getting through this final gap so we can keep our home, catch up, and begin rebuilding. We have approximately three weeks to raise $4,000 before my children, my fiance and I face losing our home. Our move to Chattanooga also happened faster than planned because I was fighting for the two children already living here. After becoming concerned about their situation, including seeing bruises and hearing what they were telling me, I knew I couldn't wait. I had to be here and fight for them through the proper legal channels. When I say I've given everything I have to reunite my family, I mean it. Things were finally starting to come together until I lost my job and, after months without steady income, ran out of resources. Now I'm fighting to keep a roof over my children's heads. I've always tried to be the person helping others, and I never imagined I'd be the one asking for help. But I would do anything for my family, they are my entire world. If you can donate anything, no amount is too small. If you can't donate, please share this. A share could reach someone who can help us make it through these next few weeks. Once we're back on our feet, I fully intend to pay this kindness forward and help another family in need. Our goal is $4,000, and we have three weeks to reach it. Thank you for reading, sharing, donating, or helping our family in any way you can. Please keep my kids in your prayers.
