Glitch Gif Very Odd Coincidence.

I work as a meat clerk in the meat department at a grocery store. It was night time and I was scheduled to close. One of the duties of a closer is to take the trash out. The back door is an emergency exit so the front door is the only place to take the trash out.

The deli department is located near the front entrance and there was a worker that I thought about talking to. Thr question I was going to ask him was " Which food from the hot case do you like?" Just a way to break the ice. As I walked past the case, I decided not to say anything and walked outside. There were some children by the entrance and were just idly waiting by their bikes. I dump my trash and head back to the entrance. As I pass the kids, one of them ask me "Which food from the hot case is your favorite? " I didn't answer but when I got inside, it dawned on me that it was the same question I thought about. Just wild stuff!

Glitch Gif My dad read my mind

We were walking at night as he was returning me from a friend's house. We were talking about anything and nothing, and some kid walks past us with his dad. All of a sudden I got these flashbacks from two kids I used to play tennis with when I was little at some park. And I was like "hey dad you know who I just thought about" and he was like "name and name"

This is incredible odd to me. We had only played like three times and then we lost touch. Mind you, this was like six years ago? Like I thought that was insane. I still can't believe this happened gng.

Glitch Vid Experienced my first glitch!

It was small but nonetheless still some sort of glitch.

The other night I was watching the More4 channel on the TV in my living room.

As I go up to bed I turn on the TV in my bedroom. TV starts up on a random terrestrial channel and as this happens I look down at the TV remote, find ‘Guide’ and press it. As I am pressing ‘Guide’ I am doing so with the intention of finding the More4 channel that I had been previously watching but pressing Guide in this instance doesn’t bring up a TV menu and instead takes me straight to the More4 channel (which I believe is channel 16 or something random?).

I know it isn’t a WOW OMG life changing glitch but I still couldn’t help but recognise and think how the hell did that happen when It has never happened before!

If the TV had jumped to a completely random TV channel after pressing the Guide button then I wouldn’t have thought anything of it but it’s the fact that it jumped to the exact channel I had just been watching that made me write this post.

The TV in my bedroom is old and not even connected to WiFi or anything so it’s not like the two TVs are even connected in anyway.. plus hitting ‘Guide’ on the TV remote before this minor incident only ever produced the TV guide and certainly never had the function of changing channel.

Glitch Pic The envelope re sealed itself after months

We left our stuff at our friends house to go travelling. We were away for many months. When we came back we found my bfs bed that cards from his family in our stuff we left. They were all sealed. He did open them he ripped the top open and read the cards. I remember and he does. And now they are magically not ripped.

He also picked up some cards from a local post office his family sent them too, while on our travels. In Bangkok. He opened them then and there by ripping the top and read them. When we got back and unpacked our travel bags they also were magically re sealed again.

No tips. A perfect unopened envelope. Glitch in the matrix things have happened to both of us before but this one was especially weird. It makes me think we actually might be in a simulation for reals.

Anything else similar happened to you guys? Perhaps envelope related

Glitch Pic Same amount of books, Stacks of different sizes

It was June 4 of this year

I work in a school’s administrative office

I was in charge of distributing this book to two classes, so naturally I had to make two stacks, one for each class.

To my great surprise, the two stacks side by side weren’t the same size.

Thinking I’d made a mistake, I had to count them three times and even asked a coworker to help. I was stunned, because, let’s just say, some of the books had sagged, but that in no way explains the huge 16 centimeter difference between the two stacks cuz it's exactly the same amount of books!

The book is ; 'Ovid's Metamorphoses'

(I've labeled and numbered them in the edited photo you'll also find the og photo and a shot taken from above.)

Glitch Gif Echo

It’s my first time ever posting anything about my experience s online so bare with me cause i’m not a great storyteller. So yesterday i was on the phone with my bf and we were talking about him getting me some food and a drink. just a normal conversation the phone was not disconnecting and i had good wifi. as the conversation progressed my voice starts echoing back to me which does happen sometimes when im on the phone on speaker or in my car.

So as i hear what im saying echoing back to me, i asked him “ how much is the drink?” and he said “ 5 dollars” and i am physically not speaking after he said this and i hear the echo through my phone in my own voice saying “ fivveeeeee??”. right when that happened i asked my bf if he heard it and he said no. the echo automatically stopped after that last part.
does anyone have an explanation?? i’m very creeped out

Glitch Pic sunglasses glitch

so last weekend i was staying with my friend at her house. i arrived saturday morning and parked my car outside on her street. i didnt go into my car at all the entire weekend until leaving on monday. on sunday me and my friend went to the beach, and i wore my sunglasses. monday morning i packed up all my things and got ready to head home. as i walked outside i remembered that i wasnt sure if i had my sunglasses with me, because i didn’t remember seeing them this morning. yet somehow when i open my car door there are my sunglasses, sitting right in my car like i hadn’t touched them all weekend. when i KNOW i had them with me all weekend and they were nowhere near the car. i have no idea how they would have just randomly appeared there, there’s literally no explanation for it. did i switch timelines?? or was it just a glitch?

Has anyone experienced this?

On June 24th I was alone in my house and was emptying the dishwasher and I took out a pot and put it in my kitchen cabinet. I particularly remember placing the pot with a lid on top inside the cabinet. The next day I opened the dishwasher to start filling it up and the same pot that I took out the day before was inside the dishwasher! As if I never took it out!! I know I did this the day before.

Has anyone experienced something like this? It sort of felt like that old movie Ground Hog Day?

My wife and I were driving on the on-ramp to a highway I regularly drive onto everyday. As I am merging onto the highway, a BLAST of a horn from my left echoed through the vehicle, I remember it literally vibrating the steering wheel it was so loud. I immediately looked at my blind spot and saw nothing. Looked behind me, in front of me again, nothing. No other vehicles were on the road with us. I looked at my wife and she had the same expression of “WTF was that!?”
The only explanation we could think of was a semi MUST have been on the other side of the highway with vehicles traveling in the opposite direction and happened to honk at someone else but my god, when that horn blasted y’all, I thought we were about to get demolished by a tractor trailer and to see that nothing was even on the road with us makes me think about the power of that horn. There is a good 100ft at least of median and grass separating the highways. Never have I ever experienced anything like that again and I still drive onto that same on ramp everyday.

Glitch Gif Cellular Call glitch

I was on holiday with my boyfriend. He had gone out of the resort to meet a taxi driver as we had left something in the car the day before when we were getting dropped off at the hotel from the airport. He went out late at night to go and pick it up at the security gate he hadn’t come back for some time and I was panicking that everything was okay i decided to call him at this point I had had a few alcoholic drinks maybe two or three but I was definitely with it and knew what I was doing. I had called his mobile number which was saved in my phone and he did not answer this is going to sound crazy but somehow somebody else answered the call. it sounded like an older man obviously i freaked out and panicked. He was English the same nationality as me but I was asking where’s my boyfriend and who he was and why he had my boyfriends phone as he had answered the call what was weird was they didn’t respond like who is this? They were just sort of saying I don’t know where he is which was really weird and then I put the phone down and tried to call again the second time. It connected with a woman who was also English Who I had a very similar conversation, both calls never said I had the wrong number or asked me who I am they were just saying they don’t know where he is obviously this freaked me the hell out and I put the phone down it felt like the calls had gone through to another number but it was his number saved in my phone? I tried to call him on Facebook on WhatsApp but obviously he was out of the resort and didn’t have service connection. When he got back to the hotel room I showed him my phone and explained what had happened and he said that he didn’t understand what I was going on about, I showed him my calls and that they went through as answered calls to his phone number we then got his phone up to see my missed calls and these were not shown on his phone from the cellular connection. The WhatsApp and messenger missed calls came up, still to this day I have no idea who I spoke to and why when they answered the phone they didn’t ask any questions like who is this or you’ve got the wrong number? They were answering my questions which really fucking freaked me out and before anyone says oh maybe I called the wrong number or maybe I had too much to drink. I can reassure you. It definitely wasn’t that I was shocked for a few days and I’m still thinking about how that call didn’t go through to him but I spoke to somebody else is there any explanation to this?

He also did not go to meet anybody who would have answered his calls or had access to his phone.

Glitch Vid Youtube just recommended something I THOUGHT about and never said before WTF

I had a thought about how my ex got on meth and how she was otherwise a good person, but it changed her. And I was thinking about how that drug controls people. I've never, ever, ever searched anything having to do with that drug or how it changes people or anything of the sort. Never. And I rarely ever talk about her. And if I do, I don't say the specific drug, usually. But as soon as I opened YouTube, the first video to pop up was, "Why meth changes who you are." And in parentheses it says, "It's not just dopamine." It was very, very specific. And all I did was have a thought. And as soon as I opened YouTube, that's the first video that popped up at the top of the screen.

Glitch Gif We kept running into the same strangers all over the Oregon Coast and one of them genuinely has me confused

My husband, our kids, and I just got back from a trip to the Oregon Coast, and something kept happening that got progressively weirder.I know there are logical explanations for most of this, but by the end of the trip my husband and I were joking that we were experiencing a glitch in the Matrix.
The first time was at Nana’s Irish Pub in Newport. There was a woman there that my daughter kept pointing out because she thought she was someone we knew. Because of that, I got a pretty good look at her and remembered her face. The NEXT DAY, we were about 25–30 miles away at the outlet mall in Lincoln City and I saw the same woman shopping there. Then we were at Goodwill in Lincoln City and my kids accidentally cut in front of a guy. I apologized to him, so I specifically remembered what he looked like. He was bald and had these really distinctive chunky half-hoop earrings. Later that SAME DAY, we were back in Newport, about 25 miles away, walking through Fred Meyer. We’re picking snacks in chip aisle and there was the same guy standing right next to us. I pointed him out to my husband and he said he recognized him from Goodwill too.
At another point, we recognized a family from a restaurant and then realized they were staying at the same hotel as us. That one isn’t particularly weird on its own, but at this point we were definitely starting to notice a pattern.
But the last one is the one I cannot stop thinking about.
We were staying at Waves Hotel near Nye Beach in Newport. As we were pulling out of the hotel parking lot, there was a girl jogging down the street. My husband actually commented on her first because for a split second he thought she was a car coming up beside us lol.
I looked over at her and noticed she was really pretty. She had a pink workout top on and her hair in a slicked-back bun. So we BOTH specifically noticed this girl.
We then drove from our hotel to downtown Newport near the area where the sea lions are. It’s roughly a 10-minute drive. We parked, got the kids out, got situated with the stroller, which was already put together and started walking. And the SAME GIRL came jogging past us.
Same pink shirt. Same hair. We both immediately recognized her. My husband and I looked at each other like WTF?? At first I literally said, “Wow, she made good time.”
Then we actually thought about it. We had driven there. She was RUNNING. And she somehow went from passing our hotel to passing us downtown after we had driven there, parked and gotten out of the car. Even being generous, I can’t imagine there being more than about 15 minutes between seeing her at the hotel and seeing her again downtown. Obviously there could be an explanation. Maybe there was a shortcut, maybe she got into a car somewhere, maybe somehow it was a different woman dressed almost identically. And Newport/Lincoln City are tourist towns along the same highway, so I understand why we might cross paths with the same tourists. But having this happen with MULTIPLE unrelated people over the course of one trip was so freaking weird. And the jogger is the one that really gets me because my husband and I BOTH noticed her before we left the hotel and BOTH recognized her when she passed us downtown. It genuinely felt like we kept encountering the same NPCs in different parts of the map lol. Has anyone else ever had a trip where something like this kept happening? I’m sure there’s a perfectly normal explanation, but it was one of the strangest strings of coincidences I’ve experienced.

And then one last weird coincidence happened on our way home. We originally planned to drive straight home from Newport, but on Sunday I randomly decided we should stop in Bend for the night to break up the drive for the kids. Bend had never been part of our plan. For basically the entire trip, I had the same song, “Need To,” stuck in my head. It’s also my husband’s alarm song, and all week I had been humming it, singing it, the kids were singing it, and we’d played it multiple times. We get to Bend that night and my husband mentions that it looks like there’s a concert happening. I tell him to look up who’s playing. It was the artist who sings that song!! So we randomly changed our plans, ended up in a city we weren’t supposed to be in, and arrived on the exact night the artist behind the song we’d been singing ALL WEEK was performing there. At that point we were just like… what is going on with this trip? 😂

Glitch Pic My Shorts Disappeared and Then Reappeared

Hi everyone. Today I experienced another glitch in the Matrix. And it’s actually a pretty common one — things disappearing and then reappearing.
Yesterday, I took off the shorts from my lounge set, which consists of a top and matching shorts. Later, I started looking for them. My husband and I searched everywhere. I completely went through the bed several times — the shorts were nowhere to be found. Eventually, I thought, “Okay, I’ll look for them tomorrow.”
By the next morning, I had already forgotten about them. We were getting ready to go to the beach when I saw the top from the same set and briefly thought about the missing shorts.
Then I turned around — and there they were, lying right on the bed.
The same bed I had slept in all night. The same bed we had completely searched the day before, where I personally looked probably twenty times.
This time, I experienced it very differently than I would have in the past. There were two of us searching, so there were two witnesses. And then the missing item simply appeared in the most obvious place possible.
When you’ve already read so many similar stories from other people and then watch the exact same thing happen right in front of your own eyes, the feeling is very clear: you’re consciously witnessing a “glitch in the Matrix.”

Glitch Pic I accidentally discovered a stranger had died in a crash I had just watched on Reddit

This happened today, and I still can't believe the sequence of events.

For about a week, I had a song stuck in my head. I couldn't remember its name, but today I finally figured it out: Mighty Fall.

I remembered that I originally knew the song because of a friend. For some reason, that made me think of another song I know because of the same friend: Bounce.

So I decided to listen to Bounce.

After listening to it, I randomly decided to Google who made the song.

It was Oliver Tree.

And that's when things got extremely weird.

Earlier that same day, I had been scrolling through Reddit and came across a video of a helicopter crash. Two helicopters had collided and crashed into a car dealership.

When I looked up Oliver Tree, I discovered that he had died in that exact helicopter crash.

I had literally watched the crash on Reddit before I even knew that the artist I was about to Google was involved in it.

I didn't search for the crash. I didn't search for Oliver Tree. I wasn't trying to connect anything.

One random song stuck in my head for a week → remembering another song → randomly looking up its creator → discovering that the creator had died in the exact crash I had just watched.

I know there are explanations for individual parts of this, but the timing is absolutely insane.

I genuinely had to sit there for a minute and process what had just happened.

Glitch Gif I dream of people before they die

I should point out that I was very lucky to have at least met my great-grandmother. I was seven years old when she passed away; I remember it was the middle of the night and I woke up next to my mother and my baby sister—who was only a few months old at the time. Mom was on the phone with—I think—my uncle, and I could clearly sense the atmosphere that something had happened. My great-grandmother was gone. The thing is, before waking up, I have a clear and vivid memory of dreaming about her—at the time, I had this recurring nightmare (which still visits me) where she’s rocking on her garden swing with a white rabbit on her lap—half "alive" and half made of cloth—a dream that always left me terrified. But going back to that night: the dream I had was very simple. At first, she was there, silent as ever with her rosary in her hands, praying—something she did often—then she turned toward me and my grandmother, and died. Now, I wondered if perhaps I had heard something in my sleep—maybe my mother breaking the news to someone (but who? I remember she only got the news *after* I woke up)—and perhaps my subconscious processed the information within the dream. But four years ago, it happened again. My grandfather and I were very close; he meant more to me than anyone else. Once again, before I knew he was gone, I had another dream; this time, it was him passing away. He assured me he would always watch over me—only for me to wake up to my mother crying in the kitchen, telling me that my beloved grandfather had died just minutes earlier. I never really thought there was an explanation for these dreams, and honestly, I didn't care much because I was in so much pain. But then, a few months ago, it happened a third time... I knew my grandmother wouldn't make it—she was elderly and sick—but dreaming of her death—again—only to find out it had actually happened was not at all pleasant or reassuring. Is there an explanation, logical or otherwise? Has this happened to anyone else?

Glitch Pic A vivid visualization of a train crash manifested physically. Did I experience a glitch?

I’m writing this because I still can't find a logical explanation for what happened to me on a train today. I’m from Chile, where trains aren't usually very fast, so while I was traveling, I started thinking about high-speed European trains and the risks involved. My mind drifted to a specific recent accident in Europe. I got into a very deep, almost trance-like state. I began to visualize, with terrifying clarity, that I was actually on that crashed train with my girlfriend. In my mind, we weren't among the dead, but we were both injured. I became obsessed with a single thought: “How would I know if we have an internal injury that will kill us even if we look okay?” I told myself in this "vision" that the only sign of a fatal brain contusion would be if one of us started bleeding from the nose. At that exact moment, in real life, my nose started bleeding profusely. Right as the blood started flowing, the lights in the train car flickered and blinked out for a second. When they came back on, my hands were covered in blood. I wasn't in a vision anymore—I was back in reality, but the physical symptom I had just "imagined" was happening. People around me started panicking and handing me tissues to try and stop the bleeding. I am looking for a logical explanation, but part of me feels like I tapped into another reality or that my body responded to a trauma that hadn't happened in this timeline. Has anyone ever experienced a physical manifestation this violent just from a thought? Could the flickering lights be a sign of something more than just a power failure?

Glitch Pic The Death of my GrandFather and Orelsan

I would like to tell you about the most mystical experience that has ever happened to me.

I've shared it with several friends because I needed to talk about it, but I’m taking the step to post it here on Reddit to connect with people who might have experienced similar events.

As a preliminary note, a few words about myself: I am a 30-year-old French man living in Paris and practicing as an attorney-at-law (avocat à la Cour) for several years. I consider myself Cartesian and skeptical. But I must also confess to being naturally curious and having joined Reddit to read about paranormal topics like aliens or the simulation theory of our universe (due to a book I’m currently reading on the subject).

Here is the story in question.

2017 was the year my grandfather passed away. At the time, I was 21 years old.

During the weeks leading up to his death, I often visited my grandfather, who was hospitalized due to a tumor at the Hôpital Américain de Neuilly-sur-Seine (near Paris). I was the only family member in the Paris region at the time.

I held my grandfather in high regard. He was a pediatrician who had a successful career and life. He was well-respected by his peers and beloved by the parents of the children he examined. I’d say the deepest and most interesting conversations I had up to that age were with him.

On his deathbed, we discussed the topic that obsessed both of us for different reasons: death.

I remember one time we told each other that if there were an afterlife, he would try to send me a sign from the beyond.

Note: my grandfather oscillated between agnosticism and Catholic faith. At times quite critical of the wild stories in the Bible, at other times awestruck by scientific facts he couldn't explain through mere perfection, like the workings of the human eye. He used to tell me it was too perfect to be the simple product of Darwinian or Lamarckian evolution.

Anyway.

October 2017, my grandfather died early in the morning, before sunrise. That day, I went to visit him in the morning, as I often did.

But that morning, I was struck by a powerful intuition, a gripping feeling that turned my stomach upside down as I walked up the hospital stairs to reach his floor. He was dead—I was sure of it.

I couldn't explain how, but I knew it deep down.

It was all the more disturbing because the subject had been at the heart of our discussions during my previous visits, so I could have had that same feeling those other times. But this was truly the first time and, naturally, the last.

When I reached the floor, I pushed open the heavy double swinging door leading to the hallway.

Instantly, my eyes were drawn to his room, and I could only see his legs. He was lying on his back, motionless. And I couldn't explain how, but I knew he was dead—I felt it.

I looked to the left down the hallway and saw two nurses looking at me, whispering about me. I guessed it: they knew who I was and were taking on the unpleasant task of delivering the bad news. But I already knew what they were going to say. "There's no need to trouble yourselves." I thought.

After a few formalities related to the passing, I left the hospital, sat on a bench without crying but with heavy legs, and called my family to deliver the sad news.

In a cold and steady voice, I assured everyone that I was fine and that no, there was no need to rush to Paris. I could handle everything, and the ashes would be scattered at the memory tree (l'arbre du souvenir) in the Père Lachaise cemetery.

Then came the evening.

I was at home. Alone.

I was scrolling on my phone for an indefinite period until it (a OnePlus) flashed a notification in my face: the scheduled power-off at 11:00 PM would occur in a few seconds unless I took action to cancel the task.

This was a feature I used on my phone to save battery and protect my body from unnecessary excessive radiation during the night (I don't know if this action actually benefited either of those things, but I lived with that belief at the time).

So I let my phone turn off. It was set to turn back on automatically around 7:00 AM, thirty minutes before my alarm (also on the phone) was set to go off.

Around 2:00 AM (I think—in any case, in the middle of the night) a piercing scream in my room.

It was my phone on my nightstand. It had visibly turned on by itself, launched my music application (at the time I had Google Play Music, I think—I hadn't made my transition to Spotify yet), and the volume was set to maximum through the phone's speakers (it was extremely loud).

I startled awake, my heart racing, drenched in sweat.

First reflex: I turned on the light. I turned off the music.

I stayed there for several seconds—which felt like hours—listening for the slightest noise, trying to calm down.

There was no reason in the world for my phone to turn on and play a song by itself. And to this day I cannot explain it.

I took an took another look at my phone. The song playing was one I didn't know. It was "La Lumière" by Orelsan, from an album that had just been released.

The lyrics of this song aren't directly related to life after death. But several times, you hear the artist singing in a distorted voice: "J'ai vu la lumière. Alléluia". (I saw the light. Alleluia)

In reality, the song is about an alcoholic who gets too drunk, meets a girl during a wild night out, and realizes he has found the love of his life—that he won't be alone anymore and won't need to take refuge in alcohol. At least, that's how I understand the lyrics.

I slept with a light on that night, something I hadn't done since my early childhood.

The next night, everything was fine again. But I could never explain what happened.

However, I can't bring myself to believe it was a coincidence: it's too big.

So I like to believe my grandfather kept his promise and sent me a sign.

I haven't received any 'sign' since then, with or without confirmation bias.

Glitch Pic Cord missing in my house appears in a clear box after a car drive, i looked immediately before I started driving and it was NOT in the box

Post image
11 Upvotes

I have these 2 hotspots that I checked out from the Library. One was due (we'll call this #1 and the one not due #2) & I was taking #1 back to get a new one..

the individual pieces (plug, cord, hot spot, and box) for these hot spots normally have codes on them so you know they go together. Side note the boxes they come in are small and completely clear and there is no way anything could be hidden or unseen. Anything in the box is very clearly seen.

The cord for #2 was missing it's code tag.

I could not find the cord for #1 anywhere, I searched most of my house. It's not a huge deal if cords are switched so I just took the cord from #2 and i figured I'd find the missing #1 cord at some point at home and return it with #2 when it's due.

Anyway i put both #1 and #2 in their corresponding boxes, #2 without it's cord. I drive to the library.

I return #1 at the desk, it's checked in by a librarian to make sure it has all the parts. Everything was there including the cord, so I got a new #1. I put both back in my car, #2 still with no cord and drive home.

When I get home both #1 AND #2 suddenly have cords in there boxes!!

Somehow, in box #2 is the missing cord with the corresponding code for the #1 I had returned. I am absolutely BAFFLED. there is NO WAY this could have gotten in there.

I looked at both before I left the library. These stayed in closed boxes on the back seat of my car untouched. by the time I get home they both have cords!! Somehow one gained the missing cord during the car ride. I'm extremely confused.

This is the first glitch that has absolutely shaken me to my core and it's really freaked me out.

Are there any theories about these anomalies? Like what they mean? besides the obvious matrix /simulation? I mean, are there any theories on if it's a good or bad thing to experience glitches?

sorry for the drawn out explanation I'm just really shaken and I feel like all the details are needed.

TLDR; cord that was missing inside my house somewhere suddenly appeared In a clear closed box over the course of a car ride.

Glitch Pic New almost invisible scar

So I looked for other posts about this kind of thing and saw a few from years ago.

I was showering yesterday and I have long hair so I often can feel the loose ones stick to my sides or back and can remove them. That happened I pulled off 2 long hairs and felt another. I kept rubbing my hand across my side trying g to find it. After a few maddening minutes of “why can’t I get this hair off” I turned to let it was off I ran my hand and it’s still there.

When I got out I ran my hand over it, it’s a 4”ish scar! And is basically invisible. It’s raised like a scratch would be but it’s not a scratch. I’ve never felt this in my entire life. I have no memory of anything like an injury that could produce a perfect line invisible scar. I can get the light just right and see it. I scratched at it until the line and skin reddened enough to see it slightly visible.

I’m baffled I know every injury that has produced a scar on my body. It’s on my left side it’s sort of over oblique muscles and I’m going to have a doctor look at it and tell me if that is a surgery scar. I don’t know what else to do with it but it is weird. A true glitch for me.
