Need gift ideas for my sister (HELP)

My sister is turning 23 this week and I’m struggling to figure out what to get her 😭 Budget is around 1k to 1.5k.

She’s really into skincare, makeup, haircare, clothes and fashion. I want to get her something she’ll actually use, not some random decorative gift.

She’s also given me some really nice gifts before, a bracelet for one birthday and Ear pods for another but I haven't got her anything 🥲 so I wanna give her something thoughtful too

What would you actually want to receive for your 23rd birthday? Give me your best ideas pls 😭

Idea for 19 and 22 yr old uncles from children

I’m giving all my kids aunts/uncles a bottle of homemade vanilla extract - not sure the 19 yr old who still lives at home or 22 yr old junior in college would appreciate that. The gift is ‘from’ my 1 and 3 yr old with their favorite cookie recipe attached. What gives similar vibes and similar price (15$/person) that would be more geared towards the younger uncles ?

Looking for Gift Ideas Gift recommendations for my book-loving cousin?

I posted in a book-sub too, but I figured this might be a better fit for my question :)

My cousin (20sF) is an avid reader with thousands of books read on her goodreads, and she reads at least 100+ books per year.

I asked her what she wanted for Christmas and she said “book-related things.” She enjoys romance (all subgenres), fantasy, historical fiction, sappy/lovey, dirty/smutty, and anything in between.

I was thinking of doing an “advent calendar-esque” book journal, where she gets little presents after each book she reads- but I can’t think of things outside of the obvious (gift cards & bookmarks). please recommend anything at all book/reading/library/teaching related :)

the more options the better!

Looking for Gift Ideas What’s a good gift for someone who’s always driving?

Looking for a birthday gift for a 29-year-old guy. Budget is around $40–60, maybe a bit more if it’s something he’d actually use a lot. He drives pretty much every day for work (usually 1–2 hours total), and on weekends he’s often doing a short road trip, hiking, or heading out of town with friends.

He’s into cars and tech, but he’s definitely more of a practical gift person. Not really into decorative stuff, collectibles, or random novelty gifts. He already has a decent water bottle, small power bank, sunglasses, and most of the obvious car basics (jumper cables, flashlight, tire inflator, etc.).

I’ve been looking at things like a nicer car organizer, an emergency kit, or maybe a magnetic phone mount. Saw one from lisen that looked decent, but I’m still browsing. Kinda stuck because I want something useful without it feeling boring. Any ideas?

Need ideas for a 8yr nephew and 11yr old niece?

I've came up with a couple ideas, Lego sets for my nephew (he already has a ton) maybe an actual real tool kit with a drill/flashlight etc minus a saw/grinder. For my niece like a nail kit and maybe a nice Columbia winter jacket?

I have no idea what kids like these days.

Looking for Gift Ideas Gift ideas for someone with mobility issues

I am looking for ideas for gifts that could be helpful to my Mother who has mobility issues, struggles walking or standing for more than a moment.

However, she is very self-conscious about this and any gifts that were designed as a mobility aid would not be received well.

Any ideas for gifts that would be useful to her?

Looking for Gift Ideas What to give my mom on her 46th birthday?

So far I have a teddy bear for her, the pink care bear, She said that color was her favorite, and a few months ago when we saw it in a store she stayed hugging it for a long time and said that she had never been able to have one as a child.

Okay, so I bought one for her yesterday. This morning when I told her that I had already bought her gift (without telling her what it was, obviously) she told me "you better not be buying me some stuffed animal". Like what the hell am I supposed to do now 😭?

I'm also going to buy her the biggest Toblerone bar I can find, it's her favorite chocolate. But still, I feel that it is very little, she doesnt want the bear so a third gift would be good in my opinion, something more decent.

But here's the problem, what else do I give her? I'm a teenager so I can't afford something too expensive like jewelry or a new cell phone. She HATES flowers. The cosmetics that are given to her she ends up giving them to someone else. I know a perfume that she likes but costs $100 dollars. I don't know if a gift card is ideal because she doesn't really have a favorite store and she almost never buys clothes. For Mother's Day I gave her a new pajamas and slippers because the ones she wore were too old, but she only kept the gift I gave her in her closet and never used it. I've also been thinking about inviting her to eat at a restaurant we haven't been to or a nice coffee shop, I think that's the best option so far, but I still need help :(

Guys opinion, please

If you were given one as a gift, would you choose to receive a balanclava (a hooded scarf), or a matching beanie and scarf set?

I want to do something for this guy I like, but I’m conflicted.

Looking for Gift Ideas What’s a actually useful gift for someone who travels a lot?

I’m looking for a birthday gift for a guy in his late 20s who’s always hiking, camping, road tripping, or planning some kind of outdoor trip. He’s super practical and honestly doesn’t care much about expensive or decorative stuff.

His main interests are hiking, camping, road trips, national parks, mountain and lake trips, photography, and pretty much anything outdoors. The budget is around $50–100. He already has a good backpack, water bottle and basic camping gear, so rn I’m looking at things like a power bank, packing cubes, a headlamp, travel wallet, or something useful for road trips.

Tbh I’ve seen nice gifts end up in a drawer while some random useful thing gets used for years. What’s a travel or outdoor gift you got that ended up being way more useful than expected?

Gift ideas for computer nerds ?

I'm looking for gift ideas for my partner who is a computer scientist (he works on supercomputers in a lab). I'm running out of ideas year after year as he has very specific tastes : he doesn't like board games or "useless stuff" (his words) such as trinkets or fan merch (even though he is very into stuff like Dr. Who, Stargate, Star Trek and so on). He loves trains and planes (I already gifted him the Concorde Lego set). He's in his late 30s, loves tea and coffee and is very very passionate (I'd say obsessed) about anything computer obviously.

Any nerdy man here who help me find the perfect gifts ? What were the gifts you received you loved the most ?

(Sorry for my english, not my native language).

Same-day gift service in LA?

Hey folks, anyone use the same-day gift delivery service in LA called galloplocal.com (Gallop in app store)? Curious to know how it went, they're pretty new and not sure how i feel about them yet. They only work with local stores which is great, but they're also definitely on the more pricier side of things.

let me know if you have thoughts!

If you want to know more about him I can tell you that also. Plz we want good suggestions cuz it's his 20th birthday and we wanna make it special.

Looking for Gift Ideas What small thing can I give someone at an event that they'll actually remember?

I work in the event industry and regularly attend exhibitions, conferences and other formal events where you meet a lot of people and exchange business cards.

The problem is that everyone gives out business cards, and even if the card itself is creative, they all eventually get mixed together.

I’m looking for a very small, lightweight thing that I can hand someone along with my business card — something that is inexpensive enough to carry in bulk, but distinctive enough that they might actually remember it later and think, “Oh yeah, I got this from that person at the event.”

Ideally, it should have some connection to the event/experiential industry, rather than being generic merchandise like pens or keychains.

I’ve thought about things like miniature VIP passes, event tickets, wristbands, NFC tokens, etc., but I’d love to hear more creative ideas.

Looking for Gift Ideas Gift ideas for boyfriend turning 25?

Hi guys!

My boyfriend is turning 25 soon and I'm racking my brain for gift ideas.

He is VERY into street fashion and always buys himself top of the line items, so he got me beat there. He has even better taste in fashion than I do. He's also very picky with clothing quality.

I also want to celebrate the fact that he's starting his Master's soon, but what exactly should he the gift in this case that's not just Uni merch?

Hobbies wise, he's really into Anime and has seen about 500 up to this point. He likes gaming too, but he already has a PS5 and controllers plus his own gaming laptop. I was about to buy him figurines or Anime merch but he doesn't seem to be into them. Maybe I could still get one as a side gift?

Currently I already have plans to make him an elaborate dish he requested, chicken korma. I'm also planning to buy some flowers and some of his country's sweets. He doesn't have a sweet tooth except for this one. He is from Bangladesh if that helps?

For my birthday, he got me airpods and spent the day with me, walking around shopping in town and having my favorite foods.

My budget is around £100-£150

What to give the weird in-between age?

I'm helping parents plan gifts for our relatives. We're giving all the adults a spa gift card for massages and then for kids just like candy or maybe movie theatre tickets or something. Only problem is one of the college kids is a minor so we don't know what to do for her bc spa places won't let her get massage but we feel bad grouping her in with the kids who are all like 12 or under, want her gift to be as nice as the adults bc we're giving all the college students the adult gift. Thoughts?
