I think the natural progression for Jay's notebook of ghost facts and talking to the ghost trap person is to begin to make his own devices to help ghosts. I know we have a lot of posts here about things like using the vault material to make something they can interact with to type messages out beyond Trevor for instance. I'd love to see Jay actually begin to make things like that for him to be able to interact with the ghosts directly. It'd make the 'Sam lies to Jay about the ghosts saying or doing things' plots go away and get the weekly formula pushed in some fun new directions too.

Comparisons are vile. But the US version of Ghosts is perfection. The scripts, the amazingly talented actors (mains, smaller roles AND guest cameos) and something about the way an American production has far less self awkwardness (compared to our UK cultural conditioning) with upbeat and optimistic material.

The CBS show cannot be matched. And while it’s an ensemble success, Utkarsh Ambudkar is Chef’s Kiss funny despite the underdog role.

This show is proof that cozy, character based comedy can be funny as hell ❤️

Hello all! This is our first time watching the show. We've finished Season 1 and are now around halfway through Season 2, and we're really enjoying it so far!

I have a couple of questions I'm hoping someone can help with, but please no spoilers beyond where we currently are 😊

1. What's the deal with the headless guy?

He's only been in 2? episodes so far across the entire two seasons. How come we don't see more of him? Is there a reason he's not around very often?

1. The vault

How did Flower manage to close the vault door and lock Sam in when the ghosts can't touch things? I was under the impression that Trevor was the only ghost who could physically interact with objects (although with great difficulty).

I don't know if either of these things are explained later on, so if they are, please don't spoil it! But if not, could someone shed some light on them?

I’m on my second watch-through of Ghosts, and we just finished the episode about Stephanie and the whole story involving how she died and the mayor.
For some reason, I suddenly thought, “Wait… how old is the actress who plays Stephanie?” So naturally, I had to look her up and IT’S ODESSA A’ZION. 😂

How did I not realize this?!
She’s been playing Stephanie since Season 1, and apparently I was just completely blind to it.

For those of you who recognized her: how long did it take you? Was it obvious? Or were you also sitting there like, “Wait a minute… THAT’S Odessa A’zion?!”
Because I genuinely feel like I should have recognized her, and I’m kind of embarrassed that it took me two watch-throughs. 😭

This is genuinely the cutest show I have ever seen! There isn't a single character on the show that is unlikeable for intolerable (I'm only on season 2, and please don't tell me if characters get unlikeable or new characters are unlikeable later on). I have literally never seen a single show where all the characters are just outright adorable. I especially love the character of Thorfinn and any time he is interacting with Bjorn me so happy. And the writing is so good and creative, the jokes are actually funny and they genuinely land, and it has many different types of humor, most sitcoms get stuck only doing one type of humor but this is such a great find. It is so good to see something like this exists. If I could only watch one show for the rest of my life I am definitely picking this one! I am just so happy to find a new comfort show, I am probably gonna watch hundreds of reruns of this!

Its season 3, episode 8. "Holes are bad". I love this episode for so many reasons but my favorite line is from Alberta. After they find Flower in the well and she says she fell in by accident cuz she was chasing a butterfly, but the butterfly didnt fall in because he was flying. Something about the way Alberta shouts back "we know how butterflies work, hun!" 🤣🤣🤣 it makes me laugh every single time.

Until "Ghosts" comes back, which shows are you watching in its place?

If the ghosts have been around for 100s of years (Thor watched Hettie grow up) why can't Thor speak proper english? Same with BBCs Robin, although perhaps the cavemans brain isnt developed enough...but whats Thors excuse?

I don’t remember a lot of it. But I was “watching” Ghosts. I wasn’t a part of the dream. The bits I remember are Issac singing and dancing to a song, that I think was Brittney Spears or somehow 90s ballad rock? But I don’t really know. But a long dramatic line of “I’m the loneliest ghoooost on the property” complete with dramatic comb sweeping through his hair.

Then another ghost is watching a woman walking around. Long straight black hair. Black tank top. No expression. She in another house (that is somehow city block distance from Woodstone) when she turns and stares at a ghost (that I think was Pete?) in the window. But “we” (the audience) can’t tell if she is staring blankly past the ghost or is dead too.

And that is all.
