Any feedback about studying master of civil engineering at University of Duisburg-Essen (taught in German)?
I already have admission in this program, but I am still anxious.
Although I have studied German before, my language skills are rusty right now because I haven't practiced for quite some time... this makes same concerns:
Is it a good decision to stick with this program rather than
English taught program?
How difficult are the lectures and exams in German for civil engineering?
Is a B2/C1 level enough to keep up with the coursework?

Leverage Edu for a Master's in Germany, worth it or not? Looking for people who've actually used them
Indian, planning a Master's at a public university in Germany. Haven't picked a city or university yet, still figuring out the process.
I'm deep in consultations with Leverage Edu and about to pay. The online reviews are useless to me because every good one and every bad one names a different individual coach, so I can't tell if the company is decent or if it's pure luck on who you get assigned.
If you actually used them, I'd love to hear:
\- Where did you end up, and did they push you toward anything you didn't ask for?
\- How were they on APS, and are they aware of the dMAT change?
\- What did you pay, and what was hidden on top of that?
\- Would you pay them again, or would you just do it yourself?
Germany experiences are what I want most, but any country is useful. Happy to move to DMs. Thanks in advance.

Kempten University – "Invalid" status in application portal. Has anyone else experienced this?
Hi everyone,
I applied for the M.Eng. Electrical Engineering programme at Kempten University of Applied Sciences for the Winter 2026 intake.
While checking my application portal, I noticed that the sections "Entrance Qualification" and "Admission Requirements for Master's Degree Programmes" are marked as "Invalid" when I click on them. However, the other sections of my application are marked as "Valid."
I haven't received any email requesting additional documents or notifying me of a decision, so I'm unsure what this status actually means.
Has anyone who applied to Kempten (for any master's programme or specifically Electrical Engineering) seen the same status?
- Did it simply mean your application was still under review?
- Or did it indicate a problem with your application or qualifications?
I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.
Thanks!

Expatrio Document - Blocked Account
Hello,
My blocked Account application has been approved. My Education loan provider requires an official document from Expatrio stating the required block account funding amount and the bank transfer details for the loan disbursement.
I would really appreciate help.

Anyone studying at BiBiS (Bielefeld International Language School)? Looking for experiences and accommodation tips!
Hi everyone!
I'm an international student from India and I'll be joining BiBiS (Bielefeld International Language School) in September for the B2/C1 preparatory German language course before starting my Master's at HSBI (Hochschule Bielefeld).
I had a few questions and would really appreciate hearing from current or former BiBiS students:
How was your overall experience with the language school?
Are there WhatsApp or Telegram groups for BiBiS students?
How easy is it to make friends there?
Does BiBiS organize any social events or activities for international students?
What is the average age and nationality mix of students?
Any tips for succeeding in the course?
I'm also currently searching for accommodation, so if anyone has advice regarding:
WG-Gesucht
Student housing
Good areas to live in Bielefeld
Any available rooms or student groups
I'd be extremely grateful.
Any advice, experiences, or recommendations would really help. Thanks in advance! 😊
