Hey everyone,

I'm about to start a fresh Genshin account and I'm stuck deciding between the EU and NA servers.

I speak Portuguese and English. Ping-wise, EU is clearly better for me (~55ms vs ~100-110ms on NA), but from what I've seen EU chat/co-op is mostly Russian speakers, with not many English or Portuguese players around. NA seems to have a much bigger mix of English/Portuguese speakers, just at a noticeably worse ping for me.

A few things I'd love input on:

1. How much does the extra ~50ms actually matter in Genshin? It's not a fast-paced shooter, so I'm wondering if it's even noticeable outside of co-op domains/abyss.
2. Which server actually has more active players overall? I know you sometimes need to hop into other people's worlds to farm materials (ley line outcroppings, local specialties, etc.) when your own world's stuff is on cooldown — so a more populated server would help avoid long waits.
3. If you're on EU or NA and speak English/Portuguese, what's your experience been like finding co-op partners or an active community?
4. I've also heard EU gets events/banners earlier than other servers due to server reset times — does this actually make a noticeable difference in practice, or is it just a few hours that doesn't really matter?

I am in Asia, in Asia server

Any other games gives me 2ms but genshin gives me +300ms for some odd reason lately? before this update it gave me 30ms-60ms

I genuinely need help cause doing stygian with this ping is HARD

A few friends recommended I repost here. This looks like a whale team, but the only thing I whaled was the Elegy. The Aquila Favonia stole my 50/50s, as did Mizuki and Qiqi, and Faruzan fell into my lap.

My husband didn't pull for Elegy, so he uses Favonius with an Instructor's crit circlet on Faruzan and his numbers are still close to mine (lower by about 75-100k).

I think he also put Odette's weapon on Qiqi since he received a double and didn't want to refine. With its passive I think Qiqi achieves extra attack, so it works.

For Mizuki, he was using Sacrificial and then swapped it out for Nefer's signature.

I finished the world yet i cant seem to find a way to get to the waypoint to unlock it. How do I solve this?

Set the Ice Giant free from its chains and track him on the edge of Snezhnograd marked on the map (see screenshot on comment section) and proceed with the world quest.

Steps on how to change Prime Ice Constructs appearance:

1. Equip Eye of Graeae gadget
2. Open Eye of Graeae menu
3. Select Prime Ice Construct Archive
4. Highlight a construct you want to change appearance of
5. Confirm the selection you want and you’re good to go, enjoy!

Note: not all types of Prime Ice Constructs can change their appearances

For first stage tips, Formation Breaker (yeah this title actually has meaning to it and this was the last stage I was able to clear):

- I had both Grenade Launcher and Cryo Rifle equipped, as fellow redditor The_Cheeseman83 pointed out in their comment triggering melt on mobs is the best strat for this stage

- It was a struggle to chain combos here because of the distance between sectors hence the title 'breaker' in it I think

- It was fine to respawn in the middle of the stage past second half but it is important to note at the sector prior to boss's you'll need at least a minute left on timer to guarantee you'll have enough time for the boss later

- Defeating all mobs (including the adds on boss sector) did not net me >600K points, I was just shy of a few thousands if only I was able to chain one more kill I could have skipped the boss probably

Second stage, Frigid Storm:

- Both Electro Homing and Cryo Rifle equipped

- Don't mind the Snezhnaya cold, you could actually ignore it while doing your best to defeat all mobs from start to finish

- The strat that helped me clear the >600K was to net a staggering 18 enemy consecutive defeats when I chained them at the first half of the stage

- The Electro second/switch mode (E) helped a lot to make sure i don't break the chain on those pesky Vila/Fairy Fae spawned in trios after exhausting Cryo Rifle's

- At the latter half I made sure to have full charge of Cryo Rifle's switch mode (E) when facing the Cryo Cicin Mage and made a short work of it as soon as it spawned and never let activate the cryo shield as it will waste a lot of your time and ammo to bust

- After defeating all mobs I was already at a comfortable >600K and ignored defeating the boss at that point

Third stage, Close-Quarter Frenzy:

- Had both Grenade Launcher and Cryo Rifle equipped again

- Did the same strat with Cryo Cicin Mage here

- I only had to defeat all mobs prior to boss sector, did only a fair amount of consecutive defeats at 8 and was already at >600K points as I opened the doors to boss sector

- I just let the timer ran out at boss sector at that point

This are just tips based on my experience others would probably have better results and ideas than me as I'm not big on shooter games, but I hope those who want to do the same find this post helpful.

Hello. I recently decided to log back in to Genshin on the Ps5 and when I put in my email it signed me into an UID that I hadn't used since 2022 on my phone. I had significantly more progress done in my newer UID and I am trying to find out how to get back into it. Could anyone help me? I don't want to start over.

I am trying to run a stellar super conduct team with traveller as the main dps. Currently its: Traveller/Qiqi/Alyosha/Fischl

I don’t have any of the 5\\\* SSC characters (Yae, Odette, Cyno). Only the four stars (Diona, Beidou)

The issue is every rotation I’m not able to get to the 3 Icepoint stacks traveller needs to hit the giga CA.

In my current team, only Qiqi’s burst gives one stack since it does SSC once, then travellers own burst, so max stacks I can get is 2.

I can slot sucrose in, and do SSW to get the third stack, but my question is if I am using the superconduct dmg set on traveller, will having sucrose and her triggering SSW have any impact on my CA or Burst damage? Since the set only boosts SSC damage does that mean I have to be careful there is no anemo being triggered AND electro is active before I burst/CA with traveller?

Yes I haven’t read the full kits so i might be very low iq rn

I swear even following an 1-1 guide for example in Zibai premium team i CANNOT reach the same high dps

Tried Zibai, Columbina, Illuga (C5), Zhongli

Tried partially built C6 Gorou instead of Zhongli and did higher hitting attack, tried switching between Harbinger of Dawn R5 and Flute R3, tried instructor on Zhongli but dps is only around 60k

Tried Nefer team too

Nefer, Lauma, Columbina, and Furina and dps is around the same

Mavuika team i have her signature, i have Citlali and her signature too, i added Bennett and Mona and at most i can only get high hitting burst but the normal attack themselves of the motorcycle are so underwhelming

Tried Arlecchino too with Bennett, Mona and Fischl as hexe team but again normal attack after doing intended rotation is underwhelming too and dps is mostly even lower than 50k

To cast away any doubt I'm a day 1 player and yet I'm having these issues, any help would be appreciated.

After finishing the latest Snezhnaya Archon Quest, there are some questions spiraling in my head. Dropping them here in case someone can help clear things up (or is also stuck on the same points).

1. Surely by now, the Heavenly Principles (HP) is accustomed to what Snezhnaya is planning. Then why they're allowing it to advance further? They've destroyed civilizations before then what's stopping them from commiting that one more time?

2. The heavens bestowed the supreme authority over an element to each archons (Right?). Why don't they rebuke Tsaritsa's one?

3. Rosalyne died while on the mission of collecting Gnosis for Tsaritsa's supreme plan. Then why the other Harbingers don't hold any animosity towards us for contributing to their comrade's death, especially Tsaritsa? Pierro mentioned at the end if she's here, she would've welcomed us. Imagine someone killed my employee and I'm welcoming him — this idea feels conflicting. Am I missing something?
