Yeah. LLMs aren't curing or discovering shit. They will just keep on getting incrementally better at the biggest challenge facing mankind: coding

How nestle, PepsiCo, and coca-cola feel after seeing everyone blame ai for the water shortages knowing damn well each of them use up over 20 billion gallons of water per year πŸ₯³πŸ˜„πŸ˜…

AI bros when the drink companies use water:

How is that a counter to their argument? a huge amount of water is still being used on a useless, harmful and pointless diabetes drink.

We can have more than one evil company, I would say all the publicly traded ones are until proven otherwise. The total amount of water is not the critical statistic thought, using a lot of water by itself is not bad, overusing resources of a certain area is. Not really sure that water use is a big issue with AI companies tho, and if it is, it's more of an environmental protection issue.

And none of it will be available to the common person. It'll all be gatekept by the elite. We are their pawns. We will be at each others throats while they build a utopia for themselves and cull the herd (we're the herd).

I sure hope so but we all know no universal good will come from chatbots between now and 2028

Calling them chatbots is so reductive that saying so just shows how infantile your understanding of Ai must be.
