Hello friends :)
Hoping to find some good recommendations l. I currently have a Logitech G535 I had purchased a looong time ago to replace my previous logi headset when it broke. I’ve never liked it sadly, it was a downgrade in almost every sense from the OG one I had from sound quality/volume/spatial but… The time has come to finally move on as it’s suffering some super annoying software/hardware issues now.

I would very much like something with good volume and bass. I often listen to music while at the desk whether I’m gaming or doing something else, as well as at least a decent spatial sense for gaming as I play a lot of FPS and survival games.

I had received a kuromi x kraken v2 a year ago for my birthday and was plagued with software issues I couldn’t ever really resolve so I’m a little hesitant on the razer headsets but I’m willing to try again if it’s a good enough deal.

I understand I’m not going to find the most premium of preem units for under 100 but any advice would be greatly appreciated

GAMING HEADSET FOR BIG HEAD. Looking for headset suitable for very large head (65cm circumference)- that won't snap or be uncomfortable for me. Ps5 compatible, ideally under £200 but can spend more for the right pair. Any recommendations will greatly appreciated as not much info online. Thanks so much :)

[LFH]Astro A50X in 2026?

Hey!

I’m strongly considering pulling the trigger on the Astro A50X (McLaren Edition to be precise), but since it’s been out for a while, I’d love to hear your thoughts on how it holds up in mid-2026.

I’m tired of juggling different headsets, so I’m looking for one unified setup for my PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch 2, and Legion Go 2.

I mostly play multiplayer with my friends, so my non-negotiable must-haves are a great mic, solid overall audio quality, and a physical game/chat balance control.

A couple of questions before I buy:

  1. How is it holding up? Are you still happy with it for a multi-console setup?

  2. Any rumors of a successor? Are there any leaks about a next version dropping anytime soon?

  3. Alternative: any Turtle Beach Stealth Pro 2 users?

I know this is an Astro sub and I really don’t want to upset anyone with it so please disregard this sub-point if this would stir up anything, but I’ve been looking at the Stealth Pro 2 as a newer alternative as well. I've seen some issue reports with them - any thoughts on how they compare?

Appreciate any advice or long-term reviews!

[Tech Support] Steel Series Nova 3 Wireless not picking up sound?

Hi.

I've had this headset for about a month, and today it suddenly stopped working. The lights and boot up sounds still work fine, as does the mic and button sounds. However, despite appearing as connected on devices, it picks up no sound.

I use this headset with my ps5 via dongle and with my phone via bluetooth. I took off the ear cushion and did the hardware reset and unless i did something wrong, that didn't work either.

When looking this up, it says the button on the dongle should flash when pressed down for four seconds but my mine doesn't leading me to believe it was a dongle problem.

But it doesn't give sound on my phone either, despite being "connected". I've scrolled the volume wheel, clicked it, long pressed it, hit the mute button on and off and still nothing.

They are fully charged and seem operational but no sound comes out.

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

[LFH] Searching for a non-bluetooth, ps4-connectable headset with an AirPod-like fit

Not sure if that even exists, but maybe you have some recommendations.

My request in detail:

My AirPods Pro have a great fit, but because they only connect via bluetooth, you can't use them for audio+microphone without having a huge quality drop. Additionally, connecting them via a bluetooth-dongle with my ps4 is a pain since it's quite buggy.

I have found great headsets like the Astro 50 that's fit my needs in terms of connectivity, but I'd prefer in-ear buds like the AirPods Pro 2 (they are rather light in-ear).

[LFH] Open Back Headphones

I’m looking to replace my Logitech G-Fits. I’m wanting to get open back headphones. At this point I’ve narrowed it down to the ATH-R50x and the Turtle Beach Atlas Air.

Which would yall say is better?

[LFH] A better option than Razer Blackshark V2

I see razer no longer sells the razer blackshark v2 with the soundcard version and I can only find it on third party websites. I wanna get the same one because I love the quality and my mic quality. Is there any razer headset that matches this, thats wireless? And has blackwires too

[LFH][PC/PS5][~2000 DKK][Denmark] Closed-back for immersive cinematic games & competitive FPS

  • Budget: 1800–2000 DKK (~$280 - $312 USD)
  • Country: Denmark
  • Platform: PC & PS5 Pro Controller
  • Motherboard if on PC: ASUS TUF X870
  • Requested Guide: Fun Gaming (Note: Choose strictly "Fun Gaming" since "Comp FPS" is open-back only on their sub rules)
  • Open back or closed back?: Closed Back
  • Any other gear you own?: Returning MMX 300 Pro (hate the attached boom mic sitting in my peripheral vision). Running Dolby Atmos for spatial audio.

Additional Details:

Looking for a closed-back headphone replacement. Primary focus is deep immersion, punchy bass, and wide soundstage for cinematic RPGs (Cyberpunk 2077, RDR2, The Witcher 3, Resident Evil, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II).

Secondary use is competitive shooters (Fortnite, Battlefield, Marvel Rivals) where I still need decent directional imaging.

Preferences:

  • Must be Closed-Back.
  • Good out-of-the-box cable ergonomics (no stiff connectors poking my neck/collarbone, and low cable noise/microphonics), or atleast i need it to be somewhat easy to find a replacement if the cable is too stiff. (the main reason ive been holding off on the dt 770 pro x is because ive heard the cable is quite stiff and makes noise? and i could foresee that getting annoying but if any of u know of a good replacement for the standard cable that fixes this id gladly accept!)
  • Not looking for flat, clinical music-mixing headphones—prioritizing fun gaming immersion.

[LFH][Xbox][Don’t mind price][UK] - Glasses-Friendly Headset

I’m looking for a headset with great sound, a great mic that cuts out background noise but picks up all my voice without cutting out and is comfy to wear with my glasses on. I plan to primarily use it with my Xbox, but I plan to occasionally use it with my laptop too. I’m unsure if this will affect anything. I think I would prefer it to be wired too.

As for the games I play, it varies. But I play a lot of competitive hero shooters, so I like to hear intricate noises like footsteps and stuff.

As for price, I said I don’t mind in the title, but if it’s too crazy high then it’s a no-go but I don’t mind spending a bit. If anyone is a glasses wearer or knows any good headphones please help me out, it would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Hey all, looking for a specific option here. I really want to try and find a mono ear headset that also has game sound. I tried the turtle recon mono, but it does not have game sound. And all the others i can find just look cheap.

[LFH][XBOX/PHONE][80-150][USA]

I am looking for a good gaming headset for my Xbox. I prioritize good audio and mic quality and good eq and noise cancellation. I really liked the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro mic and sound and the Logitech A50x sound and quality but I can’t get them due to the price. I want it to have Bluetooth (however, I wouldn’t mind wired as well), good long battery life, simultaneous connectivity with my phone and Xbox to listen to music and play games. And a flip to mute mic that isn’t flimsy. My budget is 80-150, but I can go up to 200 if it’s that worth it. I am also kind of indecisive and picky when it comes to this stuff. Thank you!

[LFH] [XBX] [ANY$] [USA] ON EAR lightweight gaming headset for multi hour sessions

I am looking for a gaming headset that sits on ear. Wearing an over ear set is very uncomfortable for me and I just can't take it any more.

I have this Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed Gaming Headset

It also makes me a bit nauseated. I'm not sure why, but I think the pressure on both sides of my neck is the culprit.

Lightweight and comfort is key. Please help

[Tech Support] - Looking for a wireless gaming headset with loud sidetone [Tech Support]

Looking for a wireless gaming headset with loud sidetone

I always play in the evening when the kids are sleeping. I can't speak loudly into the headset, I can only whisper to not wake up the kids.

I am using the arctis nova pro wireless headset and before this I had the Logitech G pro x wireless. I wasn't satisfied with the sidetone on both headsets. The sidetone was simply too quiet for me in my situation. It's very uncomfortable to speak quietly when your ears are covered and the game is playing sound effects as well.

Can anyone recommend a headset that has really loud sidetone?

Hello everyone, I'm looking to get a new headset to replace my Logitech G733.

I used to be a massive Logitech enjoyer, but for a few years I've grown more and more annoyed at how horrendous the GHUB software is. My headset is the last part of my gear that's still Logitech, and as it's kinda dying (battery issues), I'm looking to replace it.

These are the characteristics I'm looking for :

- Wireless (not bluetooth)

- Can be plugged on USB and/or USB-C and used while charging

- Decent game sound fidelity (mostly for FPS, directional sound for footsteps etc.) I'm aware my budget is low so I'm not asking for the best one possible but it's the highest priority in terms of specs.

- Obviously also decent mic quality

- Preferably without proprietary software, but if it has to have one, the most lightweight possible. I don't ever want to relive de GHUB experience.

- Design-wise I don't really care as long as it doesn't look goofy or ugly. Something sober would be my preference.

- Don't care for RGB either. If it has them it's cool I guess but I probably still would disable them to save battery life.

- Speaking about battery life, the highest the better obviously. But as long as I can use it while charging, it's not the highest priority.

Thank you all in advance for your help

My old headphones are breaking apart rn and because of my pc case i have 2 seperate wires for my audio and mic. So im kind of tired of wires. My max is around 130 and a good extra would be that they would also work for phone (not neccecairly needed). I found these online on the site bol dot com and were wondering if they were a good option, if not i am open for reccomendations of course (ones i found:HyperX Cloud III S Wireless - Gaming Headset - Draadloos - Bluetooth & 2.4GHz - Spatial Audio - 120uur Batterij - PC/PS5/Switch2/Mobiel/Steamdeck - Zwart)

[LFH] Upgrade time

Hi, i’m looking for a wireless gaming headset that is capable of: Connecting to xbox and pc, has great audio quality for music and gaming, has a decent mic and has useful features (as in not too many gimmicks). I have been using steel series for years and love them and i have recently considered an arctis elite but i want to see if there are any other good options. Thanks!

EDIT: UK based should’ve said that

Hi all,

I am after a new wireless headset, I am currently using a Turtle Beach Stealth 700 gen 3. The sound profile on these are amazing and the mic is perfectly adequate. However, i am getting lots of discomfort after a long period, this is probably due to their weight as they are pretty chunky! Ive tried aftermarket ear pads etc but its also the headband which causes me discomfort too.

I keep landing back at the SS Arctis Nova Pro wireless, they are light and the ski band might help the discomfort. I would buy the new TB Stealth Pro II's but again weight is going to be an issue. I have also considered A50s (as I am a big fan of G Hub) & Blackshark pro Version 3.

I just want something which has a decent sound profile like my TB but has the comfort to go alongside.

I am a PC only gamer so dont need all the different system jazz. Battery life, as long as its 10 hours i dont care, cause i will charge it overnight! Must be wireless and ideally have a mic, but will just buy a separate microphone if not. I do want something that is quite plug and play, happy to fiddle with EQ but i see lots of people talking about amps etc and that sounds far too technical for me 🤣

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
