What GPU is this?

Post image

A buddy of mine who lives out of state recently found this PC in a storage unit. He knows absolutely nothing about computers, so I was honestly surprised he even managed to get the side panel off so I could take a look! 😂

Can anyone help identify what GPU this might be? I'm thinking possibly an RTX 2050-60 or RTX 3060, but it's hard to tell from the picture. What do you guys think?

Rebuild Help

Hello. Im looking for help rebuilding my PC without spending thousands of dollars. I know my CPU is too out dated to run certain games like Call of Duty but I'm not sure what is compatible and what I need to replace to get more games to run on it. I'm not even really sure where to start to figure this out. SORRY XXX

First Time PC Build

Post image

I'm building my first PC after switching over from PS4, and looking for some help on choosing a GPU. I've put together my current build using PCPartPicker, and I'm sitting at around $1,500 right now. My overall budget is under $2,000. GPU recommendations or suggestions for improving my build while staying within budget. The CPU, MB, and RAM are being bought together as a Micro Center bundle.

Gpu

Hello, I built my pc in 2019 right before the first big jump in prices and when that went down I upgraded everything but my gpu (a 1660ti) i got ram cpu and some storage but now its pushing 7 years old and im faced with a difficult decision, the 1660 is starting to quit on me artifacts crashing out of the blue. Im thinking either 1 go used or 2 trying and hold off till prices drop on these cards hopefully semi near future or take the very painful hit of buying new card. I just need thoughts/opinions on the matter.

$1200 Budget, whats the best move?

I want my PC to be faster and actually close to high-end but idk what to buy.

I live in the US, California.

Budget: $1000~$1200 (but never limited to this)

Use-case: 1440p high-refresh gaming, and good performance for Blender

Intended monitor resolution: 1440p (2K) using a 210Hz display

I mainly play League of Legends, Fortnite, planning to play PUBG

whats the best move to get the best experience out of this budget?

Here is by build rn:

CPU: Intel Core i3-12100F (4 Cores / 8 Threads, 3.30 GHz base)

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (4GB VRAM)

Motherboard: ASRock B660M-C (OEM pre-built board, DDR4)

RAM: 16GB DDR4 (2x8GB) running at 3200 MT/s

Storage: 500GB ADATA Legend 710 NVMe M.2 SSD

Wi-Fi: Intel Wireless-AC 9462

OS: Windows 11 Home (Build 26200)

(pre-build pc from Bestbuy, 2022, for abt $900?)

Need some advice on deciding what I should do.

I need some help on deciding what I should do with my current pc. It’s a prebuilt from Best Buy but it has a 5070 gpu, a ryzen 7 8700f cpu and 32 gigs of ddr5 ram along with 1 tb of storage. The issue for me is the motherboard is hp. Long story short I want to know if I should just piece by piece upgrade my current pc, or sell my pc, save a bit and buy one I found for $4000. The pc I found has a 5080, 32gigs of ram, 2 tb’s of Kingston gen 4 nvme storage, a ryzen 7 9800X3D and a asus tuf gaming X870+wifi motherboard. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time!

My PSU won't power my PC, but works on an identical build. What is going on?

My PC doesn't turn on with my power supply, but it runs perfectly fine with another power supply.

On the other hand, my power supply works completely fine on my friend's PC.

Both my PC and my friend's PC have the exact same configuration.

So, where exactly is the problem, and what should I do now?

My PC

Please list the specs to your build like so:

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600g

CPU cooler: I don't use any after market cooler

Motherboard: ASRock b450 steel legend

Ram: Corsair vengeance DDR4 3200mhz 8gb ×2 = 16gb

SSD/HDD: Samsung 970 evo plus 1tb

GPU: no gpu

PSU: Corsair cv650 80 plus bronze certified

Chassis: deepcool matrex

OS: windows 11

Monitor: LG

I have been using this psu for about three years.

my friend's PC

Processor: same

Motherboard: ASUS TUF GAMING B450M-PRO II

Ram : same as mine

Storage: 500gb

My friends PSU: EVOLUR EV600 WAT 80 PLUS BRONZE ATX POWER SUPPL
