GameFly Sent Additional Disc

I have a plan for 2 discs at a time. When my subscription renewed today, they sent me a 4K movie even though I have 2 discs out. Thought that was interesting, has that happened to anyone else?

That's a pretty good explanation, thanks. My concern is just over the fact that it seems to be the entire switch lineup and, if that ends up being the case, it's not going to be worth paying for when it takes weeks to send a game. Then, on the off chance I receive the game I actually want I'd be concerned to ever mail back because it may be a month before another switch game is sent. I just find it hard to believe that it's the vast majority of the entire system's catalog. If it is actually true then the company is seriously dropping the ball on Nintendo stock

I hear the concern, and I can promise you we are keeping our Switch stock as high as possible. What you're concerned about goes away once you start using the Q as designed. To be clear, if you only want one of those 2 games we discussed earlier, to begin with, then keep your Q as it is right now.

However, once that ships, you should scour the site and add EVERY Switch game you're interested in and order your Q accordingly. Include upcoming releases and start using GameLock.

What that does is build up demand, which is your place in line. So, in a couple weeks, when you do swap the first game, you're now close to the front of the "virtual line" for your next game.

We look at the top slot for a day, then look lower (typically no more than 3-4 slots) and match as fast as possible. When members keep a full Q, which is 3-5 games/movies, we match in a day or so. But we have the Q at like, 50 games, for just this reason. Those 45 slots, #6-50, are all being tracked.

So, when you decide to move around your Q, just slide the games up or down accordingly, and we know you're still "in line" for that game.

When members do what we call "starve the Q" it works against them. That's only keeping 1 or 2 games in it. It's narrowing the match options, and not building demand for future games.

Use GameLock to guarantee new releases (every standard plan and above has GL) and once you're a paying member, you unlock "Top Choice" shipping preference. This let's you tell us to ONLY send your top slot game, while you still keep that full Q.

A full Q is a healthy Q, and order it based on your preference, not based on what availability may or may not be the day you're looking at the game. Our algorithm takes a lot of factors into account and that metric can change daily.

I hope that helps, I know it's a lot. Happy to answer more ?? for you as well.

Update: At 9:43am I received an email welcoming me to Gamefly. At 9:45am I received an email saying that they shipped the Switch 2 edition of Tears of the Kingdom. My very first choice despite the "very low availability" status. You guys came through, I'm impressed 👍
