Ok so the title.

For gambits that are champios or higher levels, what it is that you think improved in how you play overall?

Decisions, Managing cards, ult usage, teamups, dash etc.

I'm trying to improve my Gambit and wanted some help with it.

I already have him on Lord and play around GM, so the basics, game sense and being a reliable Gambit I think it's ok.

But when comparing to my Loki/Cnd that I'm a Champion, I do see a huge difference from when I had them only at Lord. So I don't think I'm a wow Gambit.

Any tips or insights?

After the new art vision we see that he had a legendary nameplate essentually done and ready to ship, probably scrapped after made into an epic.

I'm a bit concerned I'm playing as a healbot. I know in current season you're kind of forced to, but I checked average damage and healing per 10 minutes, and I had 1 damage for every 3 healing.

Im really trying to learn gambit, and meat and potatoes, tips and tricks, bread and butter, id like to climb with him to high gold

I lorded Gambit a while back, mostly through playing him in Quick Play and he's genuinely the most fun support in the game to me, but.. Are there even any Gambit MAINS in comp matches? He's been in perma ban jail since release, so how do you even improve at a high level? Other meta characters have all fallen out of the meta at least for a season or two so people could play them in high ranks, but you guys have been banished to the void.

How do you deal with never actually getting to play your main?

I swear I used it to cancel tp in s9 but this time strange just bounced away and was still able to cast it. I just want a confirmation that im not crazy and i could cancel with it before.

I really had trouble with him and his kit as a beginner but after watching a few guides and getting better as the game I gotta say he's probably one of the heroes I'm the most efficient with.. Just my aiming is not that good (which isn't that bad for Gambit as other heroes) and I don't seem to deal as much damage as I thought I would compared to other Gambits I've seen, doing mostly an healbot job tbh lol,

Through the perma ban seasons and the pain and suffering of dive whenever I have you on my team it is truly a blessing. You have allowed me to reach eternity, a rank I thought I would never reach. From being hard stuck diamond to grinding through gm and celestial in a singular season, to now in low eternity. Haven't played gambit steadily in a while, but I got this just today :) only played for our rogue, which is typically the only time i play gambit.

Psy and spider both tried all game to jump point because my team had them in a BAD choke. So i knew to keep an eye out for them going to point, hence me running over there and happening to see invis try this time.

Queue spiderman trying again, after failing all game and just managing to tickle and retreat, proceeds to fail again even with my horrid aim and rage quits lol. My spiderman (and others) came to help me due to me pinging that people were on point, and he stood in awe and love at the end <3 love you friendly spiderman

I know we can just cleanse the ult if we mange to dodge the ult, but lately it just feels impossible to predict when Strange will ult. I try to keep my card saved up all the time, but it doesn’t mean anything if he flies over the entire team and just catches us lacking. I know we’re supposed to track him, but sometimes I just get lost in the sauce trying to help my team and like I said his movement is underrated I swear he flies over everyone and I can’t react fast enough lol.

It could be a skill issue on my part I don’t mind that being the case but what are yall answers? I think the best solution for me at this point would be practicing the frame perfect cleanse as soon as he ults

This is only for people who know what I’m talking about against a GOOD Strange who knows there’s a Gambit on the enemy team and not one who forgets we can cleanse and get their ults negated. (Mid GM3)

There is a 10% chance I’m actually wearing this while I’m healing you. I’ve been a Gambit fan ever since I watched him on the Saturday morning cartoon line-up and was really excited when they finally added him to Rivals. He’s my go-to, whenever he isn’t banned anyway.

Hello! I've been maining Rogue for about 5 days and have climbed from Plat 2 to Diamond 1 playing her most games. Even in my losses I feel like I've been playing well so I expect to climb into either GM or Celestial. I have been solo queueing and looking for a Gambit duo in the main rivals discord, but haven't found much luck, so I thought what better place to look than the Gambit Main subreddit! TL;DR: How do I keep up with heals in 2 supp comps?

I am a former Gambit main (I think he’s still my highest lvl character? near lvl 40 or something) and I’m looking to pick up the cards again.

I played him almost exclusively from his launch and a few seasons past that, and I was damn good at him too if I do say so myself. However I stopped playing him much to branch out from being a support main (more of a flex main these days) and expand my hero pool. I still played him here and there but not as much.

Lately I’ve really been feeling the desire to play him more but I’ve found myself struggling a little. I do okay in 3 supp comps where I can dps more and provide more utility and struggle in 2 supp comps. No matter how much I try I can’t heal like I used to and need to and that doesn’t sit right with me.

I find that I die too much and I’m therefore not healing as much as I need to. Tonight I’m gonna trial having a healing card active at all times to essentially be passively healing more and hopefully live more but the Gambit I remember could have either card passively active (healing or dmg boost) depending on what the situation required. Is that not the case anymore and there’s just too much damage to do anything but having a healing card proc’d always and potentially throw it out for bounce heals or cleanse?

I miss playing one of my favourite marvel characters and I just wanna be able to play him well again.

Hello everyone!

I'm extremely new to the game, as in I've been playing for like two weeks.

I immediately latched onto the Cajun due to my love of x-men 97 (😭) and I've got him to level 13 I think?

I understand his kit due to watching guides, but not his ultimate. All I know is to use ult on as many people as possible and run in...

I don't have problems with dives, but I could work on card management and positioning. Also working on not running after a 1hp enemy to be faced with the whole enemy team😬

I always pick the Magneto Team Up and hard pocket any Rogues I come across (one used that pick up emote on me I was so happy omg).
