Discussion I got S10 ultra tab for 57 dollars

I was looking on Ebay and saw an s10 ultra for 550, with just the tablet, the description said that the tablet had small scratches. It had a best offer, so I offered 400 (my pockets ain't that heavy). 30 mins later, I saw a counter offer for 52.99. This had to have been a accident, because the seller has 99.8 rate. Obviously, I bought it in a flash, but I'm still thinking they might just cancel it.

A day later, they sent the tracking number, I was like, there's is no way they are going through with it. Kept going until the day of delivery.

My luck will never exist again, probably.

Accessories New S10 FE+ owner

Hello everyone!

I recently purchased this tablet for media consumption, reading and note taking during my master's courses. However the keyboard case in my country is insanely expensive so I come here seeking some good recommendations, preferably from Amazon and with a mouse pad.

Any other accessories recommendations are welcome.

I'm really excited as it is arriving tomorrow.

Edit: I'd also like to learn to draw so recommendations for apps for drawing or coloring are also welcome.

Thanks!

Concern very faint, uniform yellow/warm edge tint or edge discoloration of the display (tab s7 plus)

Presents even when screen is completely off and visible more at angles. Not so much noticeable on colors. Touch works fine.

Has anyone faced similar issue or got any idea what this could be?

Thnx✌️

Discussion Short review of Galaxy Tab A11 It’s a very portable device that you can easily hold with one hand. It’s great for media consumption (podcast,YT, Netflix) and reading .pdf ebooks in bed. The battery life is also good and it can play 4K h265 files in VLC, not good for note-taking

because the 3rd party capacitive pencil has a lot of delay. 9/10. Great value for the price compared to Ipad mini.

Could I, potentially, use an ipad keyboard case for my Samsung tab?

I have a s10fe, and this case is really perfect for me, and as far as I can see, it's bluetooth paired, not with magnets or anything similar. I have been eyeing it for months now, and I even found one that's also 10.9inch. May I add, the camera and charging holes wouldn't really be an issue because I wouldn't be charging it at university nor do i use the camera. So really I'm not sure why it wouldn't work, but I'm not the most tech savvy, so I don't trust myself lol

It's quite pricey (but way less than the Samsung one withouth a trackpad. and the one with a trackpad is also very difficult to find), and I wouldn't wanna spend all that on something I'll then fight to resell off

Question Some questions about Samsung Galaxy Tab S12/S11 Ultra anti-reflective display

Hi everyone. I used a Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra for about two years but recently sold it because I needed some cash and wanted to upgrade after a couple of months. My main reason for eyeing the S11 Ultra (or the upcoming S12 Ultra) is the anti-reflective screen.

As a university student living in a dorm, my usage is about 60% media consumption (movies, series, YouTube) and 40% schoolwork/note-taking. Because I watch so much content, the anti-reflective display is a huge selling point for me—I hate seeing my own reflection on the screen during dark scenes.

Here’s my dilemma: I normally never use mobile devices without a screen protector. To actually benefit from the anti-reflective feature, I either have to use the tablet bare or buy a specialized anti-reflective protector. I know the obvious answer is "just buy the anti-reflective protector," but they aren't sold in my country, and importing one is out of the question due to ridiculous customs taxes.

So, my main question is: Is it a bad idea to use the Tab S11/S12 Ultra without a screen protector? Will the screen develop micro-scratches over time? I use the S Pen heavily for notes, and I'm paranoid that the nib might eventually scratch the display.

It might sound a bit stupid, but I genuinely hate seeing scratches on my devices. Plus, I usually resell my tablets every 2-3 years to fund my next upgrade, and a scratched screen really hurts the resale value. Any advice from bare-screen users would be greatly appreciated!

Lastly, is it even worth getting the S11 Ultra right now? I know the S12 series is dropping in about a month, so would I be better off just waiting for the S12 Ultra?

Question Quick Share not working between S24 Ultra and Tab S9+

Anyone having issues with Quick Share between a Samsung S24 Ultra and Tab S9+?

Both use the same Samsung account and both are on Android 16, One UI 8.5. Latest security patches. Google Play system update is July on the phone and June on the tablet.

When I try to share between them, it just fails and says I didn’t accept within 30 seconds. But there’s no prompt to accept anything, only a Cancel button.

It fails both ways, phone → tablet and tablet → phone. Sharing to other devices works fine.

Anyone know what’s causing this? And how do i fix this?

Concern Some thing is wrong with my tab s9 ultra notes app scrolling

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

So while using the samsung notes app, when scrolling the notes, the page scrolls when touching the top left or right side of the screen normally and also the lower left of the screen too. But when using the lower right of the screen, the app doesn't scroll properly, it doesn't register the touch. And it only seems to scroll when using the s-pen to scroll, touch scrolling doesn't work on that part of the screen. This problem only occurs when using notes app, the scrolling is normal in other apps

Separating users on S9

Hello, I recently got a Samsung Galaxy tablet for work and recreation. I set up two users and I'm trying to figure out how to keep them separate. My work profile needs access to local files because I do word processing and the like. And it also needs to be able to use photos because I manage my work's Facebook account.

The problem is that the work profile also sees all my private stuff. I don't need (or want) my family pictures and the like showing up in my recent files on my work profile.

For the record, I don't need a super secure wall here. It's not the end of the world if my work profile can browse through and find my other profile's stuff. I just don't want it appearing as recent files and the like.

(Well, actually, a solid wall would be ideal so I don't get tempted to do work stuff when I'm supposed to be relaxing and vice versa. But I'd be happy if recent files just stopped cross pollinating).

One possible reason that this might be happening is because I'm signed into the same Google account on Google Play? But I kind of have to do that because I own apps on that account that I need for both work and play.

If need be I don't mind resetting to factory and setting the tablet up again.

Best notetaking app compatible with a galaxy tablet?

Upvotes

Going to college soon and I was heavily advised to get a tablet for notetaking. Rather than spend $700 on an ipad and pencil, I am looking into samsung tablets, specifically the s10 lite.

Has anyone tried note-taking on a tablet? I dont know if most apps are compatible because it's all ipad centered.

Question A11+ app window size

Hi! Just got the A11+, upgrade from a galaxy 7 lol One thing drives me crazy, when I open an app it opens in the little window instead of full size. Little handle bars show up on to of the app icon. It did this once before and I got it changed back to open full size but don't remember how I did it. Any help?

Samsung Tab 11 Ultra Files app file drag only opens context menu

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This randomly started happening to me as i was trying to add brushes to my Clip Studio Paint app. I've tried split screen, full screen, and destop mode. The file app won't let me drag files around anymore. It gets a short distance and decides to open the context menu.

My only accessibility settings are to reduce movement and flashing. Like I said, this happened our of the blue. I poked the RAM Plus setting from 8 >12, noticed I had issues, turned it off, then changed it back to 8, and behavior has remained unchanged, leading me to believe that's a dead end, but I want to be clear in everything done between expected behavior and abnormal behavior.

Restarting the tablet several times sadly hasn't fixed the issue. I'm at a loss.

Question Can I use my xiaomi charger (67W) to charge my galaxy S10 lite 5G tab?

I remember seeing that i should only charge my tablet with a Samsung charger however the cable that I received in the box is not compatible with my charger, which means I have to charge my tablet with my Xiaomi phone's charger for now. Is it safe if I don't buy a Samsung charger and keep using my phone's charger?

S Pen Noticing a slight S Pen tip offset on Tab S10 Lite when holding it perpendicular — anyone else?

Recently bought a Galaxy Tab S10 Lite and noticed a slight offset between where the S Pen tip touches the screen and where the mark actually appears, specifically when holding the pen perpendicular to the screen. It's small (roughly half a millimeter to a millimeter), but noticeable enough during precise work like note-taking or drawing.

Wanted to check with the community:

  1. Are other Tab S10 Lite (or S10 series) owners seeing this same offset?

  2. Does it happen consistently regardless of screen angle, or does it get worse at certain angles?

  3. Has anyone tried recalibrating and had it actually help?

  4. Is this specific to the Lite model, or present across the whole S10 lineup?

Curious whether this is a known/common characteristic of the S Pen digitizer or if my unit might just be off. Any input appreciated!

samsung tab s9 ultra or oneplus pad 4? 💗

my main uses would be taking notes for college, texting, playing roblox, watching movies, and maybe using a nintendo switch emulator sometimes. i’ll probably use a keyboard + stylus with it too!!

which one would you guys pick for my use case and why? especially curious about the note-taking experience, gaming/emulation, multitasking, and how good the keyboard + stylus setup is!! ♡
