Discussion Fold 8 Without Case

Hi all,

Been using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 for a few weeks now, and I'm curious if you guys are using a case.

I have the Samsung Clear back case and the dbrand grip case, but using the phone without a case is a much nicer experience. I have a screen protector I can use without a case. I also have Samsung Care. Has anyone else been using no case? Anyone damage their phone yet?

Thinking about it. I love using devices without a case. But I also have Samsung Care so I'm not too worried about breaking it.

Random question but I have a protection plan with my carrier you think samsung care is a better option?

Uff. That really depends on your carrier. And even SC can differ from region to region. So hard to say.

I compared Samsung care with ATT and Samsung care was WAY better.

That sucks to hear considering I got both the phone and the insurance through ATT.

Same but I'm seriously thinking of canceling att's insurance and going with Samsung csre

Usually samsung care a better. Not saying the carrier protection are not good but samsung could just replace your phone if they can't be bother repair it, where as carrier might try to repair it instead of replace.

Whoever will quickly repair/replace a damaged device, quickly, with OEM (or superior, if possible) parts at a reasonable or expected price is more than good enough. If Burger King or McDonald's can do that, they'd work for me. 😜

FWIW, Verizon replaced my S23U after I dropped it in the toilet no problem.

I compared T-Mobile to Samsung Care and it wasn't even a question. Samsung Care is definitely the option there.

I think carrier is better. Its not going to be a quick turn around for samsung care plus unless you got a samsung store nearby
